Charlotte worked as a nurse's aide, attended the Assembly of God Church, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and decorating. Born May 9, 1939 in Port Vue, he was the son of Charles and Josephine (Synkowski) Kijowski, and beloved husband of Geraldine (Germak) Kijowski for 53 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters, Carol (Joe) Pollak of West Mifflin and Dolores (Art) Eagan of Pittsburgh, and many wonderful godchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles; mother, Josephine; and brother, Joseph. Carl honorably served our country in the US Army as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. Following his military service, he attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics in West Mifflin, PA. He was employed with United Technologies/Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut for 44 years as a Field Service Engineering Representative where he traveled the world. After retiring he was employed with Wood Group/Pratt & Whitney as a Senior Executive V.P. of Engineering & Government Contracts.
