Dorothy Rupert Stevick, 97, died October 3, 2016 at Spring Arbor of Williamsburg. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 18, 1919, she was the daughter of Roy Milton and Charlotte McCuaig Rupert, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Curtis Stevick; son, Robert S. Stevick II; brother, Roy M. Rupert, Jr.; and sister, Betty Turner. Mrs Stevick was a secretary for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Stevick and her son in law, Dr. Kenneth L. Webb, both of Richmond, VA and her sister, Barbara R. Fabian. A private service was held at Mount Vernon Cemetery Chapel. The family suggests contributions if desired to the Olde Town Medical Center, 5249 Olde Town Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188. Hull, Sr., and the late Alice A. Jones Hull. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Versailles, and the Invisible Village Theater in Garfield. She worked at the Angora Gardens in White Oak and was formerly an EMT and Nurse's Aid.

Kathleen M. Liberatore, age 69, of McKeesport, died October 11, 2016, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born November 5, 1946 in Hazelwood, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Savilla (Garrity) Brennan and the wife of Ronald L. Liberatore, for over 50 loving years.
Kathy retired as an instructor at Mon-Yough Mental Health with over 25 years of service and before that she worked at US Steel National Tube Works, in McKeesport, for 5 years.

George R. Jacob "Jake" "Babe", age 76 of Irwin, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the William Penn Care Center in Jeannette. Born August 7, 1940 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George and Julia (Lovas) Jacob, and loving husband of Joyce (Byerly ) Jacob. Jake honorably served our country in the US Navy. Following his military service, he went on to work for US Steel Irvin Works in Dravosburg. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, and he always looked forward to his camping trips to the Moraine Camplands to spend time with his family and camp buddies. He was an avid fisherman, having traveled to the Great Lakes and Canada in search of his "biggest catch". Jake's dream of owning a motorcycle became a reality a few years ago when he became a proud owner of his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed all Pittsburgh Sports, and was also a Penn State fan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Randall (Linda) Jacob of North Huntingdon, Diana (Mark) Long of Penn Twp., and Lori (Donny) Elias of Jeannette; grandchildren, Heather Elias, Chelsea Long, Rebecca Long, Michael Elias, Alina Jacob, and Carlin Jacob; sister, Dolores (William) Halas of North Huntingdon; and one great-grandson on the way. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Varga. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 3 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 7 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Pastor Rich Phipps will officiate. Inurnment with full military honors will be Monday, October 17, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the whole staff at Medi Home Hospice, especially his nurse Sara, and all the staff at William Penn Care Center for the loving and compassionate care given to Jake.
