Margaret C. (Keresman) Vidnovic, 93, a resident of Walden’s View, North Huntingdon, formerly of McKeesport, died peacefully in her sleep, Monday May 30, 2016. She was born April 15, 1923 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Steve and Della Keresman and was also preceded in death by her husband Samuel Vidnovic and a brother Joseph Keresman. She is survived by her sons, Fred Vidnovic of North Huntingdon and Glenn Vidnovic and his wife Sara of Iowa City, Iowa; her grandchildren, Natalie (Joshua) Janov, Sam Vidnovic, and Anne (Gabe) Kipsinger; her great grandchildren, Samuel and Jonah Janov; her sister Mildred (Patrick) Mercurio of McKeesport; also nieces and nephews.

James E. Hopkins, 77, of Ardara, died Monday May 23, 2016. He was born February 2, 1939 in Ardara, a son of the late George I. and Charlotte (Storm) Hopkins and was also preceded in death by an infant brother and sister, George I. Jr. and Virginia Hopkins. He was a retired bus driver for the Port Authority of Allegheny County and a member of Ardara Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Jim loved to golf. He is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Jackie P. (Doyle) Hopkins; his children, James E. Hopkins Jr. and his wife Patty of Florida and Lisa Casavant and her husband Brad of Irwin; grandchildren, Taylor, Delaney, Jayme, Noel, and Angel; siblings, Janet Dudley of MO, Vivian (Dave) Davidson of AR, Georgia Perry of NB, Judy (Paul) Stokum of Jeannette, and Robert Hopkins of Pitcairn; also nieces and nephews.

She was born June 13, 1952 in McKeesport, a daughter of Sophie (Zapora) Panzo and the late Stephen Panzo. She was a former member of St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church in North Huntingdon. Patti had owned the Comfort Zone tanning and nail salon in Level Green, and work at the Westwood Banquet Center in Duquesne before dedicating her time to her mother’s care.

Betty Ruth Kline, age 88, of White Oak, died May 28, 2016 at her residence. She was born in McKeesport on August 22, 1927 and is the daughter of the late Max and Leona Berkowitz Greenfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of over 60 years, Bernard H. Kline, a WW ll veteran and her brother, Donald Greenfield.
She was a retired registered nurse, a former Brownie Leader, loved to go to lunch with her friends and play bridge and Mahj Jongg. She was a member of Temple B’Nai Israel, the Sisterhood, B’Nai Brith Women and Hadassa. She truly enjoyed singing and tapdancing in the Sisterhood Plays and at the membership luncheons.
She is survived by daughters; Ellie (Bruce) Lederman of Pacific Palisades, CA, Meryl (Fred) Trachtman of Olney, MD, son; George (Mary Jo) Kline of White Oak, grandchildren; Eric, Jeffrey, and Joshua (Elizabeth) Lederman, Reita, Lena, and Max Kline, and Rachel and Molly Trachtman, and sister, Phyllis Greenwald of N. Hills, California.
Friends and family will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Tuesday from 1:30 until 3:00 pm. when services will be held in the funeral home chapel. Rabbi Paul Tuchman will officiate the services and the eulogy will be by Rabbi Daniel Schiff. Burial will follow in Agudath Achim Cemetery in Forest Hills.

Victor W. Molnar DDS, of McKeesport, died May 20, 2016, at Southwestern Nursing Care Center. Born June 24, 1928, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Barillo) Molnar.
Victor was a retired dentist. While maintaining a private practice in McKeesport, he often provided free dental services to McKeesport School District students. Victor was a member of the former Transfiguration of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, where he served as a trustee. He was a member of the Sierra Club, Dental Association of Western Pennsylvania, Hungarian Room Committee of Pittsburgh, and served as secretary and treasurer of the Hungarian Social Club of McKeesport.
