She was the wife of the late George A. Scales who died January 16, 1995. Mildred was a retired employee of the State of Maryland. She was a former member of the Boston United Methodist Church. Mildred is survived by a son, Richard A. Scales of Fallston, MD, daughters, Janet (Lacy) Baldwin of Gallipolis, OH and Cathy (Thomas) Tennyson of Clarington, OH, grandchildren, Frank, Paul, and Mary Beth Baldwin, and Shana Tennyson and nine great-grandchildren.

John "Charles" Shick, 77, of North Huntingdon, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away March 1, 2016 at home.  He was born April 1, 1938 in West Mifflin, a son of the late John R. and Elizabeth King Shick.  Prior to his retirement, John was a die maker for Fisher Body.  He was a former member of Dravosburg United Methodist Church, a member of Circleville United Methodist Church, North Huntingdon AARP,  the Happy Go Lucky Square Dance Group.  He is survived by his wife, Rowena "Dutch" Baker Shick; two sons, Paul Shick, Edward Shick and his wife, Yvonne; two daughters, Darlene Shick, Karen Schmidt and her husband, Andrew; sister, Sara Busdosh; grandchildren, Jonathan Schmidt, Chance Shick, Kya Shick, Andrew Schmidt (Veronica), LeAnne Looker (Paul); three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the James W.
