Marian (Snyder) Marcoff, age 79, of Finleyville, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital. She retired after 25 years as a tour guide and clerk typist for Round Hill Park in Elizabeth Twp. She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church where she was a former deacon and Sunday School teacher. A 1956 graduate of McKeesport High School, she most recently attended South Hills Bible Chapel. She was known to her family and friends for her wit, compassion, and her love of the Lord.

A Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam War, he was a member of the Elrama Sportsman's Club and a life member of the Clairton VFW.

John M. Slavick, age 66, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at home. He was a former bus driver for DMJ in Mt. Pleasant. A Marine veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he was a former member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp. and a lifetime member of West Newton Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed spending the summer at his camp in Potter County and sitting under the pavilion by the fire with an ice cold Coors Light. He loved his dog Max and hunting.

Harry Kenneth Shoemaker, age 67, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017. A Navy veteran having served in Vietnam, he was a retired mechanic for Elizabeth Auto Sales. He was an avid collector of comics and memorabilia, and he loved music, camping, and building model cars and planes. He studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, was a former disc jockey, and was a history buff who wanted to learn everything he could about World War II.
