Edith Mae (Haddock) Dinello, age 89, of West Newton, and formerly of Gratztown and Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at TLC Adult Care Center. She was a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Elizabeth Twp. Born December 2, 1928 in Gratztown, she was a daughter of the late William and Amanda (Hamilton) Haddock and wife of the late Julio G. Dinello. She is survived by daughter, Deborah  A. (Robert) Bowers of Elizabeth Twp.; son, Michael J. (Mariann) Dinello of Wentzville, MO; grandchildren, Amy (Steve) Datovech of Peters Twp., Matthew (Natalie) Bowers of Elizabeth, Angela (William) Schneider of Gilbert, AZ, Lisa (Luke) Leyh of Washington, D.C., and Brian (Amy) Dinello of Belle Vernon; great-grandchildren, Alexander and Nathaniel Datovech, Braylynn Bowers, Jayson and Liam Schneider, and Gabrealle and Alexa Dinello; brothers, William (Patricia) Haddock of Sutersville and Robert (Lynn) Haddock of Mooresville, NC; daughter-in-law, Carol Gioia of Elizabeth Twp.; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Yurkovich and Ollie Merletto, both of Elizabeth Twp.; brother-in-law, Jino Dinello of Michigan; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Frank A. Dinello, and sisters, Doris Haddock and Rebecca Arch. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to Stephanie and Rob Short of TLC Adult Care Center and staff for their kind and compassionate care of Edith in her time as a resident and during hospice. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 PM. A Blessing will take place on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10 AM in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
