James Robert “Jim” Kaiser 82, of Clairton, formerly of Erie and East McKeesport, passed away on Monday July 12th, 2021, at Jefferson Hospital. He was born in McKeesport on June 12th, 1939, to the late Arthur and Elizabeth Woodyard Kaiser. James was the loving husband of thirty years to Linda A. Kaiser. He is survived by his sons James Eric (Renee) Kaiser of Erie, and Robert Scott (Pam) Kaiser of Fairview, daughter Melissa Lynn (Robert) Steinbaugh of Erie, and stepdaughter Maura (Marc) Derstien of Telford, his brother Duane Arthur Kaiser of Alexandria VA Grandchildren Erica Kaiser, Tiffany Kaiser, Calvin Derstein and Tyler Derstein and grand dogs Ellie and Bo. James was a member and sexton of the Wilson Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed watching baseball and liked the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals and taking his annual vacation trips to Walt Disney World.

Loretta Jane (Goldsworthy) Keene, 92 of Dravosburg, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at her home. She was born in Clairton on May 17, 1929 to the late John and Leolia Ashton Goldsworthy. Loretta was the loving wife of 48 years to the late William Newton Keene Jr. She is survived by her children William (Karen) Keene of Bethel Park, Gwendolyn Schrantz of White Oak, Beverly Fletcher of Dravosburg, Barry (Georgetta) Keene of Dravosburg, Dennis (Shelly) Keene of West Mifflin, Brenda Wiedder of Kernersville NC, Lisa (Douglas) Menzies of Port Vue, and Melanie (Dennis) Glaub of McKeesport. Other survivors include her 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Harry “Puffer” Weber 94 of Dravosburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 3rd 2021 in Apex, NC. He was born on September 11, 1926 in McKeesport the son of Fred Weber and Kathryn Ringer Weber of Dravosburg. Harry was married to the late Lillian V. Furia Weber on March 14, 1947. He worked for US Steel and served in the Navy. Harry was a beloved member of Dravosburg United Methodist Church. He loved golfing and crossword puzzles. He lived in Dravosburg until he moved to Eldersville in 2012 to live with his son and most recently moved to Apex, NC to live with his granddaughter. Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian V Furia Weber and his only son Harry F. Weber Jr. Surviving are his grandchildren Brandy Lee (Dave) Porter of Apex, NC, and Casey Alan Weber of Fort Myers, FL. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at I.M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St, Dravosburg, PA 15034. Kenneth Robert Hoetzlein, 62 of Monongahela, passed away on June 22, 2021, at home. He was born in Pittsburgh to Ora Mae Cogswell Hoetzlein and the late Lawrence Albert Hoetzlein Sr. Kenneth was the loving partner of 22 years to Debbie Sarnoskie. He is survived by his mother Ora Hoetzlein and his fiancée Debbie Sarnoskie. He is further survived by his sons Matthew (Laurie) Hoetzlein, Robert Hoetzlein, and Jules (Nikki Eicher) Branch. Other survivors include his grandchildren Zane, Reannah, Jules Jr., Paige, Makenzy, Lydia, Hannah, and Bentley Hoetzlein. His brothers include Lawrence Jr., William, and Joseph Hoetzlein. He is also survived by his sisters Winifred Lynch, Mary Beth McClean, Rose Ann Riedell, and Maylena Rhinda. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Sr., his brother Timothy, and his sister Marguerite Ethridge. He was a member of the former St. Anthony’s Church. Kenneth owned and operated M&R Masonry, where he worked until his retirement in 2015. In his retirement, Kenneth drove for Roadrunner Services until 2021. Kenneth loved to cook, shoot pool, and play bar bingo. He also loved the Pittsburgh Penguins. Kenneth loved going to his son Jules’ house and spending time with his family. Phyllis Marie Morrow Sands Poziviak, 65 of Floreffe, passed away on Saturday, June 12th, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital. She was born in McKeesport on September 10, 1955 to Patricia Ulakovich and the late Elmer Morrow Sr. Phyllis was the loving wife to the late Ronald Poziviak. She is survived by mother Patricia “Pat” Ulakovich of Elizabeth, her daughter Dannielle Henry of McKeesport and her son Scott Sands of Floreffe. She is also survived by her sisters Colleen (Gary) Odenthal of Elizabeth, Karen Contrillo of Monessen, Debra Lockner of Elizabeth, and Michelle (Bob) Lucas of Clarksville, as well as her brother Elmer Morrow Jr. of Monessen. Other survivors include her grandchildren Zachary, Tyler, Summer, and Madison as well as her great-grandchild Riley and many nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her beloved dog Tessa, a pit mastiff. Phyllis is preceded in death by her father Elmer Morrow, brother LCpl Richard Morrow, husbands Leonard Sands and Ronald Poziviak, and significant other Paul Cromling. She enjoyed baking and cooking and will be remembered for the delicious dishes she created. Her family will remember her heart of gold and love for Patsy Cline. Wilma Lee Emerick Hatridge, 70 of West Mifflin, formerly of Somerset, and White Horse Mountain, passed away on May 25, 2021, at Jefferson Hospital. She was born in Fairhope, PA on January 4, 1951, to the late Leora Catherine and Verdie Russell Emerick and was the youngest of 13 siblings. She is survived by her son Dominic Jordan of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Angelo Jordan of North Braddock. She is also survived by her grandchildren Samantha Jordan of Smock, Danielle Haas of McKeesport, Joey Jordan of McKeesport, Justin Jordan of McKeesport, Anastasia Jordan of McKeesport, Shannon Rowland of McKeesport, Kaylynn Jordan of Chambersburg, Nate Jordan of Carnegie, Zach Jordan of Pittsburgh, and Dominic Jordan Jr., of South Carolina, Hailey Jordan of South Carolina, and Destiny Jordan, of South Carolina, siblings Robert Emerick, of Fairhope, PA, Wayne Emerick, of Hyndman, PA, Ernest Emerick, of Fairhope, PA, Betty Lou Clites, of Hyndman, PA, Pauline Moore, of Hyndman, PA, and June Emerick, of Florida, as well as a multitude of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Merle, George, John, Jim, and Sharon, as well as her sons Joe and John Jordan, and her grandson Josh Jordan. As a child, Wilma was the first of the family's generations to learn german/english and enjoyed playing on the family farm. She also enjoyed swimming at the waterfall by the train tunnel, where she and her siblings would take turns jumping on and off the trains going up the mountain! She was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved her family very much. Wilma was nothing short of a blessing. She was that and more- no matter where she was or who she was with, she always made others smile and laugh. You could call her at any time of the day, and she would have an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. Her hugs could make the world stop turning. She was kind, quiet, and never raised her voice. She enjoyed watching The Brady Bunch, Alice, and The Nanny. She enjoyed music, and specifically enjoyed the music of Foreigner. She also enjoyed reading her Bible. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mother as well as her faith. She was known for her sweet disposition and wonderful sense of humor. Mark Todd “Country” Wintermyer, 54 of Clairton, passed away on Saturday May 15, 2021. He was born in McKeesport on July 15, 1966 to Edward Paul Wintermyer, Sr. and the late Victoria Hope Anderson Barna. He is survived by his children Amanda of Mississippi and Micah Wintermyer of Jasper, Alabama as well as his 2 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Edward Jr. of Clairton and Thomas (Ronda) Wintermyer of Glassport and his father Edward Paul Wintermyer, Sr. Mark was preceded in death by his mother Victoria Hope Anderson Barna. James A. Cottone

James Anthony Cottone, 74 of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, formerly of Clairton, Pennsylvania, died on May 5, 2021. He was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania as one of eight children on December 11, 1946, to the late Eugene and Angeline (Leeper) Cottone. James was a 1965 graduate of Clairton High School and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a steelworker for the USS Irvin Works for nearly 20 years and worked as an insurance broker for the remainder of his very hardworking career, which continued until his death. James was a talented football player for Clairton High School and Parsons College. Throughout his life, he enjoyed camping, boating, dancing, music, sports, and spending time with his family.

James is survived by his daughter Ellen (James) Richey; sisters Joann (Jack) Geary and Mary Ann (Robert) Melani; and brothers Eugene (Bonnie) Cottone and Robert (Cindy) Cottone, and companion Dorothy Smoyer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Anthony (Janet) Cottone and Frank (Dinka) Cottone as well as his sister Carmel (William) Donnelly.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 9th from 6-8 and Monday, May 10th from 2-4 and 6-8 at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. Lucille Ann Michaels Blake, 73 of Clairton, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her residence on Monday, May 3rd, 2021. She was born in West Mifflin on November 15, 1947 to the late Gustave and Anna Mae Bach Michaels. Lucille was the loving wife of over 50 years to the late Gary E. Blake.

She is survived by her loving daughter Melody A. Blake and her beloved son-in-law and caregiver Christopher Volpe as well as many nieces and nephews and her loving puppies Daisy and Molly. Lucille was preceded in death by her 3 brothers Robert, John, and Ronald Michaels.

She was a member of the Saint Paulinus congregation in Clairton. Lucille loved her family dearly and touched many lives. She enjoyed watching her soap operas and her nightly milkshakes that Christopher brought to her. She was an avid bingo player and loved trips to the casino with her husband and brothers.  She also enjoyed needlework and crocheting.  

However, she was best known for the abundant amounts of Christmas cookies she would bake every year for her beloved family.  She graduated from Clairton High School in 1966 and was employed by J. Edward Connelly and Associates.

Christopher James “Rave” Millington, 33, of Pittsburgh, formerly of West Mifflin and New Castle, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, in Pittsburgh following a tragic accident. He was born on October 16,  1987, in Pittsburgh to the surviving Scott P. Millington and Karin M. Cain. Christopher is survived by his parents Scott P. Millington of Glassport and Karin Cain of Brentwood. He also leaves behind his daughter Shayla R. Millington of Brentwood, who Christopher was incredibly proud of and he considered his greatest achievement, his sister Amandia (John) Millington of Munhall, nephew Johnny, many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, and his dogs, Sadie, Kitty, and Icey. Christopher was preceded in death by his brother Scotty Albert Millington. He was a graduate of the Lawrence County Vo-Tech, was a life member of the V.F.W, enjoyed shooting pool, riding his bike, going fishing, darts, playing Play Station, but most of all he loved and cared for all of his family and will forever be remembered as having a big heart overflowing with compassion. He took special care to take care of his mother who will forever dearly miss him, he was her support who was always there to help her when it was needed. Christopher loved to work and worked for himself as an independent contractor doing construction.

Jerry was the loving husband of 62 years to Nancy L. Biddle Angotti. He is survived by his wife Nancy Angotti of Clairton, his sons Jerry (Pam) Angotti of Jefferson Boro, Boyd (Lori) Angotti of Milton W.V. his daughter Lisa Seiling of Clairton, grandchildren Rob, Jared, Dean, Jeremy, greatgrandchildren Dean, Blake, Mason, and his sister Jonette (Robert) Edkins of Pleasant Hills. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister Arlene Dellapenna. He was a member of the Living Hope Assembly of God Church in Clairton. He was a member of the U.S. Navy in Korea through 1956-1960 and worked as a Police Officer for the City of Clairton and worked as a Correctional Officer at West Penitentiary Prison. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to gun fairs and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. Jeffrey Scott Turpyn, 58, of McKeesport, formerly of Monongahela passed away on Saturday, March 20th, 2021 at U.P.M.C. Presbyterian Hospital. He was born in Willingboro N.J. on November 12th, 1962 to the late Maurice R. and Ethel M. Turpyn. Jeffrey was the loving husband of 4 years to Dorothy M. Chamets Turpyn.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Turpyn of McKeesport, his son Kevin A. Turpyn of Wilmington N.C., daughters Madison E. Turpyn of Finleyville PA, Jordan E. Turpyn of Monongahela PA, sister Michelle Williams of West Newton, brother Greg S. (Veronica) Turpyn of Moorestown N.J., niece Tiffany A. Williams and great-niece Brooklynn Williams-Maszkiewicz. Jeffrey joined the Navy in 1983 and served for four years.

He worked as a home inspector for the Home Team Inspection Service in Bethel Park doing HVAC. He graduated from John K Ossi Vo-tech from Medford, N.J. He enjoyed watching the Steelers, Penguins, and Nascar, working on jeeps, and spending time with his family.

He was born in McKeesport on October 11th, 1962 to the late William Sr. and Shirley Yeager Harbert. He is survived by his son Elmer J. (Destiny Houser) Harbert Jr. of Glassport, stepdaughter Krista Wampler of McKeesport, grandchildren Aniyah Harbert, Makiah Harbert, Mason Harbert, Christopher Harbert, James Clark, Kamera Clark, brothers William (Anne Marie) Harbert of Lake Murrey S.C. Michael (Claudette) Harbert of McKeesport, Dante Harbert of Irwin, sisters Robin Anderson of Wagner S.C. and Sharon (Chad) Snowdon of Myrtle Beach S.C. Elmer was preceded in death by his sister Bonnie Carter Harbert and grandchild Cameron Houser. Elmer was a graduate of McKeesport High School and worked as a commercially licensed truck driver and served in the Army. He enjoyed visiting parks and most of all enjoyed spending time with his son and grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Sunday March 14th, 2021 at E.C.
