Lawrence "Larry" Edward Bjornberg, 89, of Elizabeth Township, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016. He was born April 22, 1927 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Harry and Emma Gernhardt Bjornberg. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in McKeesport, White Oak American Legion Post 701, the Syria Shriners , Scottish Rite, Caravan No. 20, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Al-O-Mon Forrest 138, Masonic Veterans, Knights of Mecca Past Masters Club and the Duquesne-McKeesport F & AM Lodge # 731 where he was a Past Master. Larry was a WWII US Navy Veteran serving on board the USS Macon and was retired from US Steel Duquesne Works.
