Darrell was an endurance athlete and an avid outdoorsman enjoying Mountain biking, fishing, Kayaking, he also was a craft beer enthusiast, and an excellent cook. Darrell was a longtime Trail steward with White Oak Park and the Allegheny Land Trust. He retired with 29 years of service to the Allegheny County Health Dept Air Quality Control Division.

Nicolas (Alyssa) Shelley, Devin and Brady Novack and Kendall, Logan and Kayla Dudley.
She just recently became a great-grandmother to sweet baby girl Ryley Shelley and was anxiously anticipating the arrival of her first precious great-grandson Kolsyn Novack.

He is also survived by his daughter Jody (Ronald) Kotun of Champion, PA, and Tierra Verde, FL, and Gene David (Abby) Dandrea of Murrysville, PA.
