Pamela S. Van Ryn, 63, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  She was born May 13, 1957 in Homestead, daughter of the late Robert and Gerri (McClintock) Thomas.  Pam was a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School Class of 75 and a member of Norwin Christian Church.  She was the best mom and grandma and loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed gardening and loved sunflowers.  She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert Van Ryn; daughters, Hanna Burke and her husband, Pat, Marissa Donahoe and her husband, Tom; brothers, Robert D. Thomas Jr. and William Thomas; grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Josephine, Porter and Wyatt.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Badstibner, 74, of Irwin passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at her home.  She was born July 16, 1946 in California, a daughter of the late William and Anna (Rupert) McDonald.  Jeneanne was a graduate of McKeesport High School and enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Badstibner.  She is survived by her daughter, Christine Badstibner; grandchildren, Stephanie, Lashayia, Eryka, Joshua, Erick, Nathan, Lyndzey, Tyrell, Tyrese, Kiara, Emoney; great-grandchildren, Chase, Sincere, Amorie, Aziah, Rydon, Shyne, Si'Niyah, Stormie, Sy'Air, Nashawn; brothers, Paul McDonald, Billy McDonald; sisters, Eileen Brown, Kathy Roethlein, Lorraine Popovich and Virginia Schaffer.  There will be no visitation.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 27 at 2 PM at The Norwin Alliance Church, 10585 Farview Drive, North Huntingdon.  Arrangements made by the James W. Walker, 88, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at her home.  She was born January 15, 1933 in McKeesport, a daughter of Raymond W. and Agnes (Wakefield) Harris.  Joan was employed by Norwin Veterinary Hospital and G. C. Murphy Co. Home Office in McKeesport.  She was a member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church, previously Christ United Presbyterian Church, were she was an Elder, Deacon Sunday school teacher and secretary.  She was past president of the Markvue Manor Woman's Club, past president of Friends of the Norwin Public Library Board of Directors, member of the Women of the Moose Irwin Chapter #171, North Huntingdon Civilian Police Academy and AARP #3221 North Huntingdon.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Walker.  She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Stypula and her husband, Steven; sons, Stuart Walker and his wife, Laurel, Timothy Walker and his wife, Alice; grandsons, Bradley (Katie) and Brian Walker, Harrison Stypula, Adam and Benjamin Walker.

Versailles and enjoyed playing Bingo, visiting casinos and making crafts.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack S. Dunlap, second husband, Daniel C. Gruber; great-grandson, Timothy Gordon; brothers, Ernie and Larry Zugaro; sisters, Anna Marie Gerison and Elizabeth Deak.  She is survived by her son, Jack Dunlap and his wife, Colleen; daughters, Gina Dunlap, Lisa Sinclair and her husband, William, Rhonda Beaufort and her husband, Gary; brother, Angelo Zugaro; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was a graduate of the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1959, an Elder and parish nurse at New Hope Presbyterian Church, manager of the I.V. Team Jefferson and McKeesport Hospitals, and president and past president of L.I.T.E - League of Intravenous Therapy Education. 

She enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World and liked to bake and cook.

Kettren.  David was a Staff Sergeant with the US Army Reserves, worked at Westinghouse Electric, and was an honorary member of the NIVFC.  He enjoyed fishing, watching old western movies, and spending time with his family.  Surviving are his wife, of 53 years, Sonnet (Lee) Kettren; children, Pamela (David) DePalma of Ruffs Dale, David A. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a Registered Nurse by both Redstone Highlands, Greensburg and Riverside Care Center. She enjoyed birds, gardening, and Pittsburgh sports teams.

Later she was employed by the Salvation Army, North Huntingdon. She enjoyed embroidery and crafting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny and Bernard Kolesar; and sister, Rose Mizak. Evelyn L. (Swank) Pennington departed this world to meet her Heavenly Father on March 5, 2021, after 86 years. She was born December 1, 1934 to the late Daniel and Stella (Painter) Swank.  In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Pennington, in 2013; son, Bruce Pennington; grandson, D. “Bud” Flinner; and all of her many siblings- Helen Trent, Ethel Cochran, Donna Kelley, and Daniel Swank.  She leaves behind three children- Debbie (Stan) Flinner, Darlene Pennington, and Dave Pennington; as well as granddaughter Nikki Flinner, and many nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at both Golden Heights Personal Care Home and Transitions Health Care, as well as her hospice team for the kindness and compassion they showed Evelyn in her final days.  At her request, there will be no public viewing; and a private interment will be held. Robert M. Morris

Robert M. Morris, 90, of North Huntingdon, passed peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021.

Bob is deeply missed by his wife of 57 years, Agnes (Minnaji) Morris, daughter Susan M. Morris and husband William H. Maruca, two cherished grandchildren Julia and Jack Maruca of Wexford, and son Greg Morris of Irwin.

Bob was born July 21, 1930 in Youngwood to the late John William and Stella May (Fox) Morris. Bob served in Company B, 179th Infantry Regiment of the US Army during the Korean Conflict, most notably the summer of 1953 campaign. He was a tractor trailer driver and very proud of his safe driving record with B&P Motor Freight and United Parcel Service. Bob was active with Teamsters Local 30 and served on various committees.
