William James Petro, age 66 of Plum Borough, died Thursday, April 27, 2017. He was born on September 11, 1950 in McKeesport and is the son on the Late John W. and Ruth Hughes Petro. He served in the Navy and retired from the former Perkin Elmer Corporation. He also enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar and piano.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Petro of North Braddock; son, Justin Petro of Penn Hills; brothers, Jack (Nancy) Petro of White Oak, Daniel (Deborah) Petro of McKeesport; sisters, Karen (John) Cargill of Sebastian, Florida, Kim (John) Kovac of Bethel Park, Tracey Hobson of McKeesport, Terri Cain of Turtle Creek, Allison (Raymond) Frankoski of Penn Hills, Melissa (Louis) Biscardo of Peters Twp; ex-wife, Sandy Petro of North Braddock; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Monday May 1st from 10:30 am until the time of service at 12:30 pm.
