Phyllis G. White, 82, of Duquesne died Nov. 15, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gertrude (Eichler) White. She is survived y her brothers Ralph K. White of Santa Clarita, CA and Douglas B. White of Huntington, WV; nieces and nephews Darlene (Phil) Johnson of Santa Clarita, CA, Diane (Dave) Baergen of Union Springs, WI, Sherry White of Huntington, WV, Beth Wiebe of Hooker, OK, Ken (Nancy) White of West Des Moines, IA and many great nieces and nephews. Phyllis was retired from Westinghouse Bettis Plant; was a member of First Christian Church in McKeesport where she worked with the children's program. She loved her pets and was the best aunt to her nieces and nephews and later to their extended families. Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, on Thurs. from 7 to 9. A funeral service will be held Fri. 10:00 am at the First Christian Church in McKeesport with Ray Beard. Interment following Restland Memorial Park.

Mary Ellen Netzel, 66 of Sewickley, formerly of West Mifflin died October 30, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Edward "Buck" and Margaret (Hudosky) Conboy. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles J. Netzel III for nearly 43 years, and her brother Timothy Conboy. Roger Cosgrove was born February 18, 1937 in Cambridge, Ohio. The youngest of the late Russell and Irene Cosgrove. Roger grew up in Dravosburg before meeting his beloved wife of 62 years and residing in West Mifflin. He was retired from the US Steel Homestead Works and Monzacks Auto Service. In his free time he enjoyed crafting cars, buildings, and other items from cereal boxes that always impressed his family and friends. Roger is survived by his Wife Marney (Lucas) Cosgrove, his Daughters Tracy Decarlo and Kelly Linn, his Grandchildren Leeanne Carlucci and Bill Smollen to whom he raised, and his dog Clyde. Roger passed away peacefully knowing that his family was with him and will always remember the impact he left on all of there lives. He was 83. Per his wishes a private service will be held. Dorothy M. Petrosky, 90, of Duquesne died Wednesday October 7, 2020. She is the daughter of the late George and Mary Hromanik. She is survived by cousin and caretaker Jerry (Debbie) Kostelnik; sister-in-law Wynne Hromanik; niece Tracy Hromanik; nephew Paul Hromanik; great-nieces, nephews, and other cousins. Dorothy was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Duquesne Women's Club. Friends received Friday from 1-6pm at the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne. A funeral service will be held Saturday 11am in the funeral home with Pastor John Gropp. Interment following Mckeesport-Versailles Cemetery.

Edward Fredrick Unterseher, 78, of North Versailles (formerly of Duquesne), passed away peacefully at home on September 24 , 2020. He is the son of the late Edward and Ariona Wagner Unterseher. He is survived by his daughter Dawn (Paul) Kogut; son Edward (Gale) Unterseher; siblings Kathleen (Stanley) Kilsdonk, Ellis (Helen) Unterseher, and Norman (Janet) Unterseher; step-grandson Ricky (Krystal) Martinelli and great-grandson Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Theresa, and brothers LeRoy and Dallas. Edward was born Dec. 27, 1941 in Hazen, North Dakota, raised in Fairview, Montana, and graduated from Fairview High School in 1960. He served in the Navy aboard the USS Great Sitkin, an ammunition carrier, from Jan. 1961 to Jan. 1965. He often recalled his service in the Mediterranean Sea region. Edward met the love of his life, Theresa Loveland, on a blind date while he was on leave. They married in 1967 and settled in Duquesne. Edward was a member of St. Joseph Church in Duquesne and worked for Westinghouse Air Brake Co. for more than 30 years. Edward loved visiting family, taking road trips around the country, fishing, and watching horse racing and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Friends receieved Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 at the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne. Funeral blessing will be held Wednesday 11am at the funeral home. Interment following St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin.

Helen S. Holko died peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2020, a daughter of the late Fred and Ann Semko originally from Rankin, Pa. She is the wife of the late Stephen A. Holko, Sr. and is survived by daughters Diane (Tom) Stanesic and Mary Ellen (Donny) Minchoff and sons Stephen A. (Judith) Holko, Jr., David (Karen) Holko and John (Kim) Holko. In addition, she is survived by her granddaughters Jennifer, Jackie, Becky, Jessica, Tara, Janeace, Paula, Amy and Stephanie and grandsons Todd and John, Jr. Helen was also blessed with 19 great grandchildren. Anthony "Sonny" L. Wiatrowski, 81, of West Mifflin, died June 20, 2020. He is the son of the late Antoni and Minnie (Lasczynski) Wiatrowski and husband of the late Mary Jane (Ashbaugh) Wiatrowski. Gertrude Dietz Ferris, of Houston, Texas, died on Monday, June 15, 2020, at the age of at 99. She passed away in peace and at the time of her death was surrounded by her loving family. Gertrude was born Sept. 12, 1920, to Peter and Anna Dietz in Kersey, Pa. She was one of 10 children and had four sisters and five brothers. She grew up on her family’s farm and continued to return to Kersey, every summer for the remainder of her life. She enjoyed visiting her many nephews, nieces and cousins in Elk County, Pa. Gertrude was a graduate of Kersey High School and married William on Nov. 27 1941. She passed the war years in Kersey, with her first son, William. Gertrude later lived in Ford City, Natrona and Brackenridge, Pa., before moving to Columbia, Mo., to be near her second son, Stephen. Later she moved to Houston, Texas, where she lived for the remainder of her life close to her eldest son, William. While in Houston, she was able to visit with her many great-grandchildren. Gertrude was married for 61 years to William Ferris, who preceded her in death in 2002. She had four children: William (Delores), Suzanne, Stephen (Madonna) and Gregory (Karen). She has three grandchildren: William Ferris, Stephen Ferris and Raymond Ferris. She has five great-grandchildren: Ashley Ferris, William Ferris, Michael Ferris, Kira Ferris and Zachary Ferris. Gertrude loved to play bingo and was a regular at it. She had a green thumb and could grow practically anything. Her home was always filled with various plants and flowers. She was a long-term member of St. Joseph Parish in Natrona, Pa., and was active in its many events. Her life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Natrona Heights. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Cemetery in Brackenridge, Pa., next to her husband, William, and her daughter, Suzanne. Deborah Baxley, 67, of McKeesport died May 13, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Alfred and Edith (Hill) Kremer and beloved wife of the late Joseph Baxley. Linda Desmond, 64, of Roaring Spring, PA passed away Monday May 11th at Homewood in Martinsburg, PA. She was born in McKeesport, PA and was the daughter of the late Robert Salopek and the late Barbara Stromp. She married Gary Desmond on July 30, 1977 at Resurrection Church in West Mifflin, PA. Surviving are her loving husband, Gary and son Matthew of Roaring Spring, PA and daughter Jennifer (fiancé Daniel Burket) of Claysburg, PA. She was a 1974 graduate of Duquesne High School, Duquesne, PA. She had retired from driving a school bus with E&D busing for the Spring Cove School District. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, reading, playing games on her computer, going to the casino, and the golden retrievers she has had over the years. Due to restrictions the family will try to accommodate visitors. Private interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Mifflin, PA.
