Allene Currie, 100 of West Mifflin, died Aug. 5, 2019.  She is the beloved wife of the late Henry M. Currie, Sr.  Allene is survived by her children Carol Elaine Spencer, Henry McKinley Currie, Jr and Barbara (Kate) Currie Brown and was preceded in death by 15 siblings.  She was a former member of the Church of the Living God in Duquesne and volunteered at the Salvation Army.  Friends will be received at the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne on Thur., Aug. 8, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8.  A funeral service will be held Fri., Aug. 9, 2019 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Barbara DeBruce officiating.  Interment following at the Holy Name Cemetery.

Paulette L. Kensky, 95, of West Mifflin, died June 11, 2019.  Born Jan. 13, 1924 in Beauvois, France to Albert Alexandre Carpentier and Marthe Geogette Fastrelle.  She was preceded in death by her husband John and son Jean Francoise and is survived by daughters Paulette Eddy and MaryAnn Griffith and her loving cat Morris; grandchildren Lori, Paula, Gina and Colette; also numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She met her husband to be in Paris when he was stationed with the Army Air Corp. in 1944, 2 years later she was finally allowed to enter the United States after one month on an army shipt to arrive at Ellis Island.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Fri. from 10:00 am to Noon, at which time a funeral blessing will be held with Father Tom Lewandowski.  Interment following St. Joseph Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "In Care of Cats" in Elizabeth, Pa.

James W. Thompson, 72, of Brentwood formerly of West Mifflin, died Friday May 31, 2019. He is the son of the late Adam and Catherine (McWilliams) Thompson. He is survived by his daughter Megan Thompson; brother A. Russell (Nancy) Thompson; nephews Sean (Kris) Thompson and Brian (Adrienne) Thompson; and 4 great-nephews Adam, Alexander, Maxwell, and Gavin. James was a member of the St. Andrew's Society of Pittsburgh. A memorial service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Park on Saturday June 29th at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, and St. Jude's.

Revers, 70 of North Huntingdon, passed away suddenly May 19, 2019.  He is the  son of the late Stanley and Margaret Revers.  He is survived by his wife, whom he adored, Rose (Puhala) Revers; beloved daughter Melanie Lang; mother-in-law Irene Puhala; brothers Stan and Robert Revers; sister Darlene Revers; also nieces and nephews.  Ron was preceded in death by brother Gene Revers and sisters Dolly Iovino and Carol Kolano.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Wed. from 4 to 7.  A funeral blessing will take place Wed. at 6:30 pm with Father Tom Lewandowski. MacLean, 80, of West Mifflin died April 24, 2019.  She is the daughter of the late Edwin and Kathryn Casaldi.  She is survived by her daughters Catherine (Jeff) Colvin and Denise (Harold) Record; sons John (Krista) MacLean and Nicholas (Janell) Yukich; sisters Saundra (Ed) Gueth, Nancy (Charlie) Bisel and Carolyn (Bob) Algeri; brother Edwin Casaldi; also grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son Roderick "Ricky" MacLean, Jr.  Beverly was retired from Kane Hospital as a CNA and was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish.  Friends will be received at the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Fri. Alexander "Al" Kalin died Sunday, April 14, 2019. Beloved husband of Sandy Kalin (nee Scurle) for 53 years; dear brother of Elizabeth (the late Thomas) Denny; dear uncle of Jennifer (Dale) Conklin and Christopher (Jackie) Denny; dear great-uncle of Norah and Oscar; our dear cousin and friend to many. Al was a 1st Lt. Army in Korea during the Cuban missile crisis. He sang in many choirs, played golf as an excuse to get breakfast, taught confirmation classes for over 35 years, loved theater, opera and symphony. He supported the Art Museum, History Museum, Botanical Gardens, Science Center, St. Louis Zoo, Missouri Historical Society, Opera Theater St. Louis, Winter Opera, Metropolitan Opera and the St. Louis Symphony. Loved animals especially his 6 Wheatens and Kitty. He attended Mt. Airy Seminary in Pennsylvania. He loved to travel and made it to 49 out of 50 states. He was a longtime employee of Huntington Alloys part of International Nickel and retired from Special Metals.

Karos, 95, of West Mifflin, died March 11, 2019.  She is the daughter of the late Jovo and Anna (Relich) Karos.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers John, Michael, George and Rudolph Karos and sisters Mildred Korach, Anna Wilhelm and Olga Karos.  She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Elizabeth was a member of Holy Spirit Church.  A funeral mass will be held Wed., March 13, 2019, 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Church.  Interment following St. Sava's Cemetery, Castle Shannon.  Funeral arrangements by Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne.

Harriet M. George, of Bedford formerly of North Huntingdon, died March 5, 2019. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Bernard George; children Dale (Beth) Carnahan of North Huntingdon, Toni Shipers of Sutersville, and Chris Carnahan of Port Jefferson, NY; stepchildren Bernie (Julie) George Jr. and Lori (Erik Pettersen) Smith; grandchildren Ashley (Jeff) Downey, Brianna Carnahan, Haley Carnahan, Corey Carnahan, Dylan Carnahan, Michael George, Michelle (Ryan) Delgizzi, and Matthew George; great-grandchildren Emma and Grace Downey, and Finn and Kai Delgizzi; brothers Harry Worrall and Harold (Alexis) Worrall; sister Bertha Lithgow; and nephew Jeff (Tawsha) Worrall. Carolyn Jean (Wiland) Mihaljevic

Carolyn Jean (Wiland) Mihaljevic, beloved wife of the late Joseph Edward Mihaljevic, went home to the Lord February 27, 2019.  She was a resident of Fairport, New York, spent her winters in Jensen Beach, Florida and formerly a long-time resident of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania.   Born May 4, 1933, she was the loving daughter of the late Dorothy Pearl (Morris) Wiland and Norman Russell Wiland and sister of the late Donald Wayne Wiland.  Carolyn is survived by her loving children Joseph (Michele) Mihaljevic, Linda (Michael) Bogesdorfer, Kathy (Andy) Mosso, Richard (Lorrie) Mihaljevic, Thomas (Mary) Mihaljevic, and James (Elizabeth) Mihaljevic; also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Carolyn lived a full life as a wonderful, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her most prized possession was her family and loved travelling for visits, handing down cooking recipes and lessons to create a treasure chest of memories. In her spare time she loved to crochet, cook, travel, read and do puzzles.

She was an active participant at the Perinton Senior Recreation Center exercise programs, crochet club and senior choir. Carolyn was a member of the Church of the Assumption Catholic Church in Fairport, NY where she participated in the Sunday breakfast club, and the card ministry - writing cards to those in need of words of encouragement. 

Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Sun., March 10, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8.  A funeral blessing will be held Mon., March 11, 2019 10:30 am in the funeral home with Father Tom Lewandowski.  Interment following St. Joseph Cemetery.

Margaret A. Conboy, 91, of Economy, formerly of West Mifflin, died peacefully Feb. 24, 2019. Margaret was a 1946 graduate of Duquesne High School and attended Douglas Business College. She spent most of her life as a loving mother and homemaker. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia (Kaluznak) Hudosky and beloved wife of the late Edward "Buck" Conboy Jr. She is survived by daughters Mary Ellen (Charles) Netzel of Franklin Park and Laura (Robert) Kahler of Economy; granddaughters Carolyn (Sam) Wolf of Silver Spring, MD and Christine Kahler of New York, NY; great-granddaughter Alice Jean Wolf; also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her cherished son Timothy Conboy; sisters Alice Libak, Ann Adams, and Agnes Janhunen, and brothers Joseph and John Hudosky. Friends received Schellhaas Funeral Home, 1600 Stone Mansion Dr. Sewickley PA 15143 Sun. 2-4 and 6-8. A funeral mass will be held Mon. 10am at Saints John & Paul Roman Catholic Parish. Valentine W. Kruszka, Jr., 99, of West Miffflin, died Feb. 21, 2019.  He is the husband of the late Mary (Byrtus) Kruszka.  He is survived by his daughters Pat (Larry) Pierce of Liberty Boro and Sandy (Bob) Watson of Jefferson Hills; sons David Kruszka of Glassport, Alan Kruszka of West Mifflin and Val Kruszka of Greenock; grandchildren Lisa, Kenneth and Bryan Pierce, Nancy Szinai, Kimberly Kruszka, Billy Valiquette and Marcy Templeton;  sister Wanda Buri and 11 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by daughters Andrea Teoli and Ginny Dzara.  Val was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish; American Legion and Polish Club in Bentleville and the Italian Club.  He served in the US Army WWII, where he was a prisoner of war.  He served in the Battles at Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Ardennes.  He received the Good Conduct Medal European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with 4 Bronze Stars.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Sun. from Noon to 4.  A funeral mass will be held Mon. 10:00 am at St. Hedwig Church with Father Tom Lewandowski.  Interment following St. Hedwig Cemetery.
