Donald G. Berger, 59, of East McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was born July 26, 1959 in Munhall, a son of Donald A. Berger and the late Mary Elizabeth “Liz” (Cerda) Berger. He was a former employee of 5 S Components Inc., East McKeesport, and a member and elder at Linway United Presbyterian Church, North Versailles, where he had also served as the church secretary. He was a fan of 60’s era entertainment, enjoyed bowling, karaoke, and he had a good sense of humor. Donald was a devoted husband and proud father. He is survived by his wife Kathleen A. “Kathy” (Morgan) Berger and his daughter Jessica E. Berger both of East McKeesport; his sister Diana M. (Jim) Smith of West Mifflin; nieces and nephews including Deborah Smith and special thank you Jimmy Smith for his special assistance and care; mother in law Dolores Morgan; brothers and sisters in law Cindy (Marty) Busija, Rick (Shari) Morgan, Sally Rettger (Jeff Conte), and Patty (Sean) Marks.

Lester M. Dolton Jr., 86, of Murrysville, passed away Wednesday January 16, 2019. He was born May 26, 1932 in Clairton, a son of the late Lester M Dalton Sr. and Emma (Adams) Dalton. Lester is an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired electrician for U.S. Steel, Clairton Works. He was a member of Holiday Park United Methodist Church and the Junior Order of United American Mechanics where he held various local, state, and national offices. He had a love and passion for bowling, participating in five bowling leagues, one of which he started 50 years ago. He was bowling only weeks before his passing. Lester had a great love of and faith in the Lord. He loved everyone he met and in return was loved by many. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Janet (Crownover) Dolton; son Brian Dolton; son-in-law Keith Ferrington Sr., and brother Ronald Dolton. He is survived by his children Bonnie Ferrington of Murrysville, Sherri (Mark) Ward of Colorado, Randy (Judy) Dolton of Latrobe, Janet (Robert) Allan of North Huntingdon, and Renee Dolton of Myrtle Beach; daughter-in-law Vickey Dolton of Smithton; 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; siblings June Betzner of Elizabeth, David Dolton of McKeesport, Donna Stewart of Elizabeth, Larry Dalton of Liberty Boro, and Gary Dalton of Fayette City; also nieces and nephews.

Ken retired from U.S. Steel Research Center, Monroeville, and had worked for U.S. Steel for forty years. He was a member of Miller United Methodist Church, North Versailles and a former volunteer for Meals On Wheels. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Viola “Vi” (Rowley) Hensler; his sons Kenny C. Hensler and his wife Shellie of Kennedy Township and Raymond G. Hensler and his wife Kathy of Cranberry Township; his grandchildren Matthew (wife Sara), Kelly, Michael, Brad, and Rachel Hensler; his sister Rita Marrow of East McKeesport; also nieces and nephews.

Gerald T. Dempsey Sr., age 93, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019. He was a World War II Navy veteran that completed an extensive course in timepiece repair that set him up for his future work and helped him with repairing friend's time pieces. He retired after over 42 years as an instrument repairman at the Edgar Thompson Works in Braddock. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and spend time in the outdoors. He always looked forward to traveling to Georgia in the summers with his wife to buy and restore antiques with his father-in-law for his resale shop. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 43 years Viona "Vi" Dempsey; parents; and many brothers. He is survived by his children Gerald Dempsey Jr. of Bellingham, Washington, Eleanor Dempsey of Youngwood, Norma McCarthy of Greensburg and Philip (Colleen) Dempsey of Blairsville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; Brother Howard; and sisters Betty and Janet.

Douglas Keith Roberts, 64, of Manor, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. He was born January 15, 1954 in Pittsburgh, a son of late William and Virginia (Walder) Roberts. Doug was a 1971 graduate of Norwin High School where he was an all-star wrestler and was later inducted into the Norwin Hall of Fame. Prior to his retirement he was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 66. Doug will be remembered for his patience, good sense of humor, and quick wit. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey; and father in-law Dennis Hearn. William T. Snodgrass, 77, of North Huntingdon, died Wednesday December 26, 2018. He was born February 25, 1941 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Raymond E. and Erna (Morgan) Snodgrass and was also preceded in death by a brother Raymond “Eddie” Snodgrass. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy (Hughes) Snodgrass; three children, Allen (Beth) Snodgrass of Royersford, Susan (Mark) Petti of Margate City, NJ, and Jeremy (Julie) Snodgrass of Wilmington, NC; six beloved grandchildren, Bethany, Zachary, Morgan, Rachael, Jessica, and Jayden; and a sister Lovella Burns of Waynesburg. Bill was a 1959 graduate of Waynesburg High School and a 1963 graduate of Waynesburg College. He taught Science in the Penn Hills School district for 30 years, retired, and continued his teaching career at St. Colman School in Turtle Creek for 12 years. He was an avid wrestler in both high school and college and officiated wrestling in the WPIAL for many years.

Clifford E. Denton Jr., age 91, of North Versailles, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018. He was born July 11, 1927 in New York City, a son of the late Clifford and Sharon (Fogarty) Denton. He served in the Marines during World War II and started his career in the newspaper business working for the New York Daily News. He was bureau chief for Stars and Stripes in Saigon during the Vietnam War and afterwards spent many years living in Japan. After retiring from the newspaper industry, he worked in the Department of Aging for the State of Pennsylvania. He loved sailing, playing the piano and sharing stories with friends and loved ones.

Michael Angelo Iannace, 57, from Irwin, PA, sadly passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018. Mike was the Controller and Purchasing Manager for Lexport LLC, an import/export company that he owned with his wife Lety. When Mike retired from the Nuclear Division of Westinghouse a few years ago, he was asked to continue to work as an independent contractor when they needed him for special projects. He previously was the owner/operator of Ianno’s Pizza in Port Vue and worked at Kopp Glass in Swissvale for 14 years. Mike enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time traveling the world on many family vacations and on business trips with his wife. Mike played in a senior softball league in Irwin.

(Young) Vincent and was also preceded in death by his wife of over 63 years, Mildred A. (Schwan) Vincent and a sister Mary Vincent.  Bill was a retired cost analysist for Westinghouse Electric Corp., East Pittsburgh for 42 years and a former tax associate for H & R Block for 38 years.  He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon, and at one time active with Boy Scout Troop #85.  He enjoyed square dancing, ballroom dancing and roller skating.  He is survived by his children Anne Marie (Craig) Mollon of NY, Mary Catherine (John) Harris of MD, William M. (Louise) Vincent Jr. of VA, and Jean L. (Thomas) Zelmore of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren William M. (Dariela) Vincent III, Mark (Ingrid) Harris, Kate (Nicholas) Block, and Cynthia Zelmore; and his great grandchildren William M. IV, Carmen, and Theodore Vincent.
