Alan G. Reese, 92, formerly of Irwin, died Saturday August 25, 2018. He was born August 1, 1926 in Homestead, the son of the late George and Alice G. (Rogers) Reese. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana Teachers College. He retired as an electrical draftsman/technical illustrator for Westinghouse Electric Corp., East Pittsburgh. Alan was a member of West Hempfield Presbyterian Church, the Greensburg Art Center, and was a former member of Strawpump VFD. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Betty May (Thomas) Reese; his children Nancy Reese of Pittsburgh, Thomas Reese (Sara) of Cortez, CO, and Steven Reese (Louise) of Bethel Park; his grandchildren, Reese McArdle, Tessa McArdle, Caitlyn Reese Duran (Mo), Dylan Reese, and Maxwell Reese and great granddaughter Ellie Duran.

William R. Waugaman, 82, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday August 23, 2018. He was born March 7, 1936 in North Irwin, a son of the late William and Blanche (Ralph) Waugaman and was also preceded in death by siblings Es Fohner, George Rain, Russell Rain, and Loretta Waugaman. Bill was a fifty year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker’s, Local #5 and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Irwin. He was a life member of Irwin Sportsman’s Club and liked to hunt and fish. He was a NASCAR fan and a Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Valerie M. (Lakatosh) Waugaman; his children Jodi L. Supko and her husband Jerome and Chad W. Sandra “Sandy” A. (Sheesley) Novak, age 61, of East McKeesport passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018. She was born October 19, 1956 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Gifford “Bud” and Barbara Sheesley. She worked for over eight years as a cashier at the Dollar General in North Versailles. She is survived by her husband of over 42 years David E. Novak; son David E. Novak Jr. of East McKeesport; sisters Robin (Honalee Harrington) Sheesley of Durham, North Carolina, Bonnie Story of Madison, Wisconsin and Darlene (George) Batch of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Charlotte Rae (Whitaker) Evans, 89, of Derry, formerly of Trafford, passed peacefully Friday August 10, 2018, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born May 16, 1929 in Wall, a daughter of the late Charles Roy and Edith Mae (Miller) Whitaker and was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph F. Evans. Charlotte was a former cook for LaDonne Restaurant, North Huntingdon and was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Latrobe, the Theological Society of East McKeesport, and was a longtime volunteer for at the Grapeville VFD Gun Bash. She was a former active Girl Scout Leader while living in Illinois. She is survived by her children Faye D. Villa-James and her husband Ken of Cavittsville and Charles S. Evans and his wife Sandra Niehl of Turtle Creek; her grandchildren Kenneth (Vickie) James of Latrobe, Bethany A. James of Avalon David K. (Ashley) James of Greensburg Darlene F. (Chris) Fiasco of Monroeville, Alan Kunkle of Turtle Creek, and Anna (Aaron) Gabor also of Turtle Creek; her great grandchildren Michael C. and Matthew J. James of Latrobe, Autumn Gabor of Pitcairn Robert Kunkle of Washington state, Andrew Kunkle of New Kensington, Tyler Gabor of Pitcairn, and Brandon and Delana Gabor of Turtle Creek; and has been blessed with three great great grandchildren living in Washington state; siblings Robert A. Robert S. "Rob" McKinley, age 46, of Pittsburgh and Bedford PA, unexpectedly passed away on his farm on August 6, 2018. He was born December 1971 in Reading PA, son of Judy (Jenny) McKinley and the late Robert “Bob” McKinley, grandson of Goldie and the late Walter “Bud” McKinley, and the late Jack and Mary Rose Jenny. He graduated from Norwin Senior High School in the class of ’90. While attending various colleges, he was making a name for himself as a young entrepreneur, having ran and/or owned multiple businesses by his 30’s. Most recently, Rob was working at Hydro Extrusions North America as a Senior Business Analyst. He was a member of the Bedford Elks, and a supporter of the Bedford PA Humane Society. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, collecting antique furniture, and driving fast cars. He was a caring, outgoing, and energetic man who was loved by many and will be missed by all. Rob is survived by his wife and partner of 23 years, Allison White-McKinley; his mother Judy McKinley; his sisters, Heather Grove and her husband, Don Grove, of Johnson City, TN, Kathleen McKinley and her partner, Nathan Botti, of Herminie, PA, and his brother Patrick “Butch” McKinley and fiancé Patricia Schuler of Dormont, PA; six beloved nieces and nephews; and his loving dog, Daisy.
