Dale F. Edwards, Jr., age 47, of Wilmerding, died October 2, 2016, at UPMC East. Born October 6, 1968, in Wilkinsburg, he was the son of Dale F. and the late Joanne E. (Lovett) Edwards, Sr.
Dale worked as a sales representative. He enjoyed collecting coins and genealogy, but his true passion was caring for his children.
In addition to his father, Dale is survived by his children, Ashley Marie and Dale F., III both of Versailles; siblings, Kim (Artie) Williams of Turtle Creek, Dana Edwards of Turtle Creek, Amber (Dan) Terza of North Versailles and Jennifer (Lou) Cortazzo of Penn Twp.; many nieces and nephews.

Annie B. Bias, age 78, of Latrobe, died on September 30, 2016, in Greensburg. Born December 17, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Martha (Dillon) Lucas and the wife of the late James Martin Bias.
Annie is survived by her children, Jerri (Tom) Tedesco, Terri (Mike) Ravetto, Sherri (Nelson) Reese, James (Deb Penrose) and Leonard (Polly Yeaher); 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Hazel Vulgris.

Robert S. “Bob” Harper, age 85, of West Mifflin, died October 1, 2016, at UPMC McKeesport. Born September 20, 1931, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Septimus and Elizabeth (Weaver) Harper and the husband of Shirley (Morgan) Harper, for over 60 years.
Bob was retired from the Bechtel Bettis, Inc., in West Mifflin. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and the Amvets Post # 8, where he served as past commander. He enjoyed Pittsburgh sports, college football and traveling with his wife.

Bud was a retired union carpenter and a 58 year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 230.

Zora D. Stevens age 83 of McKeesport died on Saturday September 10, 2016. She was born on February 3, 1933 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late George and Sophie Mudrich Mrvos. Zora was the wife of the late James W. Stevens who died on January 17, 2004. She is survived by her son Dale Z. Stevens of McKeesport, 4 grandchildren ; Dejan (Andrea) Stevens of McKeesport, Tijana (Dr. Daniel) Kopolovich of Texas, Sofija and Dale Stevens both of McKeesport, great granddaughter Daryn Stevens and Nora on the way, sisters; Mildred (the late Lou) Popovich of Rankin, Georgeann (the late Steve) Klipa of Monroeville, George "Judi" (Gladys) Mrvos of White Oak and her boy Tank and many nieces and nephews.

Ken retired from Bechtel Bettis, Inc., in West Mifflin, PA. He was a US Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the former St. Joseph Church, in Duquesne, PA. Ken had a passion for history and loved politics.

Albert A. Hopton, Jr., age 70, of Christy Park, died Sept. 6, 2016, at John J. Kane Regional Center. Born April 4, 1946, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Albert Sr. and Betty (Litchfield) Hopton.
Albert was a former mill pourer at U.S. Steel Duquesne Works. He was a member of the former American Legion Post #361 in McKeesport. Albert enjoyed duck-pin bowling, playing bingo and taking trips with his family and friends at the legion. He was a beloved brother and uncle.

Born June 29, 1925 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (Ott) Clark and the wife of the late Christ “Swede” Hansen. During Ethel's 91 years of life she expressed the love of animals, music and dancing to rock-n-roll. She gifted these passions onto her children. She especially enjoyed feeding the birds and welcomed it as a daily ritual.

Regis T. “Rege” McLaughlin, age 82, of McKeesport, died August 23, 2016, at Family Hospice in Mt. Lebanon. Born January 15, 1934, in Clairton, he was the son of the late Catherine (McLaughlin) Reynolds and the husband of the late Margaret (Baglos) McLaughlin.
Rege dedicated much of his life to serving his community. He was McKeesport’s mayor from 2010 to 2012; 13-year city council member and past council president from 2004 to 2009, past sewage authority chairman for many years, cofounder, coach and umpire of McKeesport Little League, with one of his teams in the Little League World Series.
