Allen Albert Teegarden, 75, of Glassport died Thursday March 26, 2020. He is the son of the late Frank and Mae Teegarden. He is survived by his children Carrie (Jay Hohman) Teegarden; Allen Albert (Michelle) Teegarden Jr.; grandchildren Travis Allen, Troy Allen, and Denne Teegarden; sisters Donna (Joe) Gazboda, Patty Clutter, Emily (Matt) Stasicha, and Carlyn (Denny) Dorcon; brothers Frank Teegarden and Gregory Teegarden; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Patricia L. Gardner, 82, of Glassport died Tuesday March 24, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Lawrence “Ed” and Edna Hysmith. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John “Jack” Gardner. Arlene P. Burgman, 86, of Glassport died Monday March 23, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Andrew and Gladys (Austin) George. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Burgman. Dorothy T. (Terek) Valencik, age 94, of Glassport, died February 28, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Yevchak) Terek. She is the beloved wife of the late Edward A. Valencik, “Mr V.”; children, Elaine (Samuel) DeMarco, Ron (Claudia) Valencik, Janine (Angelo Norelli) Valencik and Linda (Bob) Dzialowski; grandchildren, Emily (Dave) Kelly, Elise DeMarco, Julia (David) Callahan, Luke Urbanski, Zachery (Victoria Davis) Urbanski, Lauren Dzialowski, Megan Dzialowski, Erin Dzialowski and John Dzialowski; great-grandchildren, Hawthorne Kelly, Asher Kelly, Ailee Callahan, Dorothy Callahan, and Selah Callahan. The sixth of eight children, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward, and all siblings: Sister Mary Josephine VSC, John (Nancy) Terek, Helen (William) Ogurchak, Pauline (Michael) Hrehocik, Michael Terek, Mildred “Millie” (Joseph) Mongelluzzo and Frank Terek. Dorothy was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish, a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and bowled with the Glassport Women's Bowling League. Dorothy was an incredible baker and everyone loved her delicious Nut Rolls. Most of all, Dorothy dedicated her life to taking care of her family and she will be missed by everyone. Friends received at WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, Glassport, Sunday, 2 to 6. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Queen of the Rosary Church. Caroline M. Moranelli, 87, of Glassport died Feb. 19, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Tavalaro) Moranelli and is survived by her nieces Barbara Moranelli, with whom she resided, and Lisa Moranelli; also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Catherine Concel and Minnie Ponzo; brothers Frank Moranelli, Nick "Mutt" Moranelli and Ralph "Rossi" Moranelli and nephew James Ponzo, her longtime caretaker. Caroline worked at Immels, GC Murphy Company, Pater's Pharmacy and retired from Rite Aid in Glassport; was a graduate from St. Peters High School and was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish. Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Sat. from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at which time a funeral mass will be held at Queen of the Rosary with Father Wojcicki. Beverly J. (Smith) Parker, 71, of Glassport died Feb. 10, 2020. She is the daughter of Robert Brown and the late Doris E. Smith. Jean (Dabruzzo) Todaro age 87 of Glassport, died January 2,2020 at Presbyterian hospital. Born on October 24, 1932 in Glassport. Marie Truby Grantz, 92 of West Mifflin and a former Glassport resident of 47 years. Marie was born in Glassport May 13, 1927 to the late Frank C. and Elizabeth (Jenets) Truby. She was a 1945 graduate of Glassport High School. She retired after 21 years with Tygart Industries in payroll and accounting and stood her ground as her feisty self when questioned. Marie loved her garden of roses and tomatoes and her dark chocolate. As a member of the greatest generation she was very patriotic and would fly her flag for every holiday. She was truly an amazing women. Reunited in heaven, at last, are Marie Grantz and her beloved husband Bob. They had shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia L. Corey and son-in-law Daniel W. Corey. Her daughter was her best friend and became even closer after Bob’s passing. She is also survived by her loving nieces Joan (Jack) Jenkins; nephews John “Jack” (Susan) Truby and Richard “Rick” Truby; great nephews John Truby, Joshua Truby and Jeffrey Jenkins.

Angelo Guiseppe "Shoes" Schinosi passed peacefully at the Southwestern Veterans Center, on Monday, November 18, at age 88, of Glassport. Husband of Arlene (Shuster) Schinosi, father of Joe (Odile) Schinosi and Jodi (Jerry) Tyskiewicz. Grandfather to Kayla, Jake, Madeleine, Noelle, and Jean Luc. As well as an adoring uncle to many loving nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law to Donna Titus, Dee Schinosi, and Hank Bonadio. Preceded in death by his parents Luigi & Angelica (Pezzano) Schinosi, his brother Louis Schinosi, sisters Louise (Corky) Tacik, Viola (Robert) Lusa, and Josephine (Tony) Rondinelli. Angelo was a United States Marine and combat Korean War Veteran. Retired from the Copperweld Corp. and Allegheny County. During his time at the Copperweld he served as a union steward and president of his local union. He also served the Glassport community as a councilman. Angelo was an usher at St. Cecilia, a member of the Sons of Italy, and the American Legion. He will be remembered most by his love, kindness and generosity to family, friends, acquaintances, and animals. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire staff at the Southwestern Veterans Center for the past years. Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Queen of the Rosary on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11am. A celebration of his life will follow at the Sons of Italy, Glassport.
