Walter R. Wisniewski, 77, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021.  He was born October 27, 1943 in Glassport, a son of the late John and Helen Wisniewski.    Prior to his retirement, Walter was the owner/operator of Electral Tool & Die Co., a consultant with the Shaw Group and a member of St. Agnes Church.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was his grandchildren's #1 sports fan.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lana Miletti Wisniewski in March 2021. He is survived by  his son, Jason Wisniewski; daughters, Christine Mayersky and her husband, Timothy, and Holly Wisniewski; brother, John Wisniewski; grandchildren, Ava Wisniewski, Justin Mayersky, Brandon Mayersky and Aaron Mayersky.  Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Matthew M. Barna Jr., age 75, of Glassport, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital. He was a retired coiler for U.S. Steel Irvin Works and an avid sports fan who loved major league baseball, hockey and football. Born February 5, 1946 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Metro M. and Nettie (Boal) Barna. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ethel M. (Clawson) Barna; son, Richard T. Barna of Glassport; sisters, Marlene Murphy of Fredricksburg, VA and Christine Reynolds of White Oak; brother, Samuel (Robin) Barna of Monessen; also, nieces and nephews. Angelo J. Marraccini, age 90, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at ManorCare Health Services - Bethel Park. He was a retired welder for U.S. Steel/Hercules. He was a talented baseball player in his youth and was given the opportunity to try out for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a member of Blaine Hill Volunteer Fire Company and enjoyed many years of hunting and fly fishing with his sons, brothers, and friends, especially at the Blaine Hill Hunting Camp in Potter County. He was a master gardener and always had a beautiful, organic vegetable garden in his yard and often shared his produce with family and friends. Born July 19, 1930 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Angelo and Theresa (Yacomelli) Marraccini and husband of the late Sally (Bohlander) Marraccini. He is survived his sons, Darrell (Julie) Marraccini of Yeringyon, NV and Angelo J. Marraccini of Elizabeth, PA; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Joseph Pistell; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by daughter, C. René Marraccini Pistell, four brothers and a sister. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Monday, April 12, 2021, from 12-1 PM. Jerry Anthony Angotti, 82 of Clairton passed away on Tuesday April 6th, 2021 at his home. He was born in Clairton on February 20th, 1939 to the late John and Norma Swickert Angotti. Jerry was the loving husband of 62 years to Nancy L. Biddle Angotti. He is survived by his wife Nancy Angotti of Clairton, his sons Jerry (Pam) Angotti of Jefferson Boro, Boyd (Lori) Angotti of Milton W.V. his daughter Lisa Seiling of Clairton, grandchildren Rob, Jared, Dean, Jeremy, greatgrandchildren Dean, Blake, Mason, and his sister Jonette (Robert) Edkins of Pleasant Hills. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister Arlene Dellapenna. He was a member of the Living Hope Assembly of God Church in Clairton. He was a member of the U.S. Navy in Korea through 1956-1960 and worked as a Police Officer for the City of Clairton and worked as a Correctional Officer at West Penitentiary Prison. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to gun fairs and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. Eugene Lewis Woods, 92, of North Versailles, formerly of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at Point Pleasant Retirement Community. He was born April 13, 1928 in Swissvale, a son of the late Roy and Mabel Woods. Prior to his retirement, Eugene was an insurance adjustor for State Farm Insurance and was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Navy. Eugene was a 50 year member at Chartiers297 F. & A.M. Pauline Novak, 97, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday April 4, 2021, at home. She was born March 10, 1924 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late George and Anna Hopey and was also preceded in death by her son Gregory Novak. Prior to retirement she owned Novak’s Personal Care Home and Novak’s Beauty Salon and had attended John Lesko Beauty School. She was also employed by J&L Steel in Port Vue, the Coca Cola Bottling Co, McKeesport Hotel, Modern Lunch, Chestnut Inn, Minerva Bakery, and was a volunteer at McKeesport Hospital and at the local election polls. She is survived by her children Dennis Novak of North Huntingdon, and Marie (Paul) Polacek of Greensburg; also nieces and nephews.

Victoria Lynn (O’Barto) Sam, 63, of North Huntingdon, passed away quietly, surrounded by family, after a heroic battle with kidney disease, Sunday April 4, 2021.

She was born June 6, 1957 in Tampa, FL, a daughter of the late Anthony and Alma (Churchfield) O’Barto who raised her from the age of nine months after her mother’s unexpected death. In addition to her parents and grandparents she is preceded in death by her nephew Rick Paulus and her grandparents-in-law Jeff and Jean Lewis. She lived an amazing life and touched so many lives as a school bus driver, transit driver, hair stylist, and amazing person and friend.

She will always be remembered for her generosity and good humor. She was a positive person and never complained. She will be missed by all.

Rochelle L. Hager, age 31, of Waterville, Maine, formerly of White Oak, PA and Vero Beach, FL, died tragically on Monday, March 29, 2021. She was born November 30, 1989 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Dean and Sandy (Bendinelli) Hager of White Oak. She was known as “Shelly” to family and “Roe” to her TikTok friends.

Her infectious smile is what made people gravitate towards her. She was a huge advocate for helping others with addiction and had been clean for over 10 years. She liked to say “it takes zero dollars to be kind”. She graduated from La Cordon Bleu Culinary School and loved working in the restaurant industry.

She worked at the Antonelli Event Center and the Jacktown Ride and Hunt Club in North Huntingdon before moving to Maine to be the Executive Chef at the Woodlands Senior Community. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Lido F. Bendinelli and her pet dog Keylo.

She is survived by daughter, Phylis Jeffers of Jefferson Hills; sons, Scott (Cheryl) Jeffers of Monongahela and Stephen (Darlene) Jeffers of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren, Lucas Jeffers, Taylor Jeffers, Tyler (Alyssa) Settelmaier, Brianna Ketzler and Derek Ketzler; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (Dennis) McKnight of Belle Vernon, Lilly (Ben) Bennett of Elizabeth, Mary Allen of Port Vue and Suzie (David) Fortney of Simpsonville, SC; brother, Russell "Skip" Gill of West Mifflin; also, nieces and nephews. William E. Duvall died Feb. 25, 2021 at the White Oak Manor in Charlotte, NC. Born May 13, 1930 with his twin brother Robert in Pitcairn, PA, Bill was the son of the late Joseph R. and Virginia (Schrenghost) Duvall. He graduated from Pitcairn High School in 1948, served in the US Army during the Korean War and graduated from Westminster College in 1958 with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. Bill worked most of his career in the Treasury Dept of US Steel. He was a talented shortstop for US Army baseball teams in Europe and many semi-pro teams in Western PA. During his four years at Westminster College, Bill played in every inning of every game and in 1958 he co-captained Westminster to the PA State Championship. The Pittsburgh Pirates’ Pye Traynor offered Bill a contract to play for the Pirates minor league team in Tampa Bay, but Bill left professional baseball to pursue his family interests and professional career. In 2002, Bill and his brother Bob were inducted into the PA East Boros Sports Hall of Fame. Bill was an avid tennis player and golfer. After moving to Charlotte, NC, to be near his daughter and grandsons, he worked at the Ballantyne Resort golf course during many of his retirement years. Bill was married for 64 years to Gladys Thompson, who predeceased him in 2020. He is survived by his daughter Renee (Kenneth Jr.) Bramlett; grandsons James and Samuel Bramlett; brother Robert (Mary Catherine) Duvall; brother-in-law Clifford (Patti) Thompson; nephews Robert (Ann) Duvall, David (Lori) Duvall & Clifford (Tracy) Thompson and niece Jennifer (Jerry) Yoder. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 10 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Pitcairn. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Pitcairn.
