Austin Taylor Fagan, 23 of McKeesport, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in McKeesport, PA.

Austin was born August 20, 1996 at UPMC Magee Hospital.  He attended McKeesport, High School and graduated class of 2014.  While in high school, he was actively involved in playing basketball, baseball, and football.  Austin furthered his education by attending the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown Campus.  He was a former employee with the City of McKeesport for 9 years.  He started out as a summer employee working his way up the ranks to a fulltime permanent employee. He then began a new career as a laborer with Banks Gas Services in North Versailles.  Austin was an avid sports fan and follower of the great sports teams here in the ‘Burg’ - he “Bled” Black and Gold!!

He was a member of Covenant Church of Pittsburgh and occasionally visited Bethlehem Baptist Church of McKeesport where his family attends.

Austin loved family, being around friends, had “swag” and a great sense of humor.  He had a love for good food, music, being around people of all ages.  He was a true friend to his friends—ready and willing at a moment’s notice to be there for each of them for the sake of friendship.  Austin’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donations.. his organs have restored life’s promise for many families..and for this, we his family, know that his love and zest for life will live on in others.
