Samantha Pliska, age 33 of Chicago, formerly of White Oak, passed away on December 6, 2016.  Born on May 25, 1983 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Robert "Bob" Pliska and the late Michelle (Sullivan) Pliska.  She was a graduate of Penn State University, DePaul University College of Law and  also studied in Australia.  Samantha was the account manager for Extreme Reach Digital Media and Software Company.  Her love for travel and learning were apparent through her numerous adventurous trips abroad to such countries as Australia, Fiji and New Zealand to name a few. In addition to her father she is survived by maternal aunts, Geri (Michael) Zona, Sharyn (R.Q.) Simmons and Patricia (Ron) Gusky; cousins, Jeffrey Gusky, Ronald (Amy) Gusky Jr., and Amanda (Mark) Cottone.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00am at the Wesley United Methodist Church , 1201 Prescott Street, White Oak, PA 15131.  Pastor Debbie Kociban will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Wesley United Methodist Church. He was born July 12, 1950 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Anthony and Daisy (Ivanovic) Bugajski. He received his master’s degree from Duquesne University and retired as a commercial lending officer for Key Bank. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Irwin, and was a member of Shaner Sportsmen’s Club. He was a life member of the NRA and an avid outdoorsman.

She was born July 19, 1924 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Katherine Ditter Kreiling. After her mother passed away, she and her sister Evelyn were raised by the late Albert and Angela Thomas. Katherine served in the Korean War in the Army Nurse Corps. She had also worked in hospitals in Norfolk, VA, St. Petersburg, FL, and the VA Hospital in Aspinwall. She was a graduate of the Braddock General Hospital School of Nursing. Katherine was a member of the Corpus Christi Parish, McKeesport.

Michael Bilak, Jr., 84, of Elizabeth Township, died Saturday January 7, 2017. He was born December 19, 1932 in Port Vue and was the son of the late Michael and Anna May Kyne Bilak, Sr. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic in Elizabeth Township and was also a member and Eucharistic Minister at the former Holy Trinity Church in McKeesport. Michael was a US Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. For his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal. He was retired from the Tube City Beer Distributor in McKeesport.

Born June 24, 1939 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Elmer E. and Catherine (Reid) Wilson, and loving wife of the late Jack Zetler. Lois worked as a Nurse’s Aide for UPMC McKeesport, where she retired after many years of dedicated service. In her earlier years, she and her husband Jack owned their own traveling carnival where she enjoyed traveling across the state for events.

Vernon of Elizabeth.  Born March 14, 1929 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Paolo and Oneglia (Sgattoni) Rozzi and the wife of the late Albert A. “Scalube” Puskaric.  Pauline was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, Sons of Italy, Crimson Boosters Auxiliary, and a former member of Sacred Heart Church.  She is survived by her children, Albert (Ali) Puskaric of White Oak and Paula Puskaric, of White Oak; granddaughter, Kara Puskaric, of White Oak; brothers, Olindo (Val) Rozzi and Giovanni (Mary) Rozzi; sister, Erminia (the late Robert) Matwick and many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received at Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 12-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017, 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Fr.
