Daniel Gilmour age 60 of East Pittsburgh, formerly of North Huntingdon, died January 19, 2017 at his home.  Born May 18, 1956 in Mckeesport, son of the late Daniel C. Gilmour and Anna Mae Lipko Gilmour, he was preceeded in death by a brother Gary David Gilmour. Surviving are two sisters, Mary Jane Gilmour, of North Huntingdon, and Karen Singh, of Ohio,  Services are private.

Dorene R. Bayura, age 72, of McKeesport, died on January 13, 2017 at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born August 14, 1944 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Elizabeth M. (Donovan) Skovran and the wife of the late Thomas L. Bayura Sr. Dorene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother (Grammy B). She retired as an assistant cook from the former Glennshire Woods nursing home where she worked for 12 years. It was pleasing to her to help cook for the residents and to make some very dear friends along the way, especially her co-workers from the kitchen. She was also a Vietnam War era veteran, serving in the Marines. She liked to cook, crochet, craft, enjoyed coloring as of lately, and loved reading Sci-Fi, romance, and fantasy novels. Dorene is survived by her children: Thomas L. (Angela) Bayura Jr, Dorene Bayura, and William J. Bayura; grandchildren: Hayden C. and Nathan T. Bayura; siblings: Joseph E. Skovran, Michael G. (Tess) Skovran, Joann (Lance) Behm, Joyce M. Skovran, John R. (Karen) Skovran, Cheryl A. (Joe) Yusavage and Elizabeth M. Skovran. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorene is preceded in death by siblings: Harriet Forrest, William A. Skovran and Anna Marie Skovran. Family and friends will be received at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday January 21, 2017 from 1-3p.m. and 6-9p.m. A blessing service will be held at 8p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Jody Dausey will officiate. Inurnment will be at New St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association at 100 W Station Square Drive # 1900, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in East McKeesport. Robert was an Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II who went on to be a Master Plumber for over 40 years. He was a member of the Plumbers Local #27, Green Valley VFW and the American Legion in White Oak.

Walter “Buck” Charles Salka, 81, of Clairton, formerly of Bunola, passed away at home on January 16, 2017.  He was born June 1, 1935, in Bunola, to the late John and Sophie Fetchen Salka.
