Born September 4, 1928 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Anna (Wise) Fiugalski and wife of the late John “Jack” Frederick. Vern was dedicated to the St. Mary Czestochowa Church, now Corpus Christi Parish and was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild. She loved to cook for her family and care for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons David and Daniel Frederick; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and sister, Audrey Decorte; also many nieces and nephews and her care giver, Jessica Gosnell. In addition to her parents and husband, Veronica was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Miller; son, Dennis Frederick; brother, Louis Wise and nephew, Robert Wise.
