John Robert “Bob” Tharp, age 79, passed away at home surrounded by his family on July 25, 2016.  Born December 27, 1936 in Waynesburg, he was the son of the late Abner and Mildred (Tustin) Tharp and the beloved husband of 44 years to Carol (Kaiser) Tharp.  Bob graduated from Waynesburg High School in 1956.  He went on to work as a Radiologic Technician at Greene County Memorial Hospital, McKeesport Hospital, Homestead Hospital, and retired from Jefferson Regional Medical Center.  He served in the Army Reserves for 9 years and was an active member of Evangelical Congregational Church (McKeesport) and their ARFOM Class Organization.  His other memberships included Masonic Youghiogheny Lodge #583, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Al-O-Mon Forest #138, and the Mon Yough Church Dartball League.  He volunteered for McKeesport Meals on Wheels and enjoyed gardening, dartball, and taking care of his grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Brian (Stacey) Tharp, or Monroeville; triplet grandchildren, Benjamin, Holden, and Kylen; brother, Charles Raymond Tharp, of Waynesburg; sisters, Erma Jean Carroll, of Belle Vernon, Martha Grim, of Windridge, Sarah (Orville) King, of Waynesburg and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his brother Barton at six years of age.  Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Evangelical Congregational Church in McKeesport.  Rev. Glen Irvin will officiate.  Burial will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Evangelical Congregational Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association 1100 Liberty Ave, Ste E-201 Pittsburgh, PA 15222.  Condolences may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com

Thomas R. Binger, age 46 of McKeesport, passed on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born October 29, 1969 in McKeesport, he was the son of Chris (Breletic) Binger and the late Gary M. "Red" Binger, and beloved husband of Lori A. Tatkus-Binger for 21 years. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter, Schae, of home; grandmother, Dominga Breletic, of McKeesport; sister, Melissa Binger, of McKeesport; niece, Lily Binger; brother, Matthew (Shannon Payne) Binger, of New York; uncles, Robin Breletic and Kevin (Kim) Breletic; sister-in-law, Chris (Joe) DiBattista; cousins, Carly, Dylan and Ryan; and his cherished dogs, Scrappy, Onyx, Zeus and Pollo. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Charlotte Tatkus. Thomas worked for UPMC McKeesport where he was a dedicated surgical technician for many years. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Born February 18, 1939 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Helen (Stanko) Perhacs and the late James Perhacs. Sylvia was a former member of the McKeesport American Legion and found great joy in donating to help the veterans. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and coloring pictures for her room at Riverside.

Deborah D. "Debi" Lambert, age 68 of East Pittsburgh, formerly of West Mifflin, passed on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Concordia of Monroeville. Born September 7, 1947 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Catherine (Yonek) Ideluca and the late Joseph J. Ideluca. Debi worked for Mellon Bank in the clerical department for many years. Some of her favorite pastimes were making crafts and working on projects for her family and friends. She was often referred to as the “Original Martha Stewart”. Her generosity towards helping others will be missed by many.
