Genevieve Margaret Long, age 82, of McKeesport died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Riverside Nursing Center of McKeesport. Genevieve was born August 23, 1933 in Duquesne, PA. She is the daughter of the late Husain and Anna Rusinko Sheriff and wife of the late John L. Long. She was preceded in death by sisters Marie Magdic, Dorothy Smith, and Alice Stevenson. She is survived by brothers William Sheriff and Ron (Gail) Sheriff of Jefferson Hills and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth E. Haberjak, age 90, of Youngwood, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg, PA. She was born June 30, 1925 in Uniontown, a daughter of the late John Henry Freeman Sr. and Lula Tallentire Freeman Ehrenburg. Prior to her retirement, Ruth worked for Cox's, McKeesport in the Credit Department. She enjoyed macrame, playing bingo and singing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Haberjak Sr; and brother, John Henry Freeman Jr. She is survived by her son, Edward Jr. and his wife, Genevieve; daughter, Mary Panico and her husband, Julius; five grandchildren, Lisa Panico Jackson (William), Wendy Lieberum (Eric), Erin Toner (Tom), Leah and Edward Haberjak; three great-grandchildren, Isabella, Raelynn and Kaleb. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
