his is Barbara Anne Taylor Dale Jenkins speaking, age 78, of Lincoln, formerly of Elizabeth. I went to be with my mom and grandma on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. I so enjoyed talking to my high school classmates on good old Facebook. Thank heavens for that. Kept me sane (debatable) these last years. Charles Kenneth Dale and Catherine Renee Jenkins Mayernik are my finest achievements. I love my kids to the moon and stars and back. I enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I was born July 23, 1943 in McKeesport to the late Charles F. and Ailleen S. (Simpson) Taylor. I am survived by my daughter, Cathi (Marty) Mayernik of Lincoln Borough; grandchildren, Jonathan Mayernik, Carissa Mayernik, Casey Jo Dale and Matt Medved; great-grandchildren, Nathan Dale, and Mady and Landen Medved; special friends; also, nieces and nephews. My son, Charlie K. Dale, died October 31, 2019. I have no desire to have a viewing or to put my children through any more misery. Remember laughing together and better times. If I haven’t seen you in the last six months, then you’re not missing anything nor was I missing you. You can make memorial contributions to a charity of your choice. Mom said if I can’t say anything nice to shut my mouth. So that’s it. Nothing more to say. C’yall later. Arrangements by the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth.
