Dolores A. Ikach-Lefcort, 90, of McKeesport passed over on July 19, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 19, 1931 in Wilmington, DE and is the daughter of the late Eva Love Butler-Chalfont and Robert Allen Hornick. She leaves a legacy of work-ethic and love that is carried on by five children, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is proceeded in death by husbands Yugoslav Ikach and Edwin “Scotty” Lockhart. She is survived by husband: Alan Lefcort; siblings, Evalee Kunes, Joseph “Barney” Brindza (Claudia), and Joan Smith; children, Linda (Gilbert Palm), Robert Lockhart, Lissa (Jerry Hostomsky), Donna (Robert Maguire), and Yugo (Charmaine Ikach); grandchildren, Mindy Chappell (Jason), Melissa Tibbetts (Jeffrey), Matthew Palm (Michelle), Benjamin Maguire (Giuliana), Edward Charles “Tres” Townsend III, Savannah Ikach, Arwen Ikach, Isaac Ikach, and Isabelle Ikach; great-grandchildren, Abigail Palkovitz (David), Anna Chappell, Elizabeth Tibbetts, Rebecca Tibbetts, Grace Chappell, Victoria Tibbetts, Matthew Palm, and great-great-grandchild Mila Palkovitz.

Pauline L. Filiano, 87, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 12, 1935 in Holidays Cove, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Huha) Donofe. She was the wife of 67 years of Charles J. Filiano. She was a member of the former St. Denis Church in Versailles, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and Mary, Mother of God-Parish. She was a member of The Ladies of Charity, The Christian Mothers, and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxillary of Greenock Firehall. Pauline loved her family, grand pets, especially Mando, and great-grand pets.

Marie E. Mullaly Luberti, 94, formerly of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Juniper Village in Forest Hills. She was born July 25, 1927 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Leo and Marie Whigham Mullaly.  She was the wife of 7 years to the late Louis Luberti, who passed away December 19, 1991. Marie was a proud graduate of The Mercy School of Nursing in Pittsburgh.  She was also a United States Army Cadet Nurse. She proudly worked as a nurse for over 50 years.  Marie was a life long member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Richard A. "Rick" Combetty, 60, of Boston, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022. He was born October 19, 1961 and grew up in East McKeesport. He was the son of the late Albert and Dora (Ainsworth) Combetty. Rick retired from Bechtel Bettis as an HVAC Technician. He was also proprietor of Combetty Heating and Cooling. Rick was a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He was a man of great character and known for his integrity who always put others first. His greatest loves were his family and his dog Rosco. He was an avid Mustang enthusiast who enjoyed attending car shows with his 1991 Mustang. He also enjoyed cooking and trying new restaurants.

She was born April 11, 1938 in Braddock and was the daughter of the late Kasimer and Sophie (Cresovich) Kropczynski. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Daniel Trovato who passed away June 10, 2017. Leona was retired from the Shop N Save at the Norwin Shopping Center. She loved her family very much and was known for her excellence in cooking and being an avid gardener. She is survived by her sons, Daniel S. Trovato of Liberty Borough and Salvatore (Vonda) Trovato and John (Patricia) Trovato of North Huntingdon, grandchildren, Karyn (Derrick) Pope and Michael Trovato, great-grandchildren, Alayna (Mother-Rose) Palachko and Devyn Pope, sister, Gloria (Richard) Fox of Gibsonia, sister-in-law. Janice Kropczynski of North Versailles and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Michele Trovato, brother, Frank Kropczynski and sisters, Roberta Jablownoski and Charlotte Rupchak.

She was born July 28, 1940 in Columbus OH, and is the daughter of the late Carl Faulstick, Sr. and the late Sarah (Greene) Faulstick Papich. She was a long time member of Boston Presbyterian before the church closed their doors. She worked for many years as a housekeeper but retired from Riverside Nursing Center in 2005. Carlene loved to play cards, puzzle & word search books, and creating ceramic pieces, but most importantly, she loved sitting on the porch with her husband, Ed, and spending quality time with her family.

He was born September 18, 1942 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Edward Kmetz of Munhall and the late Eleanor (Novak) Kmetz of Duquesne. He was the husband of the late Patricia A. (Keefer) Kmetz, who passed away June 18, 2014. Donald worked as a printer for The Daily News until his retirement. Donald was loved by all who knew him. He was a quiet man, but loved to tell his jokes. He was also an avid card player and enjoyed going to casinos.

Marjorie J. "Marge" (Esek) Mykeloff, 79, of Buena Vista, formerly of West Mifflin and Liberty Boro, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022. She was born September 14, 1942 in McKeesport and is the daughter of the late Matthew J. and Agnes (Nasta) Esek. She patiently waited nearly 49 years to be reunited with her loving husband, the late George Mykeloff. Marge was a 1960 graduate of Duquesne High School and was quite the marksman on her rifle team. She kept her High School letters and riddled targets to prove it. She was part of the first graduating LPN class of CCAC in 1982 and went on to work for Kane Regional Medical Center in McKeesport, where she was a Union Steward, and eventually retired in 2002. She kept true to her nursing spirit, as she would tell the nurses at Meadowcrest Rehab exactly how everything should be done. Marge was known for her caring nursing, generous nature, and her wonderful sense of humor.

She was born December 16, 1958 in Monongahela and is the daughter of the late Edward Michael and Pearl Kathleen (Byrand) Seach. Diz was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and went on to becoming a Nurse's Assistant for many years at the Mount Vernon of Elizabeth Assisted Living. She is survived by her sisters, Sharon (Daniel) Pacich of Clairton, Kathleen Cassady of Fort Myers, FL, and  many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Diz was preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Kerfonta, and her uncle, Jack Byrand. Dolores Jean Goga, 87, of McKeesport, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Kane Regional Center in Scott Twp. She was born June 7, 1935 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Mamrak) Kepich. She was the wife of the late Raymond George Goga, who passed away August 29, 1977. Dolores graduated from McKeesport High School in 1953. She worked at Balsamo's and the memorial theatre in McKeesport during high school. After graduation she worked at Westinghouse Air Brake in Wilmerding. Later, she also worked briefly as a caregiver and then in the purchasing department of Allegheny County. Dolores loved being a homemaker and took pride in her home, she loved having her grandchildren come to visit and enjoyed taking them on day trips when they were young. Christmas baking was another favorite activity; in addition to sewing and several other crafts.

Joseph "Joe" E. Toth Jr., 89, of Donora, formerly of Clairton passed away at home on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. He was born January 8, 1933 in Clairton and is the son of the late Joseph E. Toth Sr. and the late Anna (Evans) Toth. Now a Veteran, Joe served in the Army from 1953 until 1955 where he was honorably discharged just 6 months shy of the end of the Korean War. After, he went school, now known as Triangle Tech, where he became a Draftsman, working for a few different companies throughout the years. He was also a long time member of Triumph of the Holy Cross - St. Clare of Assisi.

Richard Ronald Clarke, 81, of West Mifflin, passed away at home on Friday, July 1, 2022. He was born December 7, 1940 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Raymond and Anna (Vrcic) Clarke. Richard had worked for the former Continental Can and Sears Auto Center in West Mifflin. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. While in the Army, he received the Sharpshooters Medal and the Good Conduct Medal and had also completed Advanced Military Police Training. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ann (Oswald) Clarke, daughter, Noel Christine Faust of West Mifflin, and granddaughter, Alicia Ann Faust. He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Clarke. James W. Kimberly, 85, of West Newton passed away Tuesday June 28, 2022. He was born April 12, 1937 in West Newton and is the son of the late James V. and Matilda (Shuster) Kimberly. He was the husband to the late Julia (Vehouc) Kimberly, who passed away December 5, 2018. James worked many years for the GC Murphy Company within their warehouse running the forklifts. James, now a veteran, served in the United States Army guarding the wall in Berlin, Germany. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his dog, Baby. James was also a lifetime member of the West Newton Sportman's Club. He is survived by his children, James (Jan) Kimberly of Fairbanks, Alaska, Rose (Nicholas) Ginter of Yukon, PA, Dale (Diane) Kimberly of Sutersville, PA, and Susan Kimberly of West Newton; grandchildren, Nikki, Jamie, & Jenna Kimberly, Angie & Tylor Kimberly, John Jr., & Jenna Kerlicker, and Nicholas Ginter; two great-grandchildren, Sean & Casey; and his brother, Richard Kimberly of Greensburg. Michael "Mikey" John Kiger, Jr., 39, of Versailles, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at home. He was born March 17, 1983 in Pittsburgh and was the son of Michael John (Debb) Kiger of Versailles and the late Maureen Joan (Szekeres) Kiger. Michael was a Welder and Boiler Maker. He enjoyed working on cars and loved to go boating and fishing. In addition to his father, he is survived by his aunt, Terry Lee (Paul) Burke of Elizabeth Township, uncle, John A. Kiger of Lincoln Borough, step-sister, Renatta Signorini of Greensburg, and many cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Picnic will be held at a later date.
