On Sunday, September 8, 2019, Robert A. Szepesi, 81, of White Oak, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his daughters. He was born July 17, 1938 in Duquesne and was the son of the late Stephen and Irene (Serfozo) Szepesi. He was the loving husband of the late Joan (Savel) Szepesi, who passed away May 18, 2002. Robert was an active member of the Free Hungarian Reformed Church, McKeesport. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1963 and was honorably discharged. He was a Draftsman and CAD designer for Dravo Corporation. After his retirement, Bob enjoyed reminiscing about classic cars, watching Penguins hockey and Pirates baseball, and working on projects at his daughters' houses.

Walter A. Harbin, 81, of Elizabeth Township, passed away at home on Saturday, September  7, 2019. He was born September 18, 1937 in Carnegie and was the son of the late Walter A. and Dorothy (Neumeister) Harbin. He was a member of St. Patrick Parish and the Holy Name Men's Club. He served as an Alter Server for funerals and was also a Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of the White Oak American Legion, the Brentwood VFW and was a member and officer of the Elizabeth Township Ex-serviceman's Association.  Walter was a US Navy veteran and worked at the former VAMC on Highland Drive.

Steven "Steve" J.  Brkovich, 71, of Conneaut Lake, passed away, Friday, August 30, 2019. He was born November 30, 1947 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Stephen "Peaches" and Helen (Lucza) Brkovich. He was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School where he played baseball and football and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics in West Mifflin. Steve worked as a licensed mechanic and inspector for the former US Airways. He was a member of Our Lady, Queen of the Americas in Conneaut Lake  and was a former member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Moon Township. He was a 50 year member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America and was a member of the International Association of Machinist Potomac Air Lodge # 1976.  He was also a member of the former Boston Volunteer Fire Co, in Elizabeth Township. Steve serves as Democratic Committeeman for Summit Township, Conneaut Lake.

William (Bill) V. Angeloff, 87, of Elizabeth Township, died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in Jefferson Hospital after a short illness.  He was born November 18, 1931 in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late Velico and Rusa (Athanasova) Angeloff, who emmigrated from Bulgaria. Dad graduated from Carrick High School in 1949 and then attended the University of Pittsburgh, Class of 1958, and was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity.  Bill served in the Army during the Korean War (1952-1954).  Prior to retirement, he was employed by the Internal Revenue Service; earlier employment was with Union National Bank, Three Rivers Bank and the Beaver Trust Company.  He was a long-time member of St. Denis and St. Patrick Catholic Churches, Elizabeth Township Ex Servicemen’s Association and Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens group.

She was born September 28, 1955 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Warner and Sharma (Railingshafer) Talavinia. She was a member of the Greenock United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and cantatas. Ruth Ann was a graduate of Indiana University of PA and California University of PA where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Masters degree in Reading, respectively. She was a retired 6th grade Math Teacher at the Elizabeth Forward Middle School and was beloved by many students and their families.  "Ruthie" loved children and was dedicated to growing their minds academically, and their faith through leading Vacation Bible School and youth group at church.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ronald Lee Keefer, Jr., sons, Ronald Lee Keefer III, of West Newton,, Richard (Daenne) Keefer of Collinsburg, and John (Christine) Keefer of North Huntingdon, grandchildren, Lillian, Addie, Ridley, and Aubree, brothers, Vincent (Marcie) Matthews of Sutersville and James (Bonnie) Matthews of Cowensburg, and nieces and nephews.
