Gene Wesley Errett, 85, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Texas.  He was born August 21, 1933 in Greensburg, son of the late William R. and Hazel (Rosensteel) Errett.  Prior to his retirement from the military, Gene was an E-7 Helicopter Maintenance Supervisor for the US Army.  He was a member of Norwin Church of the Nazarene, American Legion and was an avid outdoorsman.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Errett; daughter, Cheryle Hill; son, Gene Wesley Errett Jr; brothers, William R. Jr. and Homer Errett; and nephew, Ronald Errett.  He is survived by his children Paul Errett, Dale Errett, Dan Errett, Cynthia Williams, Diana Williams, Gary Williams; grandchildren, Christopher, Rochelle, Christopher, Jacqueline, Dan Jr., and Anna; and five great-grandchildren. Ronald M. "The Old Man" Campion, 64, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019.  He was born November 7, 1954 in Bethel Park, son of the late Vincent and Erna (Steitz) Campion.  Prior to his retirement, Ron was a music teacher for Bethel Park School District for 30 years.  He played with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and was inducted into the Festival of Music Hall of Fame.  He was a civil war enthusiast and enjoyed gardening.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Andrew McQuiston; sister, Marie Campion; and brother, Karl Campion.  He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Pletcher Campion; son, Roland Campion and his wife, Colleen; daughters, Marie Campion and her fiance, Bradley Gillespie, Eva Campion (Michael Babilya); brother, Kevin (Linda) Campion; sisters,  Debra (Arthur) LaNoue, Nadine (Steve) Dunn, Bernadine Campion, Patrice (Todd) Krut; grandchildren, Kelly and Owen Campion; and sister-in-law, Cheri Campion.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements made by James W. Edward G Pfeil, 70, of North Huntingdon, PA, passed suddenly Friday, July 26, 2019. He served proudly in the United States Coast Guard on the Great Lakes, as Chef at the Carlton House in Pittsburgh and then in law enforcement for many years. Retirement wasn’t in his vocabulary as he remained busy with family, work and following his favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers. He loved his family, pets and helping others. He spent many years volunteering with the Blue Knights. He is survived by his beloved partner Shirley Zito, daughters Dana Pfeil Lynn and Kayla Pfeil Hanavan, grandson Gavin, granddaughter, Ava, father William Burks, sisters Susan, Debra, Judith and Laura, Uncle Glen Pfeil and multiple cousins. Preceded in death by mother Dolores Burks, grandparents George and Gladys Pfeil.

Hollibaugh, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019.  He was born June 26, 1930 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Elmer and Martha (Beadle) Hollibaugh.  Prior to his retirement, Louis was a salesman for various car dealerships in the area and served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary R. Richard Rates, 77, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at UPMC East.  He was born, June 19, 1942 in Herbert, Pa., a son of the late John and Mary (Kasun) Rates.  Prior to his retirement, Richard was an autoworker for General Motors.  He was a member of St. Agnes Parish, Italian Brotherhood of Guffey, social member of Hahntown Fire Dept., Hartford Heights Fire Dept., Larimer Fire Dept and Lowber Fire Dept.  He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jayne Panesky Rates; and brother, Ronald Rates.  He is survived by his sons, Todd Rates and his wife, Kimberly, Donald Rates and his wife, Dawn; daughter, Susan Cable; sister, Micheline Vargo; and six grandchildren.  Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the James W. Petrosko, 85, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday July 12, 2019.  He was born May 22, 1934 in McKeesport, a son of the late Peter and Mary (Crush) Petrosko.  Prior to his retirement, Robert was a tool and die maker for General Motors and a veteran of the US Army.  He was a member of the 11th Ward Club, enjoyed playing the lottery and spending time with his family.  Bob was the life of the party, enjoyed social clubs and had ingenious ways of fixing things. Karen Louise Boes, 63, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.  She was born March 8, 1956 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Daley) Miller.  Karen was a graduate of Richland High School and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and oil painting and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was a fan of Ellen DeGeneres and had the opportunity to attend the show in December of 2011 with her daughter Christy.  Karen was known for her generosity and gave to many charities.  In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her grandparents, Francis and Laura Daley; and sister, Judith Drosjack.  She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Richard Boes; sons, Mike Boes and his wife, Tracey, Nick Boesand his girlfriend Erica; daughter, Christy Mowerand her parnter Brenda; brother, Robert Miller and his wife, Denise; and grandchildren, Abigail, Bailey, Sandra, Tristan and Mason.  There will be no visitation as per Karen's wishes.  The family will hold a private  memorial service on the ocean to celebrate Karen's life.  Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Karen.  Arrangements made by the James W. Elizabeth "Libby" R. Capozzi, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019.  She was born February 7, 1930 in Herminie, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Irvin) Medley.  Prior to her retirement in 1993, Elizabeth was the office manager for Hussman Corporation.  After her retirement she ran her son's business, Capozzi Transport and was a member of St. Agnes Parish, North Huntingdon.  Libby was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who was always there for her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Capozzi; and her daughter, Karen Winter.  She is survived by her son, Michael Capozzi and his fiancee, Terri Emory; granddaughters, Angela (C.J.) Hines, Georgeanna (Steve) McCloskey; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Canyon Hines, Kara (Donavin) Gray, Jonathan Capozzi, Anthony and Taylor McCloskey.  Friends will be received at the James W. John S. Kovach, 94, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019.  He was born December 29, 1924 in McKeesport, son of the late Steven and Elizabeth (Fulop) Kovach.  Prior to his retirement, John was a machinist for Genuine Tool Company and a WWII veteran having served in the US Army.  John served in the Battery B 489th Coast Artillery Battalion and received WWII Victory Medal and two Bronze Star Medals while serving in Europe.  He was a member of the 11th Ward Club, McKeesport, White Oak American Legion and enjoyed going to his hunting camp at Camp Glenn, Snowshoe.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Florence McCarthy Kovach; five sisters; and one brother.  He is survived by his sons, Thomas Kovach and his wife, Joanne; John Kovach and his wife, Camille; sister, Grace Balogh; and grandchildren, Kelly (Tim) Mediate, John (Courtney) Kovach, Michael (Felicia) Kovach, Kathryn "Katie" Kovach; and two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Kace.  Friends will be received at the James W.
