THOMAS M. KULUS Age 74, of Duquesne, on February 12, 2020. He was the son of the late John and Charlotte (Chepulis) Kulus. Tom was retired from the PA Liquor Control Store in Penn Hills. He was a former member of St. Joseph Church in Duquesne and the Teutonia Mannerchor Club in Duquesne. He proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Former husband of Connie (Tassone);  Father of Pamela (Kulus) Brown of Braddock Hills, Thomas J. (Jacqueline) Kulus of West Mifflin, Cindy (Jim) Capell of Monroeville, and Marie (Bryan) Krasneski of South Park; grandfather of Heather Brown, Tanner, Bennett, and Ethan Kulus, Katie and Jimmy Capell, Ariana and Colton Krasneski. Cecelia A. “Cel” (Rago) Hlad age 92, of West Mifflin, on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Marian Manor.  Born in Duquesne on December 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Marie (Dudash) Rago.  She was a retired nurse from Magee Women’s Hospital, member of Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne, past member of the former Duquesne Annex Senior Citizens, member of the former Christ the Light of the World Rosary Society & Women’s Guild, and was also a former cashier at Mann’s Bros. She was the beloved wife of Joseph G. “Whitey” Hlad for 68 years; mother of Melany Hlad of Pittsburgh, Nadine (David) Winwood of White Oak, Patrice “PT" (Paul Ludwig) Hlad of West Mifflin; Buba of Joseph Winwood of Plano, Texas and Nicholas Winwood of Manchester, New Hampshire.  She was the sister of the late Louise (late Andrew) Krasman, late Joseph (late Alicia) Rago, and late Agnes (late Michael “Kope”) Kopolovich.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11 from 2-8 p.m.  at the MALOY-SCHELIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, where an “Angels of the Allegheny” service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 12 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name Church of Christ the Light of the World Parish at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin. Elizabeth M. “Beth” Sabo age 97, of West Mifflin, on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at home.  Daughter of the late Earl & Ann (Gwynn) Lloyd, she was the former owner of a ceramic business and a hairdresser and a member of Faith Lutheran Church in White Oak.  She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen A. Sabo for 71 years ; mother of the late Gene Stephen Sabo; and sister of the late Thomas Lloyd, late William Lloyd and late Daisy Valiquette.  She is survived by sister-in-law Charlotte (late John) Rezes; nephew John Rezes; niece Suzanne Koribanic; and grand nephew Brandon Schnelzer. Cuffin age 89, of West Mifflin, on January 27, 2020 at Locust Grove Personal Care Home.  Born in McKeesport on March 4, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Ludwig “Louis” & Isabel (Crawford) Dannenhauer.  She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Duquesne where she belonged to the former Confraternity of Christian Mothers & Guild.  In addition, she was a former member of the West Mifflin Annex Senior Citizens & the former Duquesne Senior Citizens Fellowship Club.  Beloved wife of the late Henry Cuffin, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Rose (late John) Ely, Francis Markle, Isabel (late Ray) Lineburg, Louis (late Elizabeth) Dannenhauer, Cecelia (late Paul) Bauman & Ernest Dannenhauer.  She is survived by nieces and nephews, Donna (Bill) Howard, Dan (Arlette) Dannenhauer, Betty (Rick) Perkins, Jim Lineburg, Alicia Bauman & David Bauman; 9 Grand Nieces & Nephews; 12 Great Grand Nieces & Nephews; 1 Great Great Grand Nephew. Mary Lisa (Malinowski) Holzwarth age 55, of West Mifflin, on January 19, 2020, at home.  Born in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Florence Husfelt of West Mifflin and the late Leonard J. Malinowski.  She was a homemaker, was creative with crafts and displayed for Home Interiors and liked to play cards.  She was a 32-year survivor as a heart transplant recipient, one of the longest on record, which occurred on Sept. 30, 1987 and was celebrated as her second birthday.  The need for a new heart was caused by postpartum cardiomyopathy.  She was the wife of John A. Holzwarth of West Mifflin; mother of Anthony James (Michele) Holzwarth of West Mifflin; grandmother of McKenna Holzwarth & Zander Holzwarth; sister of Mark (Kimberly) Malinowski of West Mifflin, Leonard J. Former member of St. Joseph Church in Duquesne and member of the former St. Joseph Confraternity of Christian Mother's  and Guild, and the former rosary society of Christ the Light of the World Parish, former member of West Mifflin Annex Senior Citizens and the Knights of Columbus Senior Citizens. She was a member for 57 years of the Ladies of Charity, both at St. Joseph and Corpus Christi Parish. Beloved wife of the late Chester A. Hamerski for 60 plus years; mother of Joline (late Louis, "Bill") Buzzatto of White Oak, Mary Ann Kistler of Deltona, Florida, Walter (late Shirley) Hamerski of Harmony, PA, Robert (Cheryl) Hamerski of Glenshaw, Amy (William) Sawders of Versailles and the late Richard Hamerski, late Teresa Hamerski; also 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren; sister of Helen Frick of Pittsburgh and the late Nellie Markiewicz, late Phyllis Lanz, late Stanley Klara and the late Edward Klara. Bedont age 69, of West Mifflin, died Tuesday December 31, 2019 in UPMC McKeesport.  Born January 29, 1950 to the late Mark Sr. and Beatrice (Ardiana) Bedont, he was a roll turner at the former Mesta Machine Co. and a pharmacy tech at the V.A. Hospital in Oakland.  He is survived by brothers Mark Jr. (Sally) of Williamsburg, VA, Gary of West Mifflin and Jeff (Mary) of West Mifflin; loving uncle of Melanie (Rob) Vitous, Eric (Lauren) Bedont, Alex Bedont, Tracey Lape (Mike Warywoda) and Tyler Douglass; great uncle to Dylan and Trevor Bedont, Mark and Melody Bedont, Kacen Lape and Teagan Warywoda. Tkach age 83, of West Mifflin, on December 28 in Jefferson Hospital.  Son of the late Andrew & Helen (Sotak) Tkach, he was retired from Commercial Insurance Co. as a premium auditor, was a member of St. Joseph Church, Duquesne, the White Oak Gun Club, and was a photographer. He proudly served his country in the Navy. In addition he was in the National Guard and the Reserves.  He was the husband of Barbara (Johnson) Tkach and in January, they would have been married 61 years.

John L. “Jack” Holleran age 92, of West Mifflin, passed away on December 16, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.  Born in Williamsport, PA, he was the son of the late Martin & Jane (Cloonan) Holleran.  Beloved husband of 64 years to Marian M. (Mayer) Holleran, he was a retired Quality Control Pipe Inspector for U.S. Steel National Works and was a former security guard for Camp Hill Steel, McKeesport. He was a member of Resurrection Church and a former member of St. Joseph Church in Duquesne.  He proudly served his country in the Army in World War II. He was the father of Martin Holleran of Murrysville and Kevin (Tammy) Holleran of North Huntingdon; grandfather of Shane, Gannon, Late Christopher (Fiance Cassandra) Holleran & their son, Declan Emerson Holleran, Erika (Alec) Balenciaga; brother of the Late Mary Margaret Holleran, Late Martha (Late Martin) Sheehan, Late Florence (Late Robert) Reeves & Late Thomas (Surviving spouse Victoria) Brogan. Prengaman for 62 years.  She is survived by her children Ronald (Toni Marie) Prengaman of Monongahela and Ken (Jeff Szramowski) Prengaman of West Mifflin; grandchildren Linda (Kirill) Prengaman of Bellingham, MA and Sarah (Michael) Majetic of Bull Head City, AZ.  She was preceded in death by her brother John Holko.
