Thomas L. Sloss age 88 of Duquesne, formerly of West Mifflin on March 5, 2019. Son of the late Edward and Violet (Morgan) Sloss. Tom was retired from US Steel Homestead Works as an inspector. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Husband of the late Helen (Lancos) Sloss; father of the late Thomas W. Sloss; predeceased by brothers, Charles (survived by his wife, Juanita), Russell, Edward, Robert, John “Jack”, Ronald and William Sloss. SHARON M.  JUGAN age 61, of West Mifflin, she lost her courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer on March 1, 2019. Sharon is the daughter of Dorothy (Traud) Macioce of Munhall and the late Paul J. Jugan. Sharon was a data entry clerk for banking. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, helping people clean their homes, and loved cats. Besides her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Sandy (Kenny) Kracinovsky of Bethel Park, Paul (Cindy) Jugan of Eagle River, AK, Vince Macioce of Beechview, and the late Michele Jugan; she is the girlfriend of David Bereznak of West Miffin. R. BLAINE WHITE age 80 of West Mifflin on March 2, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was a son of the late Richard E. and Mildred (Elwell) White. Blaine was a retired dispatcher for the Port Authority. He attended Christ The Light of the World Parish. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps Reserves and in the Army. He coached Duquesne Little League Baseball, belonged to the Croation Club Bowling League, The WVW Family Golf Invitational, Marcic Family Poker Club, volunteered for the golf, picnic and Hoagie sales committees at the Christ The Light of the World Parish, the 1956 Duquesne High School Reunion Committee and was a groundskeeper at Holy Name Cemetery. He enjoyed golf with his sons and George, Jack and Tut. He also enjoyed going to the Meadows, the movies and his summer home at Canadohta Lake. Loving husband of 61 years to Margie (Vukelja) White; cherished father of Lawrence James (Sherry) White of North Huntingdon, David Scott White of Mt. Lebanon, Donna Marie (Douglas) Wilhoit of Fairfield Glade, TN and Richard (Michele) White of Monroeville; proud grandfather of Kristie Westerlund, Ashley (Chris) White, Richard White, Kelly Westerlund, Courtney Westerlund, Bailey White and Delaney White; great-grandfather of Logan Rager; brother of Judith Nyros of FL, Carol Trunzo of White Oak and Jack (Marlene) White of West Mifflin; broher-in-law of Stanley "Tut" (Marie) Vukelja of Charleroi; also his loving nieces, nephews and friends. Roberta A. Morgan, 83, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center.  Born August 24, 1935, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Max and Henrietta (Granzen) Ruff.  Roberta was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin.  She enjoyed reading, crafts, cooking, puzzles, word search puzzles, she loved animals and her family always came first.  She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Harold “Buzz” Morgan; her children Patricia (late Duane) Schoff of West Mifflin,Michael (Karen) O'Dea of West Mifflin, Jamie (David) Radocay of West Mifflin, Laurie (Chris) Madeya of West Mifflin, Colleen (Joseph “Jay”) Tkach of West Mifflin and Tommy (Kristi) Morgan of Punxsutawney; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister Maxine Hall of Port Vue; her nephew John Platt; and her beloved dog Maxie.  There will be no visitation.  A private blessing service will be held and a private burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery at a future date.  Arrangements provided by MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Duquesne, 412-466-3300

He was a son of the late Martin J. and Mary (Spanik) Reagan.  Retired owner of Custom Carpet Color, he was a member of the former Holy Name Church in Duquesne, now Christ the Light of the World Parish, and the former V.F.W. Post #188.  He coached Duquesne Little League baseball and was their president in the late 1970’s and was also a midget football coach and an avid Duquesne Dukes fan.  He also loved Kennywood.  He proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He was the proud father of Becky (Ryan) Alexa of McKeesport and Rob (Rachel) Reagan of California, MD; loving pappy of Emmet, Lucas, Abigail, Isaac, Hannah & Noah; Brother of Martin (Gerry) Reagan of the North Hills, Arlene (Thomas) Jewkes of North Versailles; Brother-in-Law of Rose Daly of Duquesne; uncle to many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Visitation Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300 where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Patricia H. "Pat" Beckinger age 77 of Glassport, formerly of Duquesne on January 9, 2019. Beloved wife of Jhon Beckinger; loving daughter of Norman and Adelaide (Menzie) Hart who preceded her in death; treasured sister of Micki Hart Faller of Shadyside. Pat received her bachelors degree from the University of Pittsburgh and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Parish in Duquesne where she taught at Duquesne Catholic School for many years. Her sixth grade social studies class won a national contest with an essay on Space Bill of Rights. The prize was a visit from an astronaut, Eugene Cernan, the last man to walk on the moon. Pat previously taught at St. Keiran's School in Lawrenceville and St. Sebastian's School in the North Hills. Pat was very devout in her faith and served as Eucharistic minister and lector at St. Joseph Church and at Christ of the Light of the World Parish. This enabled many people to stay connected to their church through her efforts and dedication. CHARLES D. "JAKE" BARNES age 97 of West Mifflin on December 26, 2018 at home. He was a son of the late Charles C. and Laura (Watkins) Barnes. Jake was retired from US Steel Homestead Works, 100 inch mill with 40 years service. He was a member of St. Agnes Church, West Mifflin. He enjoyed tinkering, gardening and going to flea markets. Jake was a very humble person and believed in treating everyone as he would like to be treated. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp. during WWII. Beloved husband of the late Susan "Sue" (Manns) Barnes for 70 years; father of Terry L. (Doris) Barnes of Findlay, OH, Sandy (late Paul) Mancini of Kinsman, OH, Dorsey (Tom) Solich of Howland, OH, Carol (Jim) Howard of West Mifflin, Sheryl (Ed) Eichenlaub of Bethel Park and Sue Muha of West Mifflin; also 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brother of Lois Jean (the late Russ) Hunter of Union City, PA, the late Robert (late Rita) Barnes, late Lewis (late Kathleen) Barnes and the late Virginia Barnes.
