Vilma (Babik) Pulica, 91, of Duquesne, died Saturday, August 13, 2016 in St. Angelo Manor, McKeesport. Born July 7, 1925, in the Czech Republic, she was the daughter of the late Pavel Babik and Vilma Slaborova. She was the beloved wife of the late Imrich Pulica. All services were private and entrusted to the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home.

Maria Carmella (Delle Donne) Meglio, 85, formerly of West Mifflin, died peacefully Tuesday, August 30, 2016, in McMurray. Born December 17, 1930, in Rankin, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Congo) Delle Donne. Mrs. Meglio was a faithful member of Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin. A former cashier at the Braddock Hills Giant Eagle and a member of the ISDA. Loving mother of Donna Meglio of Canonsburg and Jack (Lisa) Meglio of Melbourne, FL. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Jack and Nichole Meglio; two great grandchildren, Kylie and Madison; and a sister, Lee (Rich) Trankocy of North Versailles.

Beloved mother of Robert Morgan Sloss, Jr. of Elizabeth, Cynthia Christine Sloss of West Mifflin and Bruce Paul Sloss also of Elizabeth; loving grandmother of Robert of Seattle, WA, Eric of Aspinwall, Nathan of Kansas City, MO, Jeff of Bel Air, MD, Brett of Pittsburgh, Morgan of West Mifflin, and Marc of Mt. Washington; also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Luke, Alanna, Tessa, Jacob, Julie, Kevin, and Ryan. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Born March 11, 1939, in Duquesne, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Kuprok Bihary. She was a faithful member of Ss, Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne, and the Parish Club, were she was very active in fund raising and raffle ticket sales. She was also a  member of the Allegheny County Retirees Association, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in McKeesport and enjoyed bowling in the "Morning Glories Bowling League and a past bowler of the Tuesday Night SS. Peter and Paul League.

Flash was an employee of Kiczan Manufacturing in North Versailles. Flash was the husband of the late Cathy "Poss" Shields. He is survived by two brothers; John and Bruce Shields, a sister; Toni Vranick, Aunts, Nieces and Nephews and a very special friend; Shannon. Besides his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by a brother; Steven Shields.

Mr. Barker was a founding member of the Duquesne Auxiliary Police, the Duquesne Little League and Pony League.
