Rose Campbell, age 88, of Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth, formerly of Christy Park, died March 23, 2016, at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth. Born September 27, 1927, in Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Grace (Primerana) Costa and the wife of the late William Campbell for 60 loving years.

Rose retired from the McKeesport Area School District, where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of the St. Patrick Parish, Christian Mother’s and the Christy Park Seniors. She enjoyed growing flowers and her own vegetables for cooking Sunday dinner, Holiday meals and for family gatherings. Rose loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Nancy was active in many community endeavors, including the Liberty Borough Womens Club, Cub Scouts Pack 53, the Liberty Borough Elections Commission, and the McKeesport Golden Key Club for seniors. In her free time, she enjoyed calligraphy and crewel work.
