James H. Keys, age 61, of McKeesport, died May 6, 2021, at UPMC Mercy. Born August 5, 1959, in Greensburg, he was the son of the late James G. and Gladys (Shirley) Keys and the husband of the late Terri (Rosak) Keys.
James worked in the construction industry until his health would no longer allow him to work. He enjoyed gardening and the outdoors in his early years. James' most incredible joy was the happiness he felt when spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Jean L. Zanetti, age 86, of Liberty Borough, died May 1, 2021, at UPMC Mercy Hospital. Born September 6, 1934, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Louis George and Margaret (Fairbaugh) George Konias and the wife of the late Arthur P. Zanetti.
Jean was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church in McKeesport. Jean enjoyed playing bingo, cards, going to the casino, and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates play. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Jean is survived by her children, Ronald (Debbie) of Elizabeth, and Jeri (Rob) Mowry of Liberty Borough; grandchildren, Kristy (Rob) Gordon, Julie Zanetti, Jeffery (Holli) Zanetti, and Kyle (Morgan) Mowry; great-grandchildren, Parker, Lincoln, and Kenzie; and step-sister, Joni Wakefield.

Bills, age 65 of Port Vue, formerly of White Oak, died April 27, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born April 16, 1956, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Charles Blamick Jr. and Gertrude (Fullard) Blamick and wife of Theodore "Ted" Bills. Barbara used to work for the Daily News and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School and went on to study at Duff's Business Institute.

Marie Vickers, age 76, of Port Vue, died April 17, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born March 7, 1945, in Brentwood, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie Benoit and wife of the late Herbert "Herb" Vickers for 55 years. Marie worked at McKeesport National Bank and then PNC Bank. When her sons were growing up, she was active with the Port Vue Athletic Association and always cheering them on at their ballgames. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was proud of them all.

Brimacombe, age 85, of Port Vue, died April 17, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born January 5, 1936, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes (Hoffmeister) Johnson, and wife of the late William Brimacombe.  Pat worked as a secretary for Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory and was an active member of Port Vue United Methodist Church.  She had a talent for making blankets and happily gave them to many family and friends.  Her family was also the recipient of many baked goods over the years, but cookies were her specialty.

Donna Mae Oats, age 74, of McKeesport, died April 16, 2021, at home. Born March 17, 1947, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Martha (Ostrander) Moore and the loving partner of Dave Robertson for 17 years.

Donna enjoyed sewing, knitting, and going to Bingo.

In addition to her partner Dave, she is survived by her children, Donald White, Steve (Alicia) Oats, and Brandy (Timothy) Tata; grandchildren, Joey (Alexandra), Kimmy (Joseph), Mallorie (Dallas), Steven (Ashley), Adam, Brandon, Christian, Nicholas, Timothy, Meghaan and Samaantha; great-grandchildren, Steven, Preston, Nathan, Landon, Zachariah, Layla, Casey, Anakin, Nova, Anna, Samuel, Joseph, Ian, Amy, Mckenna, and Penelope; sisters, Edith Smith, Rosie Coulter, and Tina Cousineau; and a brother, Harry Moore; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Brad was currently working for the City of McKeesport Public Works. He enjoyed watching a good movie, going out to eat, especially his favorite Sushi, and sports of all kinds. Although Brad found peace in his home's comfort, he loved to laugh and had a contagious smile. He was always willing to help a friend in need.

Jay W. Hobby, age 72, of Port Vue, died April 6, 2021, at home. Born April 21, 1948, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late James T. Hobby, Jr., and Emma Elizabeth (Bryant) Hobby-Tarli and the step-son of Sam Tarli and husband of Kathy (Laczko) Hobby.

Jay retired from the Allegheny County Jail, where he was a Correctional Officer. He was a member of the ACRA. Jay was a US Army veteran serving as a medic during Vietnam. He was also a member of the Dravosburg American Legion Post #380. He enjoyed golf, playing softball in his early years, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Jay's greatest joy was his family and their happiness.

Anna Mae Carlson, age 84, of McKeesport, died April 4, 2021, at Manor Care of White Hall. Born October 27, 1936, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Charles and Ethel (Downes) Vogel and the wife of the late Donald H. Carlson.
Anna Mae retired from McKeesport Hospital, where she worked in the Dietary Department. She was a member of the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church of McKeesport, where she was involved with the Daughter's of the King, helped train Usher's for over 32 years, and most recently helped with kitchen duty.

Robert B. Bentz, age 82, of Elizabeth, died April 1, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born January 3, 1939, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late William and Hilda (Blank) Bentz and the husband of Shirley (Gatto) Bentz for 62 years.

Robert was the owner of Stan's Transmission for 50 years. He has a passion for racing and shared that passion with his children by taking them to the track with him when they were children. His dedication to racing earned him a place in the Pittsburgh Circle Track Hall of Fame. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Robert C. (Janet) Bentz, Thomas J. (Nelly) Bentz, and Susan L. (Tom) DiBiaso; grandchildren, Stacy (Andrew) Stenglein, Lauren (Anthony) Boehm, and James DiBiaso; great-grandchildren, David and Evelyn, and his beloved dog Maggie.

She is survived by sons Richard (Tammy Skelley) Krajacic, of Donegal, and Jeffry (Debra) Krajacic, of Hartland, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Rachel (Kevin) Kvasnica and Jeffry A. Krajacic; great-grandchildren, Roman, Beckett, Josephine, Tyler, and one more on the way and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by siblings Betty Perich, Rose Supansic, Goldie Nagy, Dolores Wedel, Mary Grommo, and William Schaffer.

Albert G. Lipchey, age 99, of McKeesport, died March 13, 2021, at Kane Community Living Center. Born March 1, 1922, in Monongahela, he was the son of the late Dennis and Mary (Kebles) Lipchey and the husband of the late Muriel (Adkins) Lipchey.

Albert retired from CECO Steel, where he was a welder. He was a US Navy veteran serving during WWII. Albert enjoyed darts, all Pittsburgh sports, and dancing in his early years.

He is survived by his children, Mary Clouse of White Oak, George Lipchey of Glassport, Kathy Riley of White Oak, and Donna Campbell of Glassport; 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews.

Sandra Lee "Sandy" Pomycala, age 81, of Plum Borough, formerly of Port Vue, died March 13, 2021, at AHN Forbes Hospital. Born June 23, 1939, in Dravosburg, she was the daughter of the late Aurelio (Arch) and Rosa (Klink) Buono and the wife of Richard A. Pomycala for 60 years.

She was a member of the Saints Joachim and Anne Parish. Sandy's greatest joys in life were her family's happiness and caring for her home. Sandy enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.
