Joseph Cabray, age 89, of West Mifflin, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, in Jefferson Hospital. Born in Duquesne on February 3, 1936, he was the son of the late George and Margaret (Yellich) Cabray. He is retired from U.S. Steel Duquesne Works where he worked in the B.O.P. Accounting Department. He was a retired school bus driver with 25 years of service. He was a member of the Praise Assembly Church in North Versailles where he served as a Deacon and was on the Board of Directors. He coached little league and eventually became a manager, winning 2 world series. He had a real estate license, worked at the P.A.A., loved dancing, was his mother’s caregiver when she was in poor health and had the opportunity to meet and shake Bill Mazeroski’s hand one hour after he hit his famous home run. He was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan.
Joseph is the beloved husband of Angeline “Angie” T. (Kypros) Cabray for 67 years; father of Joseph George Cabray of West Mifflin and the late Theodore “Teddy” Cabray; grandfather of Kristin (Jason) Schmidt of Windsor, Colorado; great grandfather of Olivia Schmidt, Judah Schmidt, Samira Schmidt, Keilana Schmidt, and Zekiah Schmidt; brother of the late Helen Sotak, late Anna (late Steve) Vasko, twin brother, late Johnny Cabray, and late Robert (late Marjorie) Cabray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., at the Praise Assembly Church of God, 245 Foster Rd., North Versailles, PA 15137

He was born May 9, 1955 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Frank John Marzina, Sr., and the late Esther Irene (Goins) Marzina. Frank was an Electronics Technician and had worked for the former Remote Control Systems in Irwin. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara (Seman) Marzina, son, Adam J. Born June 7, 1944, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen ( Byard ) Meyer and wife of the late William R. Pack. Janice lived with a spirit of kindness and a passion for both people and animals.

Dolores H. “Dee” Thumm, age 91, of White Oak, PA, passed away on January 2, 2025. She was born on January 1, 1934, in McKeesport, PA, a daughter of the late Ulderico Carlino and Evelyn (DiNino) Carlino, and beloved wife of the late Robert Thumm.
Dee had a strong Christian faith and would witness to anyone of her love for the Lord. She served as a Salvation Army officer in New York City, and as a missionary with Campus Crusade for Christ in Iran and Cypress, allowing her the opportunity to visit Jordan, Israel, and Italy. She had excellent secretarial skills and after her return to the United States worked for Cornerstone TV and the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh.

George Radjenovich, age 89 of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025 at the Grove where he resided with his wife Ethel and son Nick by his side. He was born January 30, 1936 in Braddock, a son of the late Bozo and Luba Radjenovich. George served in the Navy as a cook on a ship, and he went on to become a coil-winder employed by Westinghouse. George served as an Eagle Scout, and he was a black-belt in Judo and also an instructor. He loved going to the Giant Eagle, pre-covid, where they, for years, sat around "the table" and gathered with 12 of his friends. He also made friends with the workers there which continued on until he could no longer drive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie and Kenny Radjenovich, and four sisters, Mildred (Milan) Devich, Vaya (Jack) Joyce, Bertie Gates, and Beatrice Radjenovich and his brother-in-law Jack Marzec. He is survived by his beloved wife Ethel Lawther Radjenovich, a son, Nick, a daughter Cathy, two sisters, Gloria Marzec and Rosie Radjenovich, one brother, Nick, his sister-in-law Joan Varacalli, his brother-in-law Al, and many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to his niece Jeanne who was there for him like a daughter and whom he loved very much. Funeral services will be private. There will be no public visitation. Carolyn L. Brown, 80, of Elizabeth Township passed away Monday, February 24, 2025. She was born at home in Elizabeth on October 29, 1944 to her birth mom, the late Sarah Jane (McSurdy) Fellabaum, and her parents, the late George and Ida Fellabaum. Carrie worked 10+ years as the custodian for EF's Central Elementary before retiring in 2013. She was the most caring, loving, self-less woman anyone could have known. She was the true foundation of the family, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved birds and all animals and she would always pray for Veterans and those gone before her. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joseph P. Brown, who said - "I knew from day 1 she was going to be my wife." As well as her two children, who in turn, their spouses became her children as well; Jo-ann (Frank) Belmares of Elizabeth Township, and Aaron (Susan) Brown of Elizabeth Township. Her adored grandchildren, Rhiannon, Ryan, Hayden, and Ross; and also her wonderful great-granddaughter, Jane; her siblings, James "Jim Fellabaum, Robert "Bob" (Janet) Fellabaum, and Joyce Fellabaum, and many nieces and nephews. Richard Alan "Rick" Perkins, 63, of Greenock passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in McKeesport on December 1, 1961 and is the son of Dorothy "Dee" (Furia) Perkins and the late Richard Perkins. Rick was a 1979 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. Throughout high school, he was in a band and played guitar and bass guitar. He had a passion for music and led a simple life. He worked for Basic Carbide for the past few years, and worked his way up to being head shop grinder. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Amy (Alex) Bernhardt of Westview, and Melissa (Dan) Ridenour of Greenock; his son, Ryan Perkins of Elizabeth; his beloved companion, Tammy Casey of Greenock; grandchildren, Persephone, Makayla, Aiden, and Annabelle; as well as his brother, Darrin (Teresa Demorest) Perkins of Naples, FL.; and his Aunt Lynda Wiatrowski of Canonsburg. James “Jim” W. Chester, age 80, of Glassport, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Born October 13, 1944 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John Chester and the late Helen Trepanowski. Jim retired as a Lieutenant in the police force for the University of Pittsburgh after 38 years. He was a member of the Shepherd’s Heart Fellowship and Veterans Home, Burning Bush, an active visitor of St. Michael's Church, St. Joachim and Anne Parish, in Elizabeth, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and a chaplain with the Pittsburgh Police. He will be remembered as a supportive father and loving grandfather. Dorothy Mae Pavloff, age 95, of West Mifflin, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the home of her daughter. Born in Duquesne on November 8, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Eicholtz and the late Kathryn (Wohl) Eicholtz Renner. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne. She loved to bake wedding cakes and crochet.
Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late John Pavloff. She is the mother of John A. (Patti) Pavloff of Stephens City, VA, David M. Angelo D. Norelli, 76, of Glassport, died Saturday, February 22, 2025, at home. Born July 13, 1948, in Frasso Telesino, Italy, he was the son of the late Domenico “Dom” and Marietta “Mary” Cecere Norelli. Retired from the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service, he served on Glassport Borough Council, member of Port Vue United Methodist Church, Glassport Senior Center and Glassport American Legion Post 443. He retired from US Steel Irvin Works.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret “Peg” Pierce Norelli; daughters, Angela Hart and Jennifer (Dennis) Norelli-Burke; grandchildren, Kassady and Mackenzie Burke, Angelo “AJ” Hart, and Eddie Shaw; brother, Frank Norelli; sister, Mary Louise Feterik; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 640 Vermont Ave., Glassport. Service will be conducted there Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mary Ann Sobeck, age 89 of North Huntingdon, passed away on February 22, 2025 at Independence Westmoreland Hospital. She was born on August 5, 1935 in Glassport, a daughter of the late John and Mary Kopchinski Gniazdowski . Mary Ann was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as the chief financial officer at John's Floral and Greenery. Mary Ann looked forward to watching Jeopardy and she liked to read Agatha Christie mystery novels. Most of all, she loved to watch her children and grandchildren play sports. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Gniadowski, and a son in law, Thomas Tkach. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 68 years Michael Sobeck, a son Michael B. Sobeck (Pam), three daughters Cynthia Tkach, Janet O'Dell (Paul), Mary Ann Stephenson (Jerry), one brother Frank Gniazdowski, a sister Stella Lokash (Robert), 7 grandchildren Sean O'Dell, Dori McGrew, Cheryl Tkach, Mark Stephenson, Michael Sobeck, Grace Sobeck, and Courtney Stephenson, and a great-grandchild on the way. Donald Dean Schehr, age 92 of North Huntingdon, passed away on February 20, 2025. He was born on September 14, 1932 in Rillton, a son of the late Frank Schehr and Hannah Plues Schehr. Dean was a graduate of Sewickley High School Class of 1950. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a Core Room worker for WABCO. Dean was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and he also liked to garden. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage and he often frequented local garage sales. Most of all, Dean loved to spend time with his children, twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by three brothers, August Schehr, Joseph Schehr, and Frank Schehr, and two sisters Isabelle Brocco and Viola Emili.
