Michael Ganley, age 71, of White Oak, died March 14, 2023, at UPMC East.  Born November 18, 1951, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Theresa (Lawley) Ganley.  Michael graduated from McKeesport High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Duquesne University.  Michael loved his daughter and cherished their trips to theme parks, with Disney being one of their favorites.

She retired as an investment assistant for the Drug Enforcement Agency in San Diego, CA. Born January 16, 1945 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late William and Helen (Burda) Kruszka. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Streeter of The Villages, FL; and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Randy and Larry Kruszka. Cynthia Ann (Coburn) Dragosin, age 72 of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born July 24, 1950 in Connellsville, she was a daughter of the late James Patrick Coburn, Sr. and Bernadine Yvonne (Mascara) Coburn. She attended Mount Mercy Women's College and California State College of Pennsylvania with a major in biology. Cynthia was a natural IT expert; as well as a certified Sony video conferencing specialist, audio and video scriptwriter, software trainer and did video production. Her expertise with animation software landed her into performing the computerized pencil test for Tom Petty's video "Running Down A Dream" and so many more accomplishments in all of her fields. She currently worked in operations for I Can Distribution in Pittsburgh and was a contract administrating agent with Can Research Laboratories Inc. through Dragosin Production Works.  Cynthia actively participated in her Catholic parishes all of her life: choir and guitarist, 2nd grade/Holy Communion and CCD teacher at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Dunbar and St. Clare of Assissi Church Clairton. She was also a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - St. Clare of Assisi Church, Clairton.

Marcy G. Westerlund, 63, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at home.
Born April 11, 1959 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Lois E. (Peterson) Gilmore.
Marcy was a musician and teacher, lover of learning new things and all-around happy camper. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Music Education and Performance from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and performed with the Three Rivers Saxophone Quartet for 25 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Richard J. Westerlund; adored daughter Kathryn L. Westerlund; dear sister Robyn S. Schilke; most-loved cousin Curt Pratt, the ”Keeper of the Koala,” and his wonderful wife Bo; best friend and Buddy Pal for 63 years Lisa Sandonato; and incredible mother-in-law Nancy T. “Grammy” Westerlund.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on April 11, 2023 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Larry Smith, 68, was born and raised in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He was the beloved son of the late Edward and Willie Lou Lewis. Larry entered this world on November 17, 1954, and peacefully departed this life on March 16, 2023.

Larry graduated from South High School. He retired in 2017, after being a Guard Attendant. Larry loved dancing and singing karaoke. He had an infectious smile; you can see him smiling all of the time.  Larry attended St. Luke Baptist church where he was on the Usher Board. He loved his family and friends, especially his aunt Caroline Spears; he just called her (aunt). He loved his aunt Linda Blake; she called him Bub. He also loved his uncle Al Smith, they were best friends. Not to mention, his nieces and nephews were his worlds.

She is survived by her grandchildren Shayne Paul, Mercedes Wolfe, and Jaime (Alyssa) Wright; great grandchildren Jaimeson Joseph Wright, Addison Vasilko, Aubrey Paul and Madison Husar; a sister Myrtle “Honey” Wright; also nieces and nephews. Prior to her retirement, Lois was an Avon Representative, administrative assistant for Newmark and a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church. Lois was an avid canine lover and enjoyed her time with her many special needs pups. She also loved to cook and crochet blankets for others. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her brothers, William Leader, and John Leader and his wife Marsha, as well as her brother-in-law Morris Decolati.
