She is the beloved wife of Daniel McElhinney for 42 years; mother of Daniel (Stephanie) McElhinney of South Park, Matthew McElhinney of West Mifflin, Nathan (Ashley) McElhinney of West Mifflin and Bridget McElhinney of Dravosburg; grandmother of Madison, Taylor, Cora and Gabriel McElhinney; sister of Jennifer Baker of Florida, Carol (Greg) Rock of West Mifflin, Ronald (Shannon) Golob of West Mifflin and Aly (late Rocky) Moore of Dravosburg. Peter Podunavac, age 94, of West Mifflin, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian. Born in Duquesne on August 8, 1927, he was the son of the late Sava and Theresa (Betics) Podunavac. He worked in general maintenance at Fisher Body and was a member of Teutonia Mannerchor Club, Duquesne. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps during World War II. Peter is survived by his son, Brian Podunavac of Daytona, FL; grandchildren, Jesse and Jasmine; stepson, William (Gene) Cavins of Florida; two step grandchildren Dr. Zachary (Erica) Cavins and Suzannah (Nicholas) Seibert and 5 step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Robert Podunavac; and caregiver, Elaine Bixler of West Mifflin. There is no visitation. Private burial will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, her daily cup of coffee, and was the most selfless person, always giving to others. Born July 5, 1949 in Wheeling, WV, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Alice (Grimm) Carper and wife of the late William E. Magyar. She is survived by her children, Adam Magyar of Elizabeth, Aubrey (Rudi) Sanutelli of Clairton and Andrew "Odie" (Donna) Magyar of Springdale; grandchildren, Aiden Sanutelli, Morgan Sanutelli, Lyla Jade Magyar, Meadow Sanutelli, Joscelyn McCarthy, Codie McCarthy and Addyson McCarthy; sisters, Marna Croyle of Clairton and Tawny Mooney of Tampa, FL; also, nieces and nephews. Born in McKeesport, May 18, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Luther M. and Anna M. (Krenitsky) Bovee. Mrs. Collins was a retired assistant manager from Rite-Aid Drug Company. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Collins. She is survived by a son, Adam R. Collins, a daughter, Ashley E. Collins, a brother, Martin L. (Patricia) Bovee, a sister, Jeannine D. (Late Raymond) Perhacs, cousin William Moravets, and several nieces and nephews.

Michael D. Kalkbrenner, 47 of West Newton, formerly of Glassport, passed away on Monday, January 31st, 2022, at Washington Hospital. He was born in McKeesport on February 14th, 1974, to Julius M. and the late Janet (Daugherty) Kalkbrenner. He is survived by his son Larz (Alexandria) Kalkbrenner of Port Vue, his father Julius Kalkbrenner of West Newton, and his granddaughter Emerson. Further survivors include his sisters Karen (David) Grey of Indiana and Janice (Todd) Truitt of Clairton, as well as nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his mother Janet (Daugherty) Kalkbrenner and sister Michelle Kalkbrenner. He enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his cat Orangie, and spending time on the computer. Arrangements have been entrusted to E.C. Joan enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and Bridge Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wilson in 2013, two brothers, Warren Miller, Howard Miller, three sisters, Jane Miller, Rose and Betty Burke. She is survived by her son Jay Wilson and his wife Jennifer, a daughter Karen Brill and her husband Donald, 5 grandchildren Sarah Wilson, Meghan Wilson ( Elizabeth), Kaylee Wilson, Molly Simmons (Keith), Brian Mays, several nieces and a nephew. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Saturday from 10-11 A.M. with a service to follow at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel.
