Vincent J. “Jimmy” Marino, age 81, passed away peacefully, at his home in New Port Richey, FL, on January 15, 2023. He was born on September 10, 1941, in Duquesne, PA, son of the late Vincent and Mary Marino. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Vince was the life of a party and made everyone laugh. He enjoyed Christmas time, cooking lots of food, and spending time with his family. Vince cherished his little dog, Misty (foo-foo). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Truxal. He is survived by his wife, Linda Marino; loving father to Scott Marino, Dean (Jen) Marino, Kimberly (John) Maywood and Misty (Brian) Suley; proud pappy to Kodi, Jakob, Marissa, Vinny and Maxine, Christopher; step children, Teresa, Trish (Derek), Christine and their children Chelsea, Brandea, Dylan, Jason, Brian, Michele; and several cousins and friends. Burial service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin, with Military Honors. July 15, 2023 at 10 am.

John F. Mazzarese, age 84, of West Mifflin, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Born in Pittsburgh on May 22, 1938, he was the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Abell) Mazzarese. He worked in sales, was Catholic by faith, was a member of the Friends of Bill W. for 41 years and also a member of the Friends of Jimmy K. He is the father of Angela Mazzarese of West Mifflin, Michelle Mazzarese of Pittsburgh and late John Mazzarese; 1 grandchild; 5 great grandchildren; and brother of Carmella (late Joseph) Keilly of Avalon, Angelo (Judy) Mazzarese of Port Allegheny, Michael (Vivian) Mazzarese of West Mifflin, Peter (late Louise Ann Brendza) Mazzarese of West Mifflin, Gordon (Jeannie) Mazzarese of West Mifflin and late Frank Mazzarese. Alison (Jill) Zora, 89, of McKeesport, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away at the Palms at O'Neil Personal Care Home on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023.  Alison (Jill) was born in Bootle, England on November 23, 1933 and is the daughter to the late Donald and Lillian McKinlay. She met her husband, American g.i., William Zora while he was stationed at Buttonwood Air Force Base, and they got married in 1953 in England.  After coming to the United States Alison (Jill) was a stay home housewife and mother. Alison (Jill) and William had 2 children, Eugene and Tammy. In the early 70' s she decided to join the workforce. She worked 3 Rivers Bank, Wayne Weil Carpeting, and Sears. After retiring from Sears, she started to travel on many adventures with her children. She then got an appetite for cruises; traveling to Alaska, Spain, France, Italy and most of the Mediterranean Islands. She had a very strong spirit, a mind of her own, and a great sense of adventure until recently when the illnesses took its toll. She loved her family, her grand-kitties, gambling, Reese's peanut butter cups, and Ben and Jerry's ice cream; Cherries Garcia flavor.

Betty Lois Heath, 94, of Greenock, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 at home. She was born June 28, 1928 in Jacobs Creek and was the daughter of the late Edward and Kathleen (Lancaster) Malone. She was the wife of the late Harry F. Heath who passed away February 4, 2010. They were married for 64 years. Betty was a faithful member of the Greenock United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens and the Greenock Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She worked the former Immel's in Eastland Shopping Center and had retired from the former McKeesport YMCA Camp Soles.

Veronica "Ronnie" Mary (Wurtz) Bodner-Lucas, 89, of Duquesne, died Jan. 20, 2023.  She is the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Wurtz and wife of the late Simon Bodner (1991) and Bernard Lucas (2019).  She is survived by her daughters Deborah (Robert) Kahl, Marie (Larry) Schultz and Cheryl (Robert) Harshman; son Charles Bodner; gandchildren Allison (Kahl) Cubberley, Elisha (Schultz) Belanger, Kristine (Schultz) Galloway, Keith Harshman, Jeff Harshman and Michele Harshman;  brother Ted Wurtz; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her sisters Anna Clark and Agnes Koch and brother Adam Wurtz.  Ronnie was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne on Wed. from 10 to 11 am.  A funeral mass will be held 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church with Father Tom Lewandowski.  Inurnment following Holy Name Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.

Winkler, 75, of Irwin, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023.  He was born January 28, 1947 in McKeesport, a son of the late Donald and Helen Winkler.  Prior to his retirement, Ralph was a foundry worker for WABCO and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War era.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting and fishing, visiting casinos, playing the lottery and cards, and especially loved being a granddad.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Winkler; brothers, David and Donald.  He is survived by his son, Steve; daughters, Deann Hays, Darcy Peer and her husband, Dennis; sister, Susan; grandchildren, Christopher, Collin, Michael, Kari, Kylee, Annabelle; and great-granddaughter, Alexis.  Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. on Monday at the James W. David M. Forrester, Jr., age 44 of Clairton, passed away at home Tuesday, January 17, 2023.  Born July 5, 1978 in Pittsburgh, he was the beloved son of David M. Forrester Sr. who preceded him in death, and Beverly M. (Bahila) Hutchinson of Clairton.  David affectionately known as Dave, attended Clairton High School. He was a member of the Teamsters Union # 1058 and drove for Steel City Trucking.  Dave was an avid pool player and regularly attended pool leagues and tournament play.  He enjoyed camping, travelling, and outdoor activities.  Dave collected all things big and small and enjoyed having a good laugh.  He was a self-taught mechanic known to be able to fix anything.  He especially loved Fourth of July fireworks with his family.   Dave is survived by his mother Beverly (Brian) Hutchison of Clairton; his daughters Davae and Destini Forrester, and their mother the late Ashley McLaughlin, and Brooklyn and Josephine Forrester, and their mother Misty Laverick of Clairton; his sister Christina (Bruce) Montgomery of Baltimore; his uncles Eugene (Michaelene) Forrester, James (Dot) Forrester, and Richard (Ginger) Tracey; hisniece and nephews Danielle, Carvonne, Nathan, Carson, Noah, Cash and Julus; and also a multitude of cousins, close family, and friends.

Elizabeth (Betty) Marie Andriko

Elizabeth (Betty) Marie Andriko (née Evanish), 97, died January 17, 2023.

Born November 15, 1925 in Turtle Creek, PA to Nicholas and Catherine Evanish, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis Andriko, Sr., whom she married in 1950, her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

Betty was involved for many years with Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Christian Mothers, and frequently volunteered at St. Joseph Parish in Duquesne, PA. She made lifelong memories and friendships working in a pharmacy for 45 years, first at Ayres Pharmacy in McKeesport, then at Penn Taft Pharmacy in West Mifflin, finally retiring at age 87. She lived 70 years in her own home, spoiling her cat, spending time with neighbors, and completing hundreds of word puzzles. She remained active even after moving to New Kensington to live with her son.

Betty was outgoing, generous, caring, and funny. She is survived by her son Louis (Susan) Andriko, Jr.; grandchildren MaryElizabeth (John) Andriko-Moore, Kathryn (Joseph) Morosky, both of Pittsburgh, PA; and Michael (Jessi) Andriko, of Elkins, WV.  She dearly loved her great-grandchildren, Sabine Andriko-Moore and Nikola Andriko, and was eagerly looking forward to meeting another great-grandson due in April.

Carol Fay (Dalton) Neyman, 89 of Dravosburg, passed away on Monday, January 16th, 2023, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. She was born in Pittsburgh on February 27th, 1933, to the late James and Leona (Mayer) Dalton. Carol was the loving wife of many years to the late Leroy Neyman, Sr. She is survived by her daughters Carolee (late James H.) Burns of White Oak, Lori (Jace) Younge of Elizabeth Township, and her sons Wayne (Twila) Neyman of Dravosburg and Leroy (Claudette) Neyman, Jr. of Elizabeth Township. Further survivors include sister Beverly LaManna of Baldwin, as well as her loving grandchildren Shanne, Wayne, Dale, Abbey, Cody, Kayla, Kerri, Dane, Dillon, Ty, and Kacie. She is additionally survived by great-grandchildren Aiden, Colton, Maddox, Easton, Spence, Sophia, Nolan, Josie, Lane, Lake, and Myka, as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her daughter Kathleen McCall and brother Thomas Dalton. She enjoyed playing the organ, sewing, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, visiting her cabin in Tionesta, and playing cards. She was also known to go swimming and walking with her friends. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 19th, 2023, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at I.M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St, Dravosburg, PA 15034. A service will take place at 10 AM on Friday, January 20th, 2023, at the Saints Joachim and Anne (formerly the Queen of the Rosary Parish), located at 530 Michigan Ave, Glassport, PA 15045. Loving mom of Robin (Kevin) Barcus, Glenn (Gina) Stoll and William Stoll jr. Special grandma of 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Special sister to Andrew Macey Sr. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and all who loved her.

Glenda was a light in the world. Always wearing a smile on her face everywhere she went. She enjoyed taking pictures and spending time with family. She made people feel special, always remembering any important event with cards and messages. She enjoyed writing daily in her journals and living her life for the Lord.
