Terry E. Wagner, age 78, of Buena Vista, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was a retired machinist and fireman for U.S. Steel Clairton Works. A Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he was a lifetime member and former chief of the Buena Vista Volunteer Fire Company and a former member of the Mon-Yough Fire Defense Council. He was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Crescent City, FL and spent his winters in Daytona Beach, FL since 1999. He was an avid gardener, hunter, NASCAR, and Bluegrass music fan. He spent many summers on his mountain in Meyersdale hunting with his nephews, David and Josh. Born September 9, 1943 in Indiana, he was a son of the late Owen C. and Iva D. (Cessna) Wagner. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Wagner of Elizabeth Twp. and Lisa (James Letham) Wagner of Buena Vista; sister, Irene (John) Shaffer of Ebensburg; Jennifer and Lisa's mother, Karen Wagner of Elizabeth Twp.; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dwight, Milford and Wayne Wagner, and nephews, Darren and Tommy Wagner and Gregg "Buddy" Leipertz Jr. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 3-7 PM. A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Charles Albert “Chuck” Zwingler III, 66 of West Mifflin, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital. He was born in McKeesport on July 1, 1955, to Lois (Cochran) and the late Charles A. Zwingler Jr. Chuck was the loving husband of 21 years to Luanne (McWilliams) Zwingler. He is survived by his mother Lois Zwingler of Clairton, wife Luanne of West Mifflin, sons Charles IV and John (Alexis) Zwingler of Jacksonville, Florida, stepson Matthew (Suzanne) Hickey of West Mifflin, and stepdaughter Amanda (Michael) Pippi of South Park. Further survivors include his sister Debbie (Ronald) Lieberum of Greenock, grandchildren Brynlie, Emmett, Violet, Nora, Isabella, and Liam, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephew, and his beloved dog Libby. Chuck was preceded in death by his father and grandchild Nico Pippi. He enjoyed playing golf, motorcycles, working on cars, singing in the Pine Run United Methodist Church’s choir, and building wooden furniture. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 4-8 p.m. at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A service will take place in the funeral home on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. He is survived by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Barchie of Mt Juliet, TN, and over 23 nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Edith Esther (Cipriani) Wynn, brothers John (Jack) G. Wynn of Hilton Head, SC, Francis Xavier Wynn of Pahrump, NV, James Miller Wynn of White Oak, PA and Charles Richard Wynn of West Hills, CA. He was a retired teacher from the Diocese of Pittsburgh Schools, held an extensive knowledge of American history, and was an avid reader.

Peters, 63, of Bartlett, TN, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022.  He was born January 12, 1958 in Youngstown, OH, a son of Margaret (Biscoe) Peters and the late James Peters.  Jay was the director of brewing for Blue City Brewing with 35 plus years of service working in the brewery industry.  He was highly respected by his superiors and subordinates and he reached the pinnacle level of master brewing.  He was a member of St. Agnes Church.  Jay's greatest passion in life was his family and he had an infectious smile and a warm laugh and was the happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends.  He is survived by his wife, Jill (Dunn) Peters; son, Kristopher J. Peters and his wife, Mandy; Carly Bishop and her husband, Michael, Jayne Casteel and her husband, Trevor; sisters, Jimette (Al) Spinelli, Jill (Chuck) Seik, Jan (Dwight) Harley; grandchildren, Sydni, Rylee, Jacob, Charlotte Jay, Molly, Penny; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the James W. After high school, Sean began his career with Potts Plastering. Artie, a long time friend, is the one who opened Sean's world to something he loved, the art of plastering. He then moved on to becoming a laborer, which led to an apprenticeship and then a journeyman for the PLaster's Union Local #31 with Ram Acoustical Inc.

Kenneth Richard Mansfield, age 88, of Port Vue, passed away on January 5th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 18th, 1933, to Merle and Anne Webster Mansfield in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He was the cherished husband of 70 years to the late Shirley Ann Mansfield, who passed away on September 30th, 2021. A loving father to his four children, and a caring pappy to all of his grandkids. Ken was a retired Head Clerk in the Accounting Office for U. S. Steel, Irvin Works, with 44 years of service. He was the chairman of the grievance committee and Vice President of Salary Local #4090 and a member of S.O.A.R. #15-7 Irvin. He was also a member of the Port Vue Old Timers softball league and the Tuesday night pinochle crew. He was a little league baseball coach for many years at Port Vue Athletic Association, coaching his sons and then later his grandson. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed trips to the Meadows Casino and taking his family on annual vacations to the mountains. He was his grandchildren’s biggest and loudest fan, relishing in all of their endeavors. Ken had a boisterous personality and a witty sense of humor. His heart was made of gold and melted every time his grandchildren and great-grandchildren entered the room.

James R. "Jim" Lomis, age 78 of Munhall and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 in Eldercrest Nursing Center, Munhall.  Born October 14, 1943 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Margaret Lomis. Jim was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clairton and participated in the Special Olympics, winning medals in bowling.  An avid Ricky Nelson Fan, he loved listening to his records.  Jim enjoyed strumming the guitar, tinkering with electronics, juke boxes, watching “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet,” playing bingo, and going to Kennywood.  Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family.  Jim was survived by his numerous cousins.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his aunt and caretaker Irene Helman and his grandfather John Lomis.
