Joseph C. Jordan, age 70, of White Oak, formerly of McKeesport, died December 6, 2021, at Canterbury Place. Born December 5, 1951, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Lawrence D. and Amelia (Gregory) Jordan, and best friend and life partner of Karen Miller.

Joe retired from Frank's Auto Supermarket, where he worked in the delivery department. He was a US Army veteran serving during peacetime. Joe had a passion for working on automobiles and building model cars.

Along with his partner, Karen, he is also survived by his children, Dominic (Ashley) Jordan of SC, Angelo Jordan of Mon-City, Robert Jordan of Wilmerding, Steven Estes of TX, Jim Jordan and Charity Jordan of McKees Rocks; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Slebodnik of Duquesne, Donna DeFrances, and Joanna Rodreiguez both of McKeesport; also many nieces and nephews.

Klara Horvath Kovacs, 94, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at Walden's View.  She was born, May 31, 1927 in Dunavecse, Hungary, a daughter of the late Albert and Erzsebet (Daranyi) Horvath.  Prior to her retirement, Klara was owner - operator of Straw Pump Auto Body Panels and a member of West Hempfield Presbyterian Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kovacs, son-in-law, Leonard Matta; sisters, Zsuzsa and Gizella; brothers, Zsigmond and Imre from Hungary; and brother, Albert of N. Huntingdon.  She is survived by her daughter, Marta Kovacs Matta (Terry Baker); granddaughter, Lindsey Matta (Matthew Corrie); sister, Jolan of New Zealand and Amal of Hungary; great-granddaughter, Sadie Faith Corrie; and nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews here and abroad.  There will be no visitation.  Interment will be private in Brush Creek Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners.  Arrangements made by the James W. Antoinette N. "Toni" Dusi, age 84, of Forward Twp., passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Arrowood at Southwestern. Born April 1, 1937 in Forward Twp., she was a daughter of the late Giammaria and Ida (Bosetti) Dusi. She is survived by sister, Ida Jean Hansen of Forward Twp.; brothers, Frank Dusi of West Mifflin, Ernest Dusi of Forward Twp. and Al Dusi of Elizabeth Twp.; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Catherine Heckman and Annie Rothey, and brothers, Andrew, John, Samuel, Paul and George Dusi. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Mickeline "Mickey" Urbanski

Mickeline "Mickey" M. Urbanski, 78, of Elizabeth, died Dec. 3, 2021.  She is the daughter of the late Paul and Giovanna "Jenny" (Fusco) Massaro and beloved wife of the late Eugene "Gene" Urbanski and William Muse.  She is survived by her brother Joseph (Mary) Massaro; sister Philomena (the late Michael) Popovich; nieces, nephews, cousins and also many great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sisters Antoinette Massaro and Mary (the late John) Fedore; nephew Richard Popovich and niece Paula Fedore.  Mickey was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and worked for South Allegheny School District for 23 years and then Elizabeth Forward School District for 13 years doing payroll.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Thurs. from 2 to 8.  A funeral mass will be  held Fri. at 10:00 am at Queen of the Rosary Church with Father Miroslaus Wojcicki officiating.  Entombment following New St. Joseph Cemetery.

He retired as a representative for Highmark in Pittsburgh and was a member of the former Elizabeth Wesleyan Church. Born May 13, 1944 in Jefferson Borough, he was a son of the late Keith and Velma (Brown) Boal. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nancy A. (Van Fossen) Boal; sister, Marilyn (George) Hudak of Jefferson Hills; brother, Keith Boal of Sacramento, CA; brothers-in-law, Dennis Van Fossen and William (Maryanne) Van Fossen, both of Elizabeth; sister-in-law, Arlene Van Fossen of Elizabeth; also, nieces and nephews. Lori Ann Fritz, 55, of Elizabeth Township, was called home to her Lord on Sunday, December 5, 2021 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. She was born September 20, 1966 in McKeesport and was the daughter of Kathleen (Vennebush) Howell of Boston  and the late Robert E. Howell. She was a graduate of Edinboro University and worked as a RN BSN for over 26 years for UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Lori was a member and a Deacon at Round Hill Presbyterian Church. She belonged to the Sutersville Moose, WMBU in Blythedale, and was the "Hoagie Queen", registrar and nurse for her beloved EF church camp at Cresfield. Lori was an extraordinary wife, spectacular mother, loving daughter, great sister, loyal cousin and a fierce friend. She always looked out for people's needs.  Lori was loved by one and all and will be greatly missed.

Anselm, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Arden Courts, Monroeville.  She was born June 17, 1938 in Jefferson Borough, a daughter of the late John and Jean (Farber) Wallace.  Prior to her retirement, Irene was a bank teller for Clairton National Bank and various savings and loans as well as secretarial work.  She was a longtime member of St. Agnes Parish and  enjoyed aerobics, cross country traveling, fishing, bowling, camping and water skiing.   She is survived by her husband, Raymond Anselm; son, Clete Anselm and his wife, Lisa; daughter, Kristin Stanchik and her husband, John; sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Vansickle, Patricia Mollenauer; grandchildren, Kayleigh and Aubrey Anselm, Jacob and Megan Stanchik.  Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Louis V. Kruszewski, age 78, of West Mifflin, passed away on December 4, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital. Son of the late Aloysius and Irene K. (Frederick) Kruszewski, he was born in Pittsburgh on April 20, 1943. He was a retired Electronic Technician, a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-St. Agnes Church, built model airplanes, coached little league baseball in West Mifflin, enjoyed anything science fiction, and was an amateur historian on WWII. Louis proudly served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He is the beloved husband of Adrienne (Horvath) Kruszewski for 53 years: father of Joseph (Ruby) Kruszewski of El Paso, TX, Irene (Dale) Bargar of East Berlin, PA, Matthew (Holly) Kruszewski of Bethel Park, James (Natalie) Kruszewski of Baldwin, Louis M. (Amanda Opalko) Kruszewski of Port Vue and Mark (Nicole) Kruszewski of Pittsburgh; 12 Grandchildren; brother of Rita (Bill) Crozier of Valencia. Robert Weis, 64, a life-long resident of Forward Twp., peacefully passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Baldwin Health Center. Born February 10, 1957 in Braddock, he was the youngest son of Donald H. Weis and Claire (Jenkins) Fekula. For most of his working life, Bob was a heavy equipment operator/foreman for his stepfather, Carl Fekula, at Carl Fekula Inc. Bob was always working with his hands, from “dirty work” to “domestic work,” fixing vehicles, small engine repair, tinkering, painting, cooking, sewing, and even makeup application. Fixing and repairing items for others was how he showed his love. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy (Bilak) Weis; daughter, Nikki (Nick) Racer; brothers, Donald H. (Connie) Weis of Virginia Beach, VA, Jeffrey G. (Julie) Weis of Corpus Christi, TX, and Carl P. (Denise) Fekula of Monongahela; sister, Debbie (Weis) Esposito of Stony Brook, NY; mother-in-law, Patricia (Benich) Bilak; also, nieces and nephews. Stegner, age 81 of McKeesport, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born December 5, 1939 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late John and Lucy (Werner) Kiger.  A retired head teller for Compass Bank in WIlmerding, Judith was a member of Monroeville Assembly of God Church.  She joins her husband, the late Franklin M. Always the brightest smile in the room, Cynthia A. “Cindy” (Funk) Bates, 58, of West Mifflin, passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, in the Jefferson Hospital ICU due to Covid complications.

Beloved daughter of Ronald and Patricia (Dancak) Funk of White Oak, formerly of West Mifflin, she was born Feb. 22, 1963, in McKeesport. A 1981 graduate of West Mifflin North High School, she was a customer service representative/nonclinical technician with Express Scripts in Irwin for many years and was formerly employed in the pharmacy at Rite Aid in West Mifflin.

She is survived by her parents; son, James Bates (Tiffany Phillips) of Grindstone; granddaughter, Sophia, who was the light of Cindy’s life; brother, Thomas Funk (Kirsten Pastrick) of North Huntingdon; sister, Diane (Peter) Mills of Naples, Fla.; aunts, Alberta (late Rich) Webb and Barbara (late David) Funk; cousins, Richard Webb and Phillip Webb; nieces, Amie and Claire; great niece, Olivia; and many very dear friends.

A caring daughter, thoughtful sister and niece, great mom and proud grandmother, Cindy could always be counted on. Whether taking care of her parents, being out with friends, or playing with her granddaughter (which she liked best), Cindy had the greatest smile, bubbly personality and a terrific attitude!

She especially loved spending time with her boyfriend, Steve Bower, and they recently were able to enjoy a trip to Sturgis with friends.

So full of life, Cindy had such a beautiful bright soul and was easy to talk to and very understanding.

Friends will be received Wednesday Dec. 8, 2021, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. in the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home, Inc., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, (412-466-3300). A blessing will be offered there Thursday at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Duquesne.

Christina Bolen White, 52, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 2, 2021. She was a caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was born on October 1, 1969, in Uniontown, and is the daughter of Cecelia Bolen, of West Newton, and the late James Bolen. She was the wife of Byron White II, of Elizabeth Twp., and mother of Brittany Bolen (David), of Washington, DC, the late Breonna Nicole White, and Tyler White, of Elizabeth Twp.  She was the daughter-in-law of Donna White, of Buena Vista. She was the sister of Celia Duncan (Mark), of New Salem, and Lisa Arellano (Peter), of Sea Ranch, CA., and the sister-in-law of Desiree Hodge (Dave), of Hendersonville, TN. She was the aunt of James Paris, Sean Paris (Joanna), Nolan Kroeker (Megan), Allan Huggins (Samantha), Nader Elaskary, and Kyra and Ashlyn Hodge. She was the great-aunt of Jude, Vivian, Frank, and Sienna Paris, Atlas Kroeker, and Jackson and Christian Huggins. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Byron White, and nephew, Cameron Kroeker. Christina was the Comptroller of Americo Construction Co. and all of its associated development companies and real estate holdings for over 25 years. She cherished spending time with family and friends. She loved hosting at her home and would often have a house full of kids over the weekend, swimming in the pool and playing games in the backyard. She was passionate about volunteering and giving to others, and enjoyed decorating for every occasion, planting flowers, and planning vacations with family and friends. She was full of life and would light up every room she entered.
