Anna Susan Durik, age 98, formerly of Duquesne, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Forbes Hospital. Anna was born on May 20, 1923, in McKeesport, to the late Andrew and Mary (Chernak) Durik. Anna graduated from Duquesne High School and Duff’s Business School. She retired from U.S. Steel-Duquesne Work as a supervisor in tabulating. She was a devout Christian and member of St. John Mark Lutheran Church in Homestead. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Andrew P. (late Mary) Durik, John Durik, Olga (Albert) Gould, and Irene Durik and her great nephew, Dillon Clutter. Anna is survived by niece, Mary Jane (Larry) Zadonick, nephew, Jay Gould, niece, Gloria (Eugene) Tutera and niece, Lois (Glenn) Clutter; great nephews, Aaron Zadonick, Michael (Janelle) Tutera, Ryan (Carey) Tutera and Marshall Clutter; and great-great nephews, John and David Tutera. There is no visitation. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 12:00 Noon, at the McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery, with Boniface officiating. Dolores "DoDo" Loop, 89 of Duquesne, died Oct. 23, 2021.  She is the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Legerski) Novak and sister of the late Robert Novak and Barbara Jean Hall.  DoDo was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish; Rosary Society and served as a lector.  She was a retired secretary for Westinghouse Bettis, where she worked for over 44 years.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, on Wed. from 1 to 4.  A funeral mass will be held Thurs. at 10am at Holy Name Church with Father Tom Lewandowsky.  Interment following St. Hedwig Cemetery.

She was the wife of the late George Michael Lawrence who passed away January 16, 1975. Elizabeth was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St Robert  Bellarmine Church, and the Polish Women's Alliance. She had a strong Catholic Faith and was proud of her Polish heritage. William A. “Chip” Chepanoske, age 84, of Forward Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at home. He was a retired draftsman for Westinghouse in Jefferson Hills and was also a taxidermist and the founder of Trophy Crossroads Taxidermy Studio. He was a minister for more than 40 years and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Monongahela. A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a past board member for the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center, a lifetime member of the NRA, and a master in tang soo do karate. Born March 16, 1937 in Duquesne, he was a son of the late Anthony and Margaret Chepanoske and husband of the late Marian (Andrejchak) Chepanoske. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Ashcraft of Elizabeth Twp.; sons, Anthony (Andrea) Chepanoske of Buena Vista, William Chepanoske of Lakeside, AZ and David Chepanoske of Sewickley; five grandchildren, Shane (Nicole) Smith, Danielle (Wesley) Miller, Taryn Chepanoske, Brent Smith and Mike Chepanoske; three great-grandchildren, Carson Smith, Brent Smith and Payton Miller; brother, Anthony (Jean) Chepanoske of Duquesne; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, John Chepanoske. Friends will be received in the Paul E. John Chepanoske, age 58, of Forward Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at home. He was a customer service assistant at Dollar Bank in Penn Hills and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Monongahela. He was a gifted musician and the pianist at the church. He was a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania where he majored in education and also a graduate of Community College of Allegheny County where he majored in accounting. John loved collecting and displaying flags and kites. Born October 16, 1963 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late William A. “Chip” Chepanoske and Marian (Andrejchak) Chepanoske. Linda Keenan, 64, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She was born, August 17, 1957 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Reid and JoAnne (Giles) Keenan.  Prior to her retirement, Linda worked as a cook for various health care facilities.  She enjoyed cooking, the company of her three dogs and loved spending time with her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marissa Shipley, and brother, Kevin Keenan,  She is survived by her sons, James and Mike; daughters, Jennifer Keenan, Jessica Smith and her husband, Daniel; brother, James Keenan; sisters, Kim Rosensteel and her husband, Ken, Cheryl Oliver; and grandchildren, Cameron, Hunter, Alexa, Delaney, Tyler, Jersey, Brea, Bailey, Michael, Noah and Landen.  Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. on Monday at the James W. Dolly retired from Walmart Inc., where she worked in the customer service department with over 20 years of service. She was a former member of the Highland Grove United Methodist Church. Dolly enjoyed attending bingo, visiting the casino, playing cards with friends, and having lunch, ending with a trip to the flea market. Although, her greatest joy was the time she spent with her grandchildren.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lillian Marie Irha, 90, announces her passing on October 16, 2021 in Glen Allen, Virginia. Lillian, née Yanchik, died peacefully at home, surrounded by love.

Lillian was born in Homestead, Pennsylvania on June 30, 1931. A 1949 graduate of Munhall High School, Lillian married John J. Irha of Homestead, Pennsylvania in September 1952. They had three children together: Sandra, Nancy, and Daniel.

Described by friends and family as “feisty, unfiltered, and absolutely fabulous,” Lillian was known for her hearty, bubbly giggle and her fun-loving, social personality. She always made it a point to keep in touch with family and friends, whether near or far. Lillian enjoyed dancing, bowling and cards, as well as entertaining at her lovely home. She especially loved bingo and delighted in sharing her quite-frequent winnings with her grandchildren. Lillian, a faithful Catholic, was a lifelong parishioner of Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cathedral of Munhall, Pennsylvania.

Ann Elizabeth (Wilcox) Sant, 77, of Level Green passed away October 15, 2021. Born in McKeesport on July 30, 1944, to the late Robert and Sadie (Betras) Wilcox, she attended McKeesport High School, resided with her growing family in McKeesport  until moving to Level Green in 1974.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her only brother,  Michael Wilcox and her son-in-law, Todd Everhart.

Ann is lovingly remembered by her eleven children with former spouse, Russell J. Sant. Her children include Shawn S. Sant, Jodi R. Everhart, Joni R. Sant, Jayne R. Totora, Russell J. Sant, Jennifer R. Sant, Jacqueline R. Sant (Matt), Robert J. Sant (Laura), Sarahann S. Sant, Reed J. Sant and Rory J. Sant.

Ann is also survived by 14 grand-children: Kevin, Ryan, Robert, Tabytha, Athina, Shawn, Samuel, Stephanie, Racheal, Jennifer, Michael, Elizabeth, Susan and Matthew; 13 great-grand-children, 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

She is survived by her brothers, Dr. James (Debora) Ragan of Los Angeles, CA and Thomas (Lynne) Ragan of Duquesne and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
