Frederick E. Zoerb, 90, of Irwin, formerly of Somerset, passed into our Lord’s merciful and healing embrace on July 26, 2022. Born on May 1, 1932 to Frederick W. and Margaret E. (Voelker) Zoerb. Fred was a graduate of McKeesport High School, a veteran of the Korean War, an employee of Duquesne Light during which his long tenure culminated in the managerial position before retirement. Fred was predeceased by his sister, Marion J. Lloyd; son, Dale A. Zoerb; wife of 51 years, Mary Ellen (Nordin) and his second wife of 15 years, Florence (Spano). Fred lived life to the fullest enjoying all aspects of shooting including hunting, targets, and reloading. He spent years raising and racing pigeons. He worked hard to earn a license to pilot small aircraft. In retirement, Fred fulfilled a lifelong dream of operating his own small farm including livestock, hayfields, Kubota equipment and a huge barn. As he aged, Fred became quite the wordsmith and was published by a number of magazines including Game News & Reminise, as well as by several newspapers. Fred took great joy in crafting personal limericks for family and friends. Frederick is survived by his son, Fred A. Zoerb; and his daughter, Deborah A. Weeks, “Dotter”. Fred was a unique, often humorous, grandfather who enjoyed many special activities and adventures with James Zeminiski, “James Arfer” (Sarah) and Jonathan Zeminski, “Yunco” (Kristen) who lovingly nicknamed him “Fezziwig” and “Pappapio”. He was a caring and thoughtful Pappap to Peter Weeks, “The Esquire” (Kristy) and to his one and only granddaughter, Angela Weeks, “Angela Mia”. Because Fred was blessed with many long and healthy years, he was able to share time with and chuckle over the personalities and shenanigans of his five great-grandchildren, Carter, Izzy, Elijah, Wyatt and Chloe. Fred will be deeply missed by all who ever experienced the pleasure of his company (including conversations with his limited Japanese learned while in the service), be it family or friends. Because Fred had a special place in his heart for Norwin Area Meals on Wheels, donations to that helpful organization, in lieu of flowers, may be made. Patrice M. Moody, 68, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Forbes Regional Hospital.  She was born March 11, 1954 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Baldauf) Raber.  Prior to her retirement, Patrice was a secretary for Dowling Insurance Company and was a member of Norwin Christian Church.  She enjoyed attending Bible study and riding her horse, Jody.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Moody.  She is survived by her sons, John Moody (Jenn), Brian Moody and his wife, Molly; brother, James Raber; sister, Linda (Frank) Raczkiewicz; grandchildren, Cora, Isaac, Adalind, Hudson and Raelynn.  Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the James W. Phillip A. Lazzaro, 72 of  Forest Hills died July 24, 2022 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oakland. He was born January 16, 1950 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph and Catherine Ossler Lazzaro. Phillip was an entrepreneur in the food and restaurant industry. He enjoyed playing pool, food, cooking, entertaining, cards, bowling, travel, but most especially spending time with his family. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the war in Vietnam.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony "Opie" Lazzaro . He is survived by his beloved wife, Dolores, two daughters, Natalie Lockhart and her husband Logan, Stephanie Adeniran and her husband Olamilekan, three brothers, Michael, Stephen (Janet), Richard (Adrienne) Lazzaro, three sisters, Joann and Patricia Lazzaro, Mary Beth Kernan (Timothy), one grandchild, Samson Adeniran.  Visitation will be held Sunday from 3-7 P.M. and a funeral service will be held at 7 P.M in the funeral home chapel.  Military Honors will be held at 1:30 P.M. The last of the four beautiful Milburn sisters has been called home by our Heavenly Father. Dorothy Mae Debrason passed away peacefully in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh on July 22, 2022.
Born June 20, 1931, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Milton Homer and Dolores Regina (nee Dore) Milburn and the wife of the late Lewis Debrason.
Dorothy leaves behind her son, William Ray Debrason and wife Margaret, her daughter, Dolores Regina Adair and husband Michael; granddaughters, Elizabeth Grace Ward and husband Robert, Victoria Mae Debrason, Mary Ann Lehman and husband Daniel, and Billie Kathryn Debrason-Perez and husband Alfonso, Indea Leah Adair and fiancee Lindsay Fischetti; grandsons, Zachary Michael Proskin and Michael Lee Adair Jr and wife Rachel; great-grandchildren, Sara, Evelyn, Jocelyn, McKayla, Lauralyn, Rayanne, Janelle, Valerie, Hayden, Matthew, Adriana, Jonathan and Julie and all of her beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dawn Lynn Yauch, 74 of West Mifflin and McKeesport went to heaven on July 24, 2022.  She was born Nov. 24, 1947 in McKeesport.  Daughter of the late LaVerna and William Watson.  She was a graduate of West Mifflin North High School and Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.  Previously employed by Styles by Santone for many years and was a member of the Homeville Christian Church in West Mifflin.  Dawn was an 11 year transplant survivor.  She is survived by her son Joshauh William Yauch of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sister Cheryl Watson Vandall of North Huntingdon; nephews Jeffrey (Rebecca) Vandall with sons Will and Ben of Arlington, VA and Todd (Barbara) Vandall with sons Finn and Leo of Graz, Austria.  Funeral arrangements by Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne.  A memorial service will be held on Aug. 13, 2022 at Noon with a repast to follow at the Homeville Christian Church in West Mifflin.  Memory contributions may be made to Homeville Christian Church in her memory.

Ellis Mae Stonecipher, age 85 of North Huntingdon died July 25, 2022 at home. She was born July 19, 1937 in Woodland, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Frank and Martha Wofford Darby. Prior to her retirement, Ellis was the public service director for Turtle Creek Council of Government. She enjoyed painting with oils and pastels, and    jewelry making. Ellis attended Oakridge High School and graduated from Clinton High School. She was preceded in death by her husband Nathan K. in 2018. She is survived by her son, Robert Russell and his wife Sherri, a daughter, Martha Gold and her husband Andrew, 4 grandchildren, Lauren Ludovicy (Paul), Lindsay Penn, Nathan and Rachel Stonecipher, great grandchild  Judith Corvina. He was a 1959 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College, a 1961 graduate of Carnegie Institute of Technology, a 1964 graduate of Case Institute of Technology and a 1968 graduate of Case Western Reserve University. He was an avid actor and singer in little theater, a published historical novelist, and enjoyed outdoor sports and activities. Born September 23, 1938 in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late Richard E. and Mary Irene (Patton) Schwirian. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lydia J. Robert "Bob" Braun, 82, of White Oak, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022. He was born on Crawford Street in Duquesne on November 25, 1939 and is the son of the late George M. and Emma (Padjen) Braun. His family moved to Elizabeth Township when he was eight years old. Bob married the late Marian (Markovic) Braun on May 9, 1975. His first job was a parking lot attendant for Balsamo's. Along with his father George; he operated a gas station on Walnut Street in McKeesport, while they each had other jobs. Bob was at Christy Park Mill and his father was at Duquesne U.S. Steel Mill. He also worked at Edgar Thompson Steel Mill from which he retired. He was the go to man if you needed anything done, he was always willing to help. Bob belonged to the Eleventh Ward Club in Christy Park and the Croation Fraternal Union of Versailles. He may have been raised in Elizabeth Township, but he spent a lot of time in McKeesport where he had many friends, even the McKeesport police. He loved to tell stories of his life in McKeesport while keeping those in his presence laughing. He had a good recollection of his life.

(McGowan) Siler.  A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - Holy Spirit Church in West Mifflin, Albert worked at US Steel's Homestead Works, was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of the AARP Chapter #1612 in Clairton.  He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Suzanne (Harrigan) Siler; his sons Daniel (Nadine) Siler of Claridge and David (Maryann) Siler of St. John's, FL; his daughters Linda  (James) Wolfe of Moon Twp., Karen (Thomas) Welfer of Robinson Twp., and Kristin (John) Selnekovic of Robinson Twp.; his six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; his sisters and brothers, Rose M. (James) Sedley of Mt. Jerrel D. Casey Barnes, age 25, of Pittsburgh, died July 21, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born September 21, 1996, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Bruce Barnes and Janell Casey.
Jerrel enjoyed drawing, watching anime, playing video games, and listening to Christian rock. He also took photos of buses and had a bus fanning YouTube channel. Jerrel was looking forward to attending CCAC in the fall to pursue a degree in graphic design.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Kirklan and Bruce and his sister, Llenaj, and adopted brother, Ricky Rivers; maternal grandmother, Harriet Casey; paternal grandmother, Yevette Barnes; Uncles, Jermaine and Jerrel Casey, John Johnson, and Tom and Andre Barnes and a host of cousins, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Curtis Casey, and paternal grandfather, Thomas Barnes.
