She is survived by daughters Kathy (Lupe Ornelas) Carrick and Donna Adame; son John (Bill McDonald) Carrick; grandchildren April Adame, Kalley Adame, and Shawna (Sonny) Carapella; great-grandchildren Harry, Eli, Stella, and Ezra; sister Grace Vargo; and many nieces and nephews. He was born April 14, 1961 in McKeesport and was the son of Gladys (Panzek) Abels of Dravosburg and the late Ronald "Raz" Abels. Randy retired from US Steel Irvin Works. He was a volunteer at the Sisters of the Divine Redeemer in Elizabeth Township where he loved to walk his buddy, Rocky. Randy loved to hunt and fish with his brother Moose as they and friends spent many hours in the outdoors. Randy was a loving father, husband and friend to everyone. His helping hand and tough love will be missed by many.

Michael C. “Mickey” Greenwalt, age 61 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away after a long battle on Friday, October 1, 2021 in Jefferson Hospital.  Mickey was born on April 22, 1960 to the late Joan (Baker) Smithhammer.  He was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Teamsters Union and worked as a facilities operator for Watco Companies in Dravosburg. Mickey is survived by his father, Wayne Smithhammer of Erie; his loving wife Tracy (Tate) Greenwalt; his son Brandon (Heather) Greenwalt of Georgia; his stepdaughter Olesha (James) Arries of Idaho; his stepson Kavan (Lindsey Gosen) Cubra of Ohio; his grandchildren Haylen, Jackson, Karley, Bobby and Eli; his sister-in-law Kim Greenwalt of Belle Vernon; his sister Amy Smithhammer of Liberty Boro; his niece Kristi (Jeremy) Gibson; and his great-niece-and-nephew Liam and Layla. Besides his mother, Mickey was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Greenwalt who passed away September 14, 2006.

Jim was an Army veteran, serving in Europe during the Korean War. He was an usher and member of St. Joseph Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, where he volunteered at their Lenten fish fry, member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Teutonia Mannerchor Club of Duquesne. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and overall outdoorsman. In retirement, he throughly enjoyed his role as a grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed the many birds, squirrels and deer that visited his yard and back porch. He took pride in his many different types of flowers that he grew. Jim was a graduate of Duquesne High School. He was a hard worker, many times working three jobs to support his family of eight children. Jim worked for Noble J. Dick, Linde Air Products, Levine Hardware and UPMC Montefiore Hospital, where he retired as a purchasing manager. He was a bus driver with Port Authority, a former employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and Bekavac Funeral Homes, and a football coach. Skeeter loved riding his motorcycle and was an avid hunter. Born May 3, 1954 in McKeesport, he was a son of Harriet (Williams) Grant of Jefferson Hills and the late Roy A. Grant. He is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie (Craig Martin) Grant of Port Vue; son, Ian Grant of Jefferson Hills; soulmate, Denise Grant of Clairton; brothers, Daniel (Debbie) Grant of North Huntingdon and David (April) Grant of Jefferson Hills; nieces and nephews, Brenda, Brandon (Katie) and Brian Grant, Savannah (Troy) Gilbert and Roy (Jenna Sheridan) Grant; great nieces and nephews, Jackson and Autumn Grant, Demi, Indie and (soon to arrive) Cami Gilbert; also survived by his beloved dog, Sasha. She was born in Magee Hospital on October 23, 1986, to Cindy A. Snyder Ross of Clairton and Richard D. Snyder, Sr. of West Mifflin. She is survived by her significant other of 18 years, Nicholas Potter Sr. of Forward Township. She is also survived by her parents Cindy and Richard, as well as her beautiful children MaKenzie Snyder, Nicholas Potter Jr., and Khori Potter. Further survivors include her brother Richard (Gabby Boyd) Snyder, Jr of Charleroi, and her stepfather Jim Ross of Clairton. Ashley loved hard, and she loved often. She was an animal lover. Ashley was one of the real ones- she was witty, beautiful, true, and magnificently made. She was a Christian and is now home with God- no more pain, no more sorrows. Shirley began her career at Westinghouse and then would retire from the McKeesport School District in the Administration Office.  When she was younger, she played the piano, organ and was a soloist at Christian Life Church in Trafford.  Shirley adored her grandchildren and loved to play Uno and Scrabble with them.

Gloria was a graduate of St. Peter High School in McKeesport. She worked for over 30 years in the admissions department of McKeesport Hospital. She was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church, and Mary, Mother of God Parish, Gloria was active in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and The Ladies of Charity. She enjoyed bingo, casinos, baking, crocheting, sewing, helping her granddaughter Angie with her ancestry tree, and loved collecting Pandas.
