Edward John Freinstein,  76, of North Huntingdon, passed away December 29, 2020. He was born November 28, 1944 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Edward Freinstein, Sr. and the late Ruth (Swigart) Freinstein. Beloved husband, father, step-father, grandfather, and friend, affectionately known to family members as Butch (Butchie). Ed grew up mostly in Penn Hills and graduated from Penn State University in 1967. He loved animals, especially dogs, and had a way with them. He loved to golf and was especially happy when the weather allowed him to get out on the course. He was also an avid Steelers Fan. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Butch was  retired from Westinghouse Bombardier.

Ms. Bush worked for 32 years with UPMC as a medical technologist before retiring in 2013.

Cochran of Coal Center; stepbrothers, David Cochran of Lincoln Borough and Todd Cochran of Coal Center; stepsisters, Diane Hyde of Ruffsdale and Doreen Ahlin of Mt. Pauline was a member of the Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church, Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens, Life Span, The McKeesport Heritage Center, and the Versailles Croatian Club. She loved her grandchildren, cooking, baking (especially pies) and dancing. Pauline loved to laugh and make you laugh by her silly antics! She was always lighthearted and smiling, what a blessing she was to us!

Born in McKeesport, April 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Mollie Weiss Gonzales.  Wife of the late Harry Hobson and the late Harry Addison Conrad, Jr., she was preceded in death by sisters Rosalie Hansen, Miriam Diggs, and Esther Micklo, and brother Joseph Gonzales, Jr. 

She is survived by 3 sons, Jeffrey, Harry, and Bernie, loving grandchildren, sisters, Sylvia Hannen, Doris Amatuzzi, and Linda Micklo, brothers, David, Howard, Albert, and Carl Gonzales. 

Rachel was the manager of Housing Opportunities, Inc., a democratic committee woman in the 7th ward, was associated with Vienna Bakery, and was the matriarch of the family.

Reverend Wilbert A Wilson, 68, was born October 23, 1952, in McKeesport, PA.  The beloved son of the late Wilbert and Ella Louise (Alred) Wilson, Sr., departed this life on  December 22, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, PA. He was preceded in death by his sisters Toni Opong, Rhonda Legget, and Kimberly Wilson.

Woody, as he was affectionately known, graduated from McKeesport High School and attended Chaney State University. He then enlisted into the United States Navy. Later, Woody graduated from Family Bible School, Harty Bible School, and attended The Bethlehem Baptist Church Bible Institute. He retired from the VA in Aspinwall (HJHines) where he served not only the men but was a member of the Honor Guard and a Union Steward as well.

Rev. Woody besides being the cook, gardener, and handyman that never said NO; was also an avid bowler with a high game of 279, one strike away from a perfect game. He was a devoted member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where he was ordained Reverend and became an Associate Minister. He served in the choir and loved being the Ministry Leader of the Men’s Group.

His love of music and records, particularly “oldies”, led him to a second job as a DJ for special events. He was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church, Irwin. He loved the simple things in life – a good meal, coffee after dinner, and time spent with his family.

Rosemary Blaha, age 72, of Port Vue, passed away unexpectedly December 27, 2020, at Jefferson Hospital. Born January 13, 1948, in Buena Vista, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marcella (Skiffington) Goodfellow and the beloved wife of Jack Blaha for 55 years.

Rosemary worked many places throughout her life, including McKeesport Hospital, Pool City, and as a special needs bus monitor for South Allegheny School District (PA Coach Lines). She was a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church. Rosemary loved being a softball mom aka Mrs. B to so many. Rosemary was a 1965 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and earned an Associates Degree from the New York Institute of Photography. She continued showing her passion by creating memories through many photo albums which she shared with family and friends. Rosemary enjoyed family vacations to Deep Creek, MD and Myrtle Beach, SC. Her greatest gift in life was the love and devotion she showed to her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Frances Lofstrom, age 92 of Clairton, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born June 20, 1928 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (Triglia) Ripepi and wife of the late Ernest "Dutch" Lofstrom.  A retired supervisor of Bell Telephone, Frances was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church and the Sons of Columbus Santa Maria Council #3.  In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, working in her yard, and tending to her flower garden and tomato plants.  Frances is survived by her siblings Dominic (Josephine) Ripepi of Clairton, Pat Ripepi of Jefferson Hills, and Toni Rothacker of Clairton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  Besides her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by her sister Marie DeSimone.
