Mary M. DiAngelo, age 90, of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Concordia of Monroeville. Born October 19, 1930 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (McGinty) McAraw. She worked as a secretary for Firth-Sterling Steel Co. in McKeesport, PA for many years, was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, and a former member of St. Paulinus Church in Clairton, where she served as a secretary. She loved going to the Twinsburg Festival in Ohio with her twin sister Ella and her greatest comfort was walking through the Holy Doors of the Vatican in Rome.

Jeneanne E. Badstibner, 74, of Irwin passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at her home. She was born July 16, 1946 in California, a daughter of the late William and Anna (Rupert) McDonald. Jeneanne was a graduate of McKeesport High School and enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Badstibner. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Badstibner; grandchildren, Stephanie, Lashayia, Eryka, Joshua, Erick, Nathan, Lyndzey, Tyrell, Tyrese, Kiara, Emoney; great-grandchildren, Chase, Sincere, Amorie, Aziah, Rydon, Shyne, Si'Niyah, Stormie, Sy'Air, Nashawn; brothers, Paul McDonald, Billy McDonald; sisters, Eileen Brown, Kathy Roethlein, Lorraine Popovich and Virginia Schaffer. Barbara Ann Perkoski, age 78, of Liberty Boro, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Born March 6, 1943 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Michael Farmer and the late Agnes Principal. She was a member of St. Eugene Church in Liberty Boro and would work as a secretary for the family business. She loved spending time on the family farm (Perkoski’s Farm) and will remember as a loving mother, grandmother, and as the glue that held the family together.

Margaret (Knight) Shegan (née Chuhanich), 94, of McKeesport, passed peacefully at home among family on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. She was born February 18, 1927 in Hollidays Cove, West Virginia. She was the wife of the late David J. Shegan, who passed away April 18, 1979. “Margie” graduated from McKeesport High School in 1945. As a young woman she worked as a camera girl at the Vogue Terrace in North Versailles and subsequently in the mail room at the Irvin Works before starting a family with her husband. Margie was a member of St. Sava Orthodox Church in McKeesport, where she was a former member of The Young at Heart's group. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She loved traveling, beach vacations and annual family reunion weekends.

Joan H. Walker, 88, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at her home. She was born January 15, 1933 in McKeesport, a daughter of Raymond W. and Agnes (Wakefield) Harris. Joan was employed by Norwin Veterinary Hospital and G. C. Murphy Co. Home Office in McKeesport. She was a member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church, previously Christ United Presbyterian Church, were she was an Elder, Deacon Sunday school teacher and secretary. She was past president of the Markvue Manor Woman's Club, past president of Friends of the Norwin Public Library Board of Directors, member of the Women of the Moose Irwin Chapter #171, North Huntingdon Civilian Police Academy and AARP #3221 North Huntingdon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Walker. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Stypula and her husband, Steven; sons, Stuart Walker and his wife, Laurel, Timothy Walker and his wife, Alice; grandsons, Bradley (Katie) and Brian Walker, Harrison Stypula, Adam and Benjamin Walker.

Margaret (Peggy) Patton, age 93, of Glassport, died March 22, 2021, at Artis Senior Living of South Hills. Born June 27, 1927, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence (Battles) McRae and the wife of Pastor Walter E. Patton, Jr. Margaret was a homemaker. A United Methodist by faith, she worshipped with her husband and supported his ministry in the many communities he served. Most recently, she attended West Side United Methodist Church.

Robert John Gersch, age 69, of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at his home. Born August 4, 1951 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Edward Francis and Clara Lena (Buccello) Gersch. He was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and had a Masters from the University of Pittsburgh in Microbiology. He worked as a Loan Officer at PNC Bank in Pittsburgh, a Travel Agent for American Express, was a former Democratic Committee Planner, a Partner in Sera-Tech Biologicals in Oakland, and was a licensed funeral director in the Pittsburgh area. Robert was a member of the Sixth Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Mediation Society, and took part in the Presbyterian Peace Keeping Mission.

Elaine Dunlap Gruber, 79, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home. She was born November 17, 1941 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Dominic and Consetta (Micale) Zugaro. Prior to her retirement, Elaine was a waitress for Kings Family Restaurant, N. Versailles and enjoyed playing Bingo, visiting casinos and making crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack S. Dunlap, second husband, Daniel C. Gruber; great-grandson, Timothy Gordon; brothers, Ernie and Larry Zugaro; sisters, Anna Marie Gerison and Elizabeth Deak. She is survived by her son, Jack Dunlap and his wife, Colleen; daughters, Gina Dunlap, Lisa Sinclair and her husband, William, Rhonda Beaufort and her husband, Gary; brother, Angelo Zugaro; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Stacey worked at the Kuhn’s in Turtle Creek for over 20 years. She loved animals, spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews and was an avid Steeler and Penguin fan.

Eleanor Alfreda McGuirk, 85, died peacefully on March 21, 2021. Daughter of the late John and Alma (Christenson) McGuirk. Loving sister of the Late Mary Lou, Delores (Forrest), and late twin sister Eugenia "Dee" (Joseph) Jurich. Also late brothers John(Rose) , James (Barbara), Bernard (late Jessie), Frederick (Virginia), Raymond (Josephine), and Eugene. She also was the loving aunt of numerous nieces, and nephews.
Eleanor was an artist and musician whose talents came naturally. She even had an art show while at Manor Care nursing home. She also liked learning to ballroom dance, enjoyed cake decorating, and the care of her plants, also she loved her dear cats, and dogs!

Helen (Glazar) Karczewski, 96, died Monday, March 22, 2021 at the age of 96 with her daughters by her side. Helen was the devoted wife of the late Edward Karczewski. Loving mother of Diane (the late Ralph) Falvo, Susan (Wayne Jones) Karczewski, Mary Jo (Mark) Jacko and the late Karen (the late Jim) Liebmann. She was the adoring grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 10. She is also survived by her brother, Ted Glazar, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Helen loved to cook, bake bread and make pierogis.
She was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She volunteered at St. Jude Church and was a member of the St. Jude Rosary Society. She enjoyed puzzles and gardening.
