Agnes C. Rushe, 102, of Glassport, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 24, 2018. She was born in Birmingham, AL on January 13, 1916 to the late Robert and Bertha Veitch Tachoir. Agnes was the loving wife of the late William L. Rushe. She is survived by daughters, JoAnn Rushe, Ruth Rushe, and Agnes Barrett all of Glassport; sons, Robert (Lori) Rushe of Duquesne, Ralph Rushe of New Baltimore, MI; sister, Frances Shultz of Duquesne; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Agnes was preceded in death by sons, Tommy, Terry & Bill Rushe; and siblings, Robert, Leo, Tom, Jack, Pat, Joe, Forest Tachoir, Catherine Odoski, & Lois White. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 4 – 8 pm at E. C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport, PA 15045. Virginia "Ginny" Perlick, age 82, of Clairton passed away peacefully on Friday, July 20, 2018 at home while surrounded by family. Virginia attended Clarion University where she studied Library Science and English. She worked as a teacher, spending the greatest part of her career at St. Elizabeth Elementary School in Pleasant Hills. An avid reader, she devoted her retirement years to the Clairton Public Library, surrounded by her love of books. For more than 50 years, Virginia enjoyed playing cards with her card club group. She was known to be extremely kind, compassionate and funny.
