Rehabilitation Center, Turtle Creek.  Born in Pittsburgh on May 22, 1933, she was a retired sales representative for Sears Department Store.  Daughter of the late Dominick and Katherine Mazzeo Ily, she is survived by her son, Mark R. Neeson of Las Vegas, NV, also by 3 grandchildren.  She was a member of the I Am Sanctuary of Pittsburgh and the Saint Germain Foundation.  Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA  15132 is in charge of arrangements.

"Kenny" Datig, 63, of Glen Burnie, MD, formerly of Versailles, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at home.  Kenny was born December 10, 1954 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Gilbert William and Waneta Frances Datig.  He was retired from The Maryland State Department of Transportation where he worked in maintenance and the paint department. Kenny loved cooking, camping and his cat. He enjoyed collecting antiques and figurine cars. He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Edward) Gaussa of Upper St. Clair, his 2 grandsons who he loved so much, Logan and Aidan Gaussa, sisters, Victoria (Paul) Runtich of Adara, Francie (Kurt) Sedlock of Greenock, and Marcia (Peter) Astin of Unity Twp., brother, Gilbert (Reta) of Norfolk, VA, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved cat, Precious.

Dolores H. “Dolly” Navaroli Popovich, 91, passed away Saturday July 14, 2018. She was born October 28, 1926 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Gust and Catherine Bosnak Navaroli. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Johnny, Gus and Joe Navaroli and sister Kathryn Pugh. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, McKeesport.

She is survived by her daughters Mary Catherine Schneider of McKeesport and Christine (Michael) Germek of McKeesport, with whom she resided. Three #1 grandchildren, Jason W. Schneider of Miami, Florida, and Amber and Kristin Germek, both of McKeesport; Sister Mollie Claar of Greenock; Sister-in-laws Joanne Navaroli of Westmorland City and Shirley Navaroli of Delmont; Many nieces and nephews and her precious grand puppies Daisy and Autumn.

Dolores was a retired medical transcriptionist in the Pathology Dept. of McKeesport Hospital for over 25 years. She loved to sew and was a wonderful seamstress. She was a devout Catholic, a “real Italian”, coffee expert, loved watching her old scary Boris Karloff movies and being a loving mom and grandmother.

She was born January 31, 1918 in Bridgeport, CT, and was the daughter of the late Meyer and Ida Leventhal. She was the wife of the late Milton B. Friedman who died August 9, 2000. Fay was a member of Temple B'Nai Israel and the Sisterhood and Hadassah. She was a homemaker and also worked at her late husband Milton's business, Trust Franklin Press. She was a very kind hearted and generous person. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Steve) Finston of Los Angeles, CA, son, Gary J. (Eva) Friedman of Pittsburgh, grandchildren, Natalie (Brian) Valen, Amy (Blake) Mayer, Michelle Finston and Matthew Finston, great-grandchildren, Audrey and Leo Valen and Levi Mayer, and nephews, Scott and Alan Gassman. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Belle Copeland and Esther Gassman.

He was a member and past vice president of the Elizabeth Forward School Board and was also a member of the American Legion and was a former member of the Mount Vernon Athletic Association. He enjoyed his pool league, being on a ball field and time at the beach. Kirk was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He is survived by sons, William Kern Greenwald of Monroeville and Keith Richard Greenwald (fiancée, Brenda Giraldo) of Mount Lebanon, sisters, Linda (Jim) Hughes of Mount Washington and Betsy Neel of Elizabeth Township, nieces and nephews.

Donald J. Williams, 79, a longtime resident of North Versailles, died Tuesday July 10, 2018. He was born December 24, 1938 in Lincoln Place, a son of the late James and Dolores (Ohm) Williams and was also preceded in death by a brother Paul Williams. Don was a graduate of McKeesport High School, class of 1957 and worked for 42 years at Westinghouse Airbrake Company, Wilmerding. He was a longtime volunteer for East Allegheny Meals-On-Wheels and was a willing and helpful neighbor to many. He was a true Christian and his willingness and cheerful spirit will be missed by all. He was a devoted husband for 47 years to Janet L. (Arnosky) Williams; brother of Rev. Robert (Yvonne) Williams, John D. Williams, and Mary Jean Sherrill; and uncle of Deborah Sammons, Cristin Kersten, and Lance and James Williams.
