Scott Kenneth Binkney, 53, of Ridge, MD, formerly of Liberty Borough, PA, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Saturday November 25, 2017. Cremation was chosen to honor Scott’s wishes.
Scott was born May 16, 1964 in Mckeesport, PA and was the son of Judy E. Fullerton Binkney Kantorczyk of Mooresville, NC and the late Ralph Kenneth Binkney. He is survived by his wife, April Diane Pearson Binkney of 22 years, sons, Ryan (Brynn) Binkney of Lexington Park, MD, Andrew (Trista) Binkney of Struthers, OH, Adam , Jared, Joseph and daughters, Ciarra and Madison all of Ridge, MD. Grandchildren Audrina, Alexander, and Aislyn Binkney. Sisters, Rebecca Binkney of Glassport, Pa and Merry Skotnicki of Louisville, KY, and brothers , Chris Binkney of Penn Hills, PA and David (Kristen) Binkney of Mooresville, NC. Step-mother Donna Binkney of Mckeesport, PA, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-father Ernest Kantorczyk and grandmother Margaret “Nana” Binkney.
Scott was a member of Word of Worship Church in White Oak, PA and was a corporate Job recruiter. Scott was very patriotic and loved his country. He was very proud to have served in the United States Navy for 14 years. He enjoyed coaching his children’s basketball and soccer teams. Scott was compassionate towards others and was always willing to help a friend or stranger in need. He was an organ donor and in the past had donated bone marrow. Scott will be remembered most for his passionate words and rants on facebook along with his sarcasm, humor and quick wit. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Scott’s life will be held at Word of Worship Church, White Oak, PA. Family will be there at 2pm to greet other relatives and Friends. The service will begin at 3:30. The family invites friends to stay after the service for a small reception to continue celebrating Scott’s life. Marion E. (Haus) Morgart, age 88, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at home. She was born March 4, 1929, a daughter of the late William and Louise (Lersh) Haus. She enjoyed going to flea markets with her late son Tom where she and her son sold flea market items and produce. She was an animal lover. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Walter C. Morgart and sons Scott H. and Thomas J. Morgart. She is survived by her son John W. BRIAN PAUL BAKER age 41, of West Mifflin, PA, was born on November 16, 1976 and passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017. Brian was a member of Local Union #373 and worked at Baker Salvage Recycling and Landfill. He enjoyed spending time with his family, detailing cars and going fishing.
