Andrew Thomas Kelly, age 70 of Vandergrift, formerly of McKeesport, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018. He was born April 30, 1948 in McKeesport, the son of the late Benjamin Kelly and Loretta Pipp Ploszay. Andrew served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, and served until his retirement from the Marines. Lavinia (Lee) C. Hamburger Schumann, age 103, of McKeesport entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. She was born in Duquesne, PA on July 24, 1914 to Samuel and Rose Crilley Hamburger.
Survivors are 5 children, Leah (the late Bob) Scheaffer, Janet (Bill) Main, Alice Jean (Paul) Hurley, Chuck Schumann, Vicki (Frank) Simonetta; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren. She served on Irwin Borough Council from 2005 to 2015 and was a member of the Democratic Committee, the ILGWU, and the Moose Lodge and Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Irwin. Most recently, she worked with her husband in their music business. She was a member of St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon and was also a member of Braddock Hospital Alumni Association. She loved gardening, scrap booking, cooking, and relaxing at the beach. Her true love was spending time with her family and spoiling her three grandchildren. She was also an avid Penguins hockey fan. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Albert J. "Al" Zych; son Richard J. Zych of Phoenix, AZ; daughters Lori L. (David) Duvall of Neptune Beach, FL, and Debi L.
