David William Horvatin, 68, of Dravosburg, died Wednesday June 7, 2017. He was born May 13, 1949 in El Monte, CA, and was the son of the late William George and Goldie Barlow Horvatin. David was retired from the Maintance Dept. of the McKeesport Area School District and was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Karol L. Fawcett Horvatin, son, David W. (Jennifer) Horvatin, Jr., of Lakeland, FL, daughter, Karrie I. Horvatin of Dravosburg, sisters, Deanna (Mel) Forsythe of Delmont and Rita Rontondo of Murrell Inlet, SC, brothers, Wayne Horvatin of Dravosburg and Ronald Horvatin of Texas, grandchildren, Breeana Horvatin and Braydon Horvatin, nieces, nephews, and his grand-dog, Daisy.

Lillian Morris, age 80 of McKeesport, formerly of Uniontown, died June 7, 2017 at UPMC McKeesport. Born July 6, 1936 in Uniontown, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Marie Hoffer, and loving wife of the late Donald A. Morris. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Dolores Shaver of Uniontown and many other loving in-laws. Private entombment will be at Sylvan Heights Cemetery in Uniontown. Helen Obrosky, 98, of Duquesne, died June 7, 2017.  She is the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Rakowska) Wozniak.  Wife of the late David Obrosky.  Helen is survived by her daughter Janice Girovsky of McKeesport; son Larry (Elizabeth) Obrosky of West Mifflin; grandchildren Jennifer (Jim) McCalla of West Mifflin and Paul Obrosky of West Mifflin and great granddaughter Ashley McCalla.  She was a member of  St. Hedwig. Church.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Mon. from 10:00 to 11:00 am at which time a blessing will be held with Father Tom Lewandowsky.  Interment will be private.  The family would like to sincerely thank Three Rivers Hospice for all their kindness and care they gave to Helen, especially Ashley, Elysha and Julie.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contribtions may be made to your favorite charity.

Dorothy B. Reed, age 88 of The Palms at O’Neil, formerly of Port Vue, died June 6, 2017. Born October 6, 1928 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Louis D. and Margaret (Griffin) Breitinger, and loving wife of the late Allen Reed. Dorothy was a graduate of Clairton   High School, and later went on to receive her degree from Robert Morris College. She began her career in the financial and accounting industry, working for G.C. Murphy Home Office in McKeesport, Cox’s in McKeesport, and later worked for Mr. Michael Miklos. She was a long time member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church, the Port Vue Women’s Club, and the Order of the Eastern Star. In her free time, she loved going to the library and reading novels. Her greatest joy was the time spent with her husband traveling the world on cruise ships. She is survived by her two sons, Garry Reed and Craig Reed, both of Port Vue. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her faithful dog, Cookie. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jody Dausey will officiate. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. John A. (Zedo) Suchta, 93, of West Mifflin died peacefully Sunday. June 4, 2017, in UPMC Shadyside. Born in Duquesne, May 30, 1924, he was the son of the Late George and Elizabeth (Torchak) Suchta. Mr. Suchta was a member and usher of Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin, The Parish Men's Club, a Retired Craneman of the former U.S. Steel Corporation, Duquesne Works,  former Grievance Officer of the Steelworker's Union and a proud Veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corp.  Mr. Suchta was an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan, loving his Pirates, Steelers, Pens and Panthers.

Beloved husband of the Late Dorothy (Perhac) Suchta. He is survived by his loving children, Raymond (Joan) Suchta of Peters Twp., Lawrence Suchta of West Mifflin, Kathleen (Patrick) Sullivan of West Norriton, PA, and Christine Matelan (James Ciamacco) of Pittsburgh, and two sisters, Helen Gambal and Pauline Perhac; special "Zedo" to six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Andrew, George, Virginia, Mary, and Anne.
