Anne Bills, age 84 of McKeesport, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by all eight of her children on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Born July 30, 1932 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Wargo) Kurka, and loving wife of the late Frederick Bills. Anne was a born again Christian and member of the Glassport Assembly of God Church, where she was always there to help her church family. She loved to go out and about with her family and friends, and some of her favorite activities were gardening, babysitting, Bingo and Lifespan, where she was affectionately referred to as “Trouble”. She lived her life with kindness, grace, sparkle and strength. She will be remembered for being a proud mother of eight and grandmother and great-grandmother of 33 children! She is survived by her children, John (Karen) Bills of McKeesport, Maryanne “Maggie” (Paul) DeCecco of North Huntingdon, Sandra (Bill) Tressler of McKeesport, Fred Bills of San Diego, CA, Pete Bills of San Diego, CA, Tom (Linda) Bills of McKeesport, Janet (Joseph) Grudowski of White Oak, and Tammy (Mike) Lopez of Phoenix, AZ; cherished “Da-daw” to Alana, Bill, Kurt, Dave, Rashanna, Mike, Angelica, Maxine, Peter, Andrew, David, Armando, Lindsay, and Nichole; Great Da-daw to Antuan, Amiya, Evie, Gabi, Gianna, Annafaye, Leighton, Mathew, Benjamin, Cesar, Marissa, Vincent, Victoria, Adrian, Taylor, Carrie, and one on the way; sister-in-law, Flo Kaylor; also many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her grandsons, Kenny Tressler and Adrian Coleman; brothers, Mike and Peter Kurka; and sister, Mary Babino. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Patrick Pugh will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the family.
