John R. “Jack” Kinsey, 93, of Irwin, passed away peacefully Thursday March 30, 2017. He was born November 9, 1923 in Irwin, a son of the late Russell L. and Returah “Toots” (Stitley) Kinsey and was also preceded in death by his wife of sixty nine years Eleanore B. (Jacko) Kinsey in September 2016, a daughter Marianne Kinsey, a son Thomas L. Kinsey Sr., and a brother Arthur C. “Bud” Kinsey. He was a graduate of Norwin High School, class of 1942, a Navy veteran of WWII having served in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre, a retired employee of Westinghouse Electric Corp., East Pittsburgh and a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Irwin. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman.

Jean A. Nowicki, age 92 of McKeesport, entered into Heaven’s Gates on March 29, 2017 at Paramount Senior Living in McMurray.  Born March 15, 1925 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Sally (Rymar) Kustra and wife of the late Edmund R. Nowicki.  Our mother always looked for the good in everyone and offered a warm greeting to everyone she met.  She had a gracious, selfless spirit and indomitable strength despite all the challenges of her life, because, “someone always has it worse”.  She was our heart and soul.  She was the Past President of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers & Ladies Guild, Past President of the Rosary Society, Eucharistic Minister and former member of the Pastoral Council.  She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court #221 and the McKeesport PNA #352.  She is survived by her son, Dr. Edmund J. (Christi) Nowicki; daughter, Patricia J. Dobranski; grandchildren, Aaron Stewart, Lacey Stewart, Kellie (Josh) Stahlman, Logan Stewart, Edmund C. Nowicki, Haley Nowicki, Roberto Nowicki, Jack Nowicki, Amanda (David) Stone, Melissa (Daniel) Fletcher, and Ethan Dobranski; great-grandchildren, Caleb Stahlman, Rayne Stone, and Clara Stahlman, and also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by daughters, Cyndi Nowicki and Marianne Stewart; sister, Gladys Golik; brother, Edward Kustra and niece, Donna Golik.  Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 2-8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Corpus Christi Church.  Fr. Loretta A. Perozich, age 70 of Lincoln Boro died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at UPMC Montefiore. Born September 23, 1946 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late David C. and Mary Elizabeth (McCarthy) Krimm, Jr. and loving wife of the late Anthony V. Perozich, Jr. Loretta worked as a Nurse’s Assistant for McKeesport Hospital, having retired from after many dedicated years of service. Following her retirement, she began working as a tax collector for Lincoln Boro. She was also the President of the Lincoln Boro Fire and Rescue Ladies Auxiliary, the first female member of the Lincoln Boro Fire Dept., assistant Girl Scout leader, past President of South Allegheny Band Parents, and a member of St. Mark Parish of Liberty Boro where she was an usher and Christian Mother. Above all, her greatest joy was the time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Anthony (Annette) Perozich, III of Lincoln Boro, Susan Lynn (Charlie) Griffin of Plum Boro; grandchildren, Erica, Hallie, Anthony IV, and Meghan Perozich, Rebecca Lynn and Emma Louise Griffin; great-grandson, Caleb Lee; and brother, David (Diane) Krimm, III of Delmont. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mark Parish, Liberty Boro. Raymond A. “Mex” Maldonado, age 63 of McKeesport, died at home on March 28, 2017.  Born June 26, 1953 in McKeesport, he was the son of Harry R. (the late Margaret) Maldonado and Alicia (Jerry) Peters.  He was the loving husband of Cindy (Stumme) Maldonado for 25 years.  Ray worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Mifflin Estates.  He was a “dad” to many and was always willing to mentor and provide for anyone.  He was remembered in the summer for paying the ice cream man in advance so that way, any kid who came up was more than welcome to enjoy some ice cream at no expense.  The word hate did not exist in his vocabulary.  He had a passion for bass fishing and going to his second home at Lake Wilhelm.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Chad (Sarah) Maldonado; Kelly (John Jr.) Hatfield, Katy (Layne) Hurst, and grandchildren, Olivia “O”, Caleb, Cash, Jordan, and Alexis; siblings, Lisa Maldonado, Brian Maldonado, Cindy Campagna, Jennifer Evars, Jerry Peters, Pam (Tom) Keffer  and Leayn Thomas.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, special sons and daughters.  He was preceded in death by mother, Margaret Maldonado; brothers Bruce Maldonado and Chuck McCune.   Family and friends will be received on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m, and Monday services will be held at the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  Condolences may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com
